For the convenience of food serivce, warm greetings from the waitress, I give you the best for servicing for the Veterans and Families. But the cooks are to heavy handed on the season salt. I went to the hospital 2 weeks ago and my blood pressure for the first was sky rocked the day after eating here.. I knew something was strange because my noise started bleeding like crazy when I was eating my food. Today, I totally forgot about it and was hungry desiring to come to Golden Corral again because Ive been eating here for years. I guess it is a habit.. Today, I tasted the gravy, bread dressing and fried chicken and even the steak. Guess what! To much Season Salt and now I am dizzy and feeling a bit different and have a massive head eche. Its a shame, know one in the management is tasting the food here. I come to eat and stay healthy, not to have issues with my health. This is my last time coming here, its to risky for me to play with my health. When I think of the many young children that eat here at the Golden Resturant on Belair rd, I know, that they know no better than to eat whats before them! Unawares to them they are suffering with hypertension from salt and high seasonings. What is this!! some type food comsumption warfare!. The waiters speak about all of the customers complaints of the food being overly salted., therefore, the Management have had enough time to deal with the situation a long time ago. I am wondering how many people after eating here, blood pressure rose in numbers so shocking. I understand complaining to the management team so they can deal with the issue but they have had enough time to fix it. How many complaints the waiters had too take to the management team and they ignored them? Not today!! not any more..its the Health Department next..let them come in here and eat. Then what! Golden has always serves our public with grace and they have brought more community members together but those cooks are to be dealt with by The Health Departmemt or fire their azzes and employee someone that cares. This is by far B.S. I am pissed. This is the only home where food is served in a family setting and now over saltes food will take that away from me. So

Huge parking lot indicates this location anticipates lots of people. Arrival at 5:30 on St Patricks day found a line that delayed getting a table for two for only 10 minutes. Found it remarkable that table had recently been wiped clean (it was still wet) ....but ONLY HALF of the table had been cleaned. Discarded napkins, straw covers and spilled food remained on the floor throughout the hour that we were there. Had to ask for more yellow packet artificial sweetener - there was only 2 packets on my table, and three on an adjacent table. The heavily advertised prime rib was, per employee cutting it, ALL OVERDONE, THEY COOKED IT TOO MUCH. Only well done was available, and it was dry. There was not always a person available at this station on two occasions, and one time a different employee that came seemed to be engaging in his own contest on how sloooowly he could put his gloves on before serving customers. Waited four minutes at one point for the excellent butterfly fried shrimp before giving up and taking the doughy tasting regular fried shrimp. Sirloin steak on grill was first only available as well done (with big piece of fat and gristle), with NONE available at all on second visit to the station (ALL on grill at that moment were half raw) , and again only well done on third visit. Came back from refilling plate at one point to discover waitress had cleared drinks and receipt from table and was ready to seat another party. Had to get new drinks and utensils. Will avoid Golden Corral in future in favor of a Chinese buffet. Overcooked meat unexcusable.

What is this mess even? Seriously. I went here a couple months ago with my younger sister and a friend I had picked up from CCBC. There was a chocolate wonderfall advertised, and if Im a fan of anything its chocolate and wonder. Oh, wait, it wasnt chocolate at all. It was watered down chocolate syrup. What did they put in there? Lead paint?? The place was almost empty, but every table was filthy. The food was absolutely inedible. Seriously, I dont see how the manager could even serve that ish without being totally emberassed. Since the meat had obviously been sitting out for a couple hours, I went for the salad bar. BUT WAIT. Fly central. Flies everywhere. Hair on the counter. Inattentive staff. Unfortunately, they billed me for 3 as soon as I got in, and a refund wasnt possible since the person at the register had abandoned her post. I felt so bad for bringing my friend and sister here that I didnt even ask them to pay me back what I had charged on my card. Worst. "Meal". Ever.

My family and I visited this Golden Corral thinking we would get the same great experience that we always have from the Corrals. I do understand it was Fathers Day, but the conditions of the facility were disgraceful... The restaurant was dirty and food was horrible... We were escort to a section to be seated then the server as the host to wait and seat us at another table which wad dirty.. We had to wait for it to be cleaned and the table around us were filled with dirty dishes.. They moved the dirty dishes from table to table verses taking to the kitchen... The floors were fifty cover with food...the buffet was not stocked and was dirty.. Food every were....while waiting in the buffet line someone was coming out of the kitchen and I saw it wad filthy there was were..Food on the floors... I lost my appetite from the filth. We WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT GOLDEN CORRAL AGAIN....they need the health inspector to visit them...

I was taking here for Thanksgiving. I dont like to complain so I just did the best I could but there was silverware that still had food on it ,plates that were not clean. I looked for the best I could find. All the food did turn out fairly good except the potatoes tasted like soap. Since I ate there I have had a virus soar throat cough over all sick been taking over the counter meds but I am going to the doctor tomorrow if I am still feeling sick. I never eat out especially at all you can eat places. So many people handle the serving spoons you dont know if their hands are clean then you are touching it. Same with forks if it has food on it than it has someones germs etc. On it. Thats so gross. I will still to my home cooked meals. One good thing the place was clean the waiter was friendly.

Our family comes here regularly and while they all have their favorite foods, I usually get a simple spinach omelette, bacon, fruit. Many I spoke with today agree the food quality is not what it was even six months ago. This has never been a gourmet restaurant, people pile their plates high and go back often. But the pay before you eat model must be hurting their bottom line. My silverware looked like it came out of the garbage disposal. There was only one omelette chef responsible for french toast and other eggs as well. The line was so long it prevented other guests from reaching food. When I asked about my coffee, someone said they told her to go behind the counter to get it herself. If it werent for my family trying to get 35 people together at once, Id never go again.
