If I could give 0 stars I would. Arrived and was enjoying dinner and a large team arrived. I am fine with a large group of people but when children are running down the aisles and at the food bar and the noise level is so loud I cant hear my companion or children directly accross from me something is wrong. I spoke with the first manager and he said they would make an announcement and never did. My plate was knocked from my hand, my daughter who was with me and is 5 was pushed over as a child ran down an aisle. My mother who is older couldnt even go get her own food in fear of being knocked down. This left me to get food for 3 children..then my mother...and finally myself...when I spoke to the second manager he seemed as if it didnt matter. I said "Im sorry i wanted to let you know about the noise and that"...with that I was immediately cut off mid sentence and told " all we can do is make an announcement again". Again? What do you mean again??? "I sat for 30 minutes after speaking to the first manager and no announcements were ever made". I was then immediately told "there is nothing i can do"and he walked away to seat people never apologizing or even ending our conversation...Im sorry why do we have managers if they cant enforce simple company policies "no children at food bar alone" and speak respectfully to customers. I was clearly upset returning to my table and never heard an announcement. I double tipped my waitress Christina because she was great and because of what she was dealing with...I couldnt believe my eyes, While coaches and other adults in the group sat in another section eating all the children were dropping food and walking on it, running around her section while eating, and throwing their napkins to the floor or at each other I knew she was in for a long night of closing chores...amazing and should not have happened to her...Even my 5 year old said mom why would they do that and we all felt for her...maybe an adult child ratio during checkin should be required or groups should be in separate rooms for noise control... As for the employees...my children love all the servers especially Ty Christina and Dave...they are always pleasant... Also to the ladies at the ice cream and cake station...you are always nice and engage with my twins and they love to say Thank You when getting cotton candy as I have seen so many people snatch it from your hand and walk off, Im Sorry for this...THANK YOU... And to the back of the house and grillman..Thank You for keeping the food fresh and hot, because behind the scenes is where all the hard work happens and some forget that, also for remembering returning customers..I dont even have to say rare when I go up for steak... Thank You...I give the employees 5 stars...They should be managing the place!! I am hoping that with this review and the countless others before mine someone will actually read them and address the issues at hand...When do companies and owners get so wrapped up that they cant respond to clients, customers, and guests when they are in need?

So my father and I wanted to treat these 2 kids from our church, 10 and 12 years old to a meal at Golden corral after sixflags, because their mom had died from cancer in the last 3 weeks. They were really excited. Unfortunately we got out of sixflags pretty late and it took us a while to get to this golden corral on the way home. Fortunately they closed at 10pm and we were in the door at 9:53pm. When we walked up to the register no one was there, although there were at least 5 tables with a lot of people still eating. After a minute or two a woman came up and said, "You know we close at 10 right?" I said yes, and she said ok. We then heard a man yelling from somewhere we couldnt see saying, "What time is it?" She responded with the time and the man named TY appeared who was yelling before. He then proceeded to thoroughly explain how they were closing and there would be no fresh food put out, and asked us to go look at the food to make sure we wanted to stay and eat. It was extremely awkward and we felt like we had to convince them to let us eat. I understand we walked in the door close to closing time, but we shouldnt have to feel bad for getting something to eat while the place is still open and they are serving other tables regardless. They should close at 9:45 if they dont want people showing up at 9:50. After insisting they let us get a table and eat, we sat down and noticed they had tons of fresh hot food out, nothing was missing until they started to take the food away as we began to eat while another table had been there before us next to us was finishing up. Fortunately my father was smart enough to grab 3 plates for himself at once. We didnt mind them closing up around us, but they could have just let us sit down and eat when we walked in instead of making us feel like intruders, especially in front of the kids.

would rate 0 stars if i could. went to have dinner last night with my mom and dad. my mom is a senior so she usually gets the senior dinners while my dad and i get the normal adult meals. first of all the lady running the counter when you first walk in did not seam to know what she was doing. didnt pay attention at all. we ordered our drinks (water, pepsi, and unsweetened ice tea) she hand us our drinks and we proceed to the register where she rings up our drinks. total came to like $50 and some change. when questioned about those prices, she said well those are the weekend prices. and then we said something because we saw that she charged us for 3 soft drinks. so mom say oh you guys charge for water now? and the girl let out a huff and rudely said the screen was broken and proceeded to take the water off our bill that is now reduced to $46 something. when questioned about the prices on the board being different than what we were being charged she said that these were the weekend prices and the others were weekday prices. and by the way, the "weekend prices" ARE NOT posted on the menu board. we walked out never paid never ate there. if you enjoy being ripped off, by all means go eat there. however i guarantee that it most likely will not be worth it. i will never be stepping foot into another Golden Corral establishment.

My family and I have been here several times, each time worst than the last. But nothing could prepare us for the terrible experience we had last Saturday night. We went back to Golden Corral, reluctant since our last experience but since we were also feeding our neice and nephew this weekend, we figured this would be the place to find something for everyone. The tables and floor of the dining room were filthy, the food was hard and dried looking as if it had ben sitting there a while, even the salad dressings had a film on them like they were sitting too long. My husband and nephew got steaks that were inedible becuase they were dry and overcooked. And, as soon as my husband took a bite of the "fish", he got sick and had to leave the restaurant. When I finally found the manager and let him know that my husband had gotten sick, he was rude and acted like we were out of line for trying to let someone know the food had sat too long under heat lights and made my husband ill. That night all five of us got sick off the food we had at the Golden Corral. We wont ever be back. Since the manager doesnt care enough about his customers to make sure the food is fresh and not harboring bacteria, we felt it was up to us to post a bad review. Eat at your own risk.
