Unfortunately, our online ordering experience did not turn out so good. My credit card was charged on 08/01/16 when the order wasnt due to ship until 09/02/16. We paid over $120 in shipping charges and were called the morning the order was due to ship and told because we ordered so much, it would have to go into a second box. At the time of the phone call the supervisor couldnt tell me how much more the shipping would be. I asked why wasnt this figured at the time of placing the order and his response was "you ordered online". Um well, yes I ordered online...you have an online site! Anyway, I said well it looks like you have two options, either eat the extra shipping charge or cancel the order. He said hed speak to one of the owners and call me back. I never received a call back from anyone but I did receive an email from one of the owners. Basically, I was referred to a link on their site that stated if more than a bushel of crabs were order, there may be additional shipping charges. OK, so the owner offers to split the difference of the cost stating my part will be $50.98 more. This means there is an additional $101 that wasnt figured in when originally placing the order. By this time I was furious because not only did they not have the courtesy to call back like I was told, $101 more is certainly an error on their part when it should have shown in the beginning. I tried calling to speak with the owner but was told he was too busy to come to the phone! The owner then did offer (via email again) to throw in additional crabs if I would reconsider canceling the order. OK, so now...after a phone call and a couple of emails, youre going to try and placate me with an additional $51 charge BUT youll throw in extra crabs...Gee, why didnt they suggest that in the first phone call or even in the first email. Nope, sorry...but youd already ruined the business relationship by trying to gouge me with extra shipping and not calling back when you said you would. For this they get one star (because I cant leave a review with no stars) and because we didnt even get a chance to find out if their product was good or not. As of today, there is no refund to my account, but in all fairness this took place on Friday morning and this is now only Sunday morning. (Edited: 09/06/16: Refund posted to my card today.) I didnt think businesses were supposed to charge your credit card until the product was being shipped!

My friends and I had an awesome time at the Crab and Cruise Saturday. The purchase process was smooth and before the trip, we received so much helpful/informative information that answered so many questions. We traveled from NC on Saturday and the hotel was a in a prime location, approximately 20 minutes from the cruise location. We arrived at the location and were promptly seated together. We loved that we had name plates to make sure we were seated together. We were all impressed with the process of how we were served. We received several appetizer sized items, ribs, wings, corn on the cob (Oh MY the corn!!!) before the crabs were served. The crabs came hot and perfectly seasoned and did not stop until we wanted them to. We ate and enjoyed to our hearts content. Our meal was followed with a delicious piece of cake. We left the location and moved about 4 blocks down to the boat. The boat was a good size and most people on the boat brought their own coolers. The entertainer on the lower level was very good singing 60s Motown, and the DJ on the upper level was awesome. He played great music and it looked like every enjoyed themselves while we sailed to Tangier Island. which is where the crabbers live. He also gave good information on the crabbers and how they live and some of them were out with a welcoming greeting. This part of the rid was perfectly scheduled so we could enjoy an absolutely beautiful sunset. Now on the way back, the music was awesome and there was a lot more dancing. That part of the ride could have lasted a little longer. I highly recommend this event and look forward to doing this again before the season is over. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE + DIDNT KEEP PROMISE + CHARGE FOR THINGS THEY DIDNt HAVE + LOST OF INTEGRETY I placed this order as my wifes birthday gift. I carefully planned the time so that it can arrive on 9/22 (as "promised guaranteed in the invoice attached"). As it is already 9/23 now, it missed everything. And there is no point of keeping the order as it is intended to arrive on that exact day (9/22) for the special occasion. I called them and they said they were out of the kind of the crabs I ordered. Though theyve tried to contact me but failed (I was traveling), DO NOT PUT THINGS ON THE WEBSIDE THAT YOU DONT HAVE, and DONOT CHARGE FOR THINGS THAT YOU CANNOT SELL!! When I called the customer service, the lady was SOOOOO arrogant and rude, no sincere apologies at all!!! And only when I called and asked, they would refund my credit. Before that, they just didnt send me anything and didnt refund even though they knew they didnt have the things I paid for It totally ruined the event. ====== And now they emailed me after seeing this online review ========= saying that they tried to reach me but failed, and the attitude was even more horrible in the email. TRUE, I failed to be reached. But again, why did you charge me in the first place for several days, for things that you actually didnt have? Didnt you have anything done wrong other than just blaming me for not being able to pick up my phone? Can I charge you a million now for a mansion and then I later tell you I dont have it??? what logic!!

I can only attest to the Crab & Cruise portion which turned out amazingly well. My boyfriend was surprised with this trip and had no idea what was going on even once we sat down. We were immediately overdosed with baskets of french fries, big shrimp, hush puppies, wings, corn on the cob, and pitchers of beer. Then the crabs started coming out and they were medium to large sized and were very fresh and tasty. We were also given these mixed drinks called Orange Crushes which were included and went down way too easy. Hurricane Hazel was there and showed us the most efficient and fastest way to get to the meat of the crab. After we stuffed ourselves we purchased t-shirts and walked to the end of Maryland which felt like the end of the world. We boarded the cruise which was BYOB as well as having free beer in a keg (super cool). The DJ (Greg) up top played great music, made us all laugh and feel welcome, and it was such a fun evening. The best part for me was the sunset view where the water meets the sky, the sea air in your hair, and being in Tangier Island... just good adult times all the way around. Totally worth it!
