Worst dining experience ever!! We werent ready to order when the waitress came over. So she didnt come back! We saw her on the phone for a LONG time. Finally another waitress came and took our order. WORST FOOD EVER!!! No one even offered us another cup of coffee. When my husband told the person at check out just how bad the service and food was they didnt even answer hin. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EAT AT THIS NIGHTMARE OF A DINET!

The service was some of the worst I have ever received. The waitress came over, and attempted to take our order. When we told her we werent ready - she left and came back less than 45 seconds later. She did this approximately 7-8 times. We ever ordered an appetizer, but she still kept pestering us. Although we came at 6 PM on a Saturday, you would think it was closing time the way we were rushed out.

Went with my son and mother. Had over-salted food, rusty lettuce salad, and the worst steak and shrimp a person could ingest. After complaining about it, the obnoxious owners stated "diners are not restaurants" and I should "not expect the same quality of food as a restaurant" I also am not happy to know they have illegal Mexicans living in the basement apartment. Avoid that rat hole at all costs.

Ive been going here for years I recommend anything on the menu the specials are superb for breakfast I always get the six egg white veggie omelette with a side of applesauce for lunch and dinner usually its the turkey platter but it could be anything Im in the mood for. Nice family place nice atmosphere and the ladies are wonderful order anything you want even if its custom order

The worst ever.I would not recommend this place to anybody,they pass off mayonnaise as blue cheese for there nasty chicken wings.there servers are to busy with there friends to serve the customers.Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement should go in there to check on there bartenders for serving the drunk lady that walks in there and gets served.

I am a local and I eat at this diner 3 or 4 times a week for the past 10 years and the food is always good and the prices are fair .with excellent waitresses like Chris or Pat to take your order. What can I say if you are in the Poconos the Chestnut Hill Diner is the place to go. Almost forgot you can get a drink there too.

A rather traditional eastern US diner as you might find in NJ and eastern PA (southern NY state too for that matter). Large menu, all-day breakfast, decent portions and good food. Friendly atmosphere and you never feel as though theres any rush to leave. Almost never crowded, but is well visited by the locals.

Our Boy Scout Troop gathers here before heading home each January after the Klondike outdoor camping. The service and food are wonderful and pricing is reasonable. This past weekend we had a party of 23 people. The food arrived hot at the table, delicious pancakes, eggs, home fries and coffee are legit!

This place is in need of some up to date renovations. Looking at this run down diner from the outside makes you want to get back in your car. Maybe the owner should stop wearing his gold chains with his button down shirt and hair chest, and focus on his property

I feel that its just typical diner food. I will say though that you get a lot of food for the price. Most of the dinners come with soup/salad sometimes two sides and some form of desert. Now the soups are amazing the Italian wedding soup is the best!

Coming from Jersey, of course the PA diners are not quite up to par, but this one isnt so bad. Food was fresh, staff was friendly. Way better than the experience we had at the Gap Diner in Wind Gap. We go twice a month or so for dinner.
