I have to admit that I love Chinese food, and I am a customer service freak more than that. My husband and I moved to the area a year ago, and have visited at least a dozen times, not including the times that my hubby goes by himself for lunch since he works nearby. Til this day, I have not had a single negative situation at China House; the food is always hot, fresh and tasty; the staff is always friendly, theres a wide variety of not only chinese, but american foods, and theres a pretty cool Hibachi Grill, as well. The place is HUGE, very nicely decorated, and the atmosphere is one of peace. The one thing I always love more about this buffet compared to others however, is that they dont make you feel like you have to leave in a rush. They allow you more than enough time to grab whatever youre going to eat a few times, sit, enjoy, have a conversation, and leave pretty much when youre ready to. I highly recommend China House Buffet if youre in the area and looking for a wide variety of great tasting, fresh, hot chinese food... the prices are better than KRAZY EDDIES, insane! Marlene Miranda

Customer service is not a priority is this establishment! Everyone is rude. I am not basing this on one visit, this has been several and in one way or another we received horrible service. Usually from the hibachi cook. Every time we go there it is always someone new but they always have the same attitude... Like you are bothering them to cook your food. THATS YOUR JOB! I complained to the manager on two different occasions and both times nothing was done about it. I will never eat here again! If you are looking for a good friendly hibachi good to the one in Williamsport. Way better for and friendly people!

Probably place manager will not care about this review but still I am writing this. Foods are good. I am going this place about 1 month. During this time I never seen even not good just regular normal customer service. And today I fed up. I am doing take away my food all the time. Just today just little my mistake cashier answer angry. You no what damn this place! I will never go this place.

It was the worst place everrrrrr! the waitresses right there are stupid and racist. One of them was looking at our table the whole time, controlling how much food we eat. Then I asked her for a refill for Soda she was like No, because you share it with your brother!!!!!! they kept saying this is the policy and nothing noticed! I was so pissed and I will never go back there again!

If you arrive in a large group and want to pay separately, go to the register together. If a couple leave at a time, the last person will be told 3 didnt pay and theyll make you cover those costs before you go and overall the group will have overpaid and restaurant makes extra money. Not the best selection of food either compared to other buffets in the area.

One of the best buffets in the area. Food is always piping hot, or cold from the salad bar. The crab legs are of better quality than most buffets. There is a large selection of both Chinese and American cuisine, however the choices never change. Prices are standard for a place like this. Atmosphere is casual, wait staff is nice and helpful.

I had to put sauce over my food to heat it up. Most of the food was only room temperature. Some dried up and hard and when we complained the manager denied it (acted as if we were lying) not apologetic at all. Gave us a 4$ discount! Woo-hoo! I will not recommend this place due to bad customer service and lack of humanism. Very UnAmerican!

Overall a really nice place to eat. Customer service is good and food is usually hot (not so much around late lunch/early bird time frame) and tasty. Recipes are consistent so no worries if one day you love a dish and coming in later it tasting different like some places. P.S. I love their General Tso, get it every time!

Food was good, but they put dinner stuff out on the lunch buffet that didnt start for another 40 minutes then was going to take it out of my hand until I said geez charge me for the dinner buffet. Seriously, if theres something on.there for dinner, maybe you should wait until dinner is being served instead of lunch.

Clean, packed at dinner, large buffet. The food was hit and miss - some dishes were lousy, others tasty, most of them average. The tea was average. The sushi was utter crap, but - buffet sushi, what can you expect. Overall, not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but its a buffet - all you can eat soso food.

Awful place. Food is okay but we had our credit card information stolen by this place. We talked to some friends about it and same thing happend to them as well before. If go here, I would never choose to use a card. Cash only. However, I will not be supporting a business like this with my money.

Picked a pair of chopsticks next to the sushi stand, and found MOLD on one stick. Ruined the whole meal for me. Check your chopsticks before you eat with them!
