The old world charm is so warm and cozy ..you are greeted with a friendly smile ..and asked if youd like to dine on the main floor dining / bar area or down in their more secluded, cozy dining area ....I chose down stairs ..the history of the establishment touches your heart as you dine ...,the food is outstanding ,my dinner salad was full of flavor and was plated with awesome greens ,nuts ,berries and a fine bleu cheese ,.. my added Thai shrimp was to die for ....My guests pub sandwich was overstuffed with meat and tender ..the sweet potato fries were a perfect addition to his meal ...Both our plates went back to the kitchen spotless. ;) ..The menu is priced accordingly to the quality of the food and the passion put into the food by the chef..... and well worth every penny ...I am a chef and a foodie myself ...I am a first time guest ..and Im preparing when to return as I write this review ..This establishment can be my new addiction ;) ..Travis our waiter was incredibly attentive ,professional and helpful ..his suggested specials made my night complete .. :)

One of the best meals Ive ever had! I was in Pottsville to meet a client who suggested this restaurant. I was expecting run of the mill fare but was greatly surprised. First off, the Christmas decorations were fantastic, trees and lights everywhere. Mark, one of the owners gave us a tour along with the history of the building it was quite interesting. The meal itself was creatively put together and the flavors were exceptional. The calamari was probably the best Ive ever eaten. The Sea Bass with bacon & chimicurri (I hope the spelling is correct) was excellent. My partner devoured her crabcake paired with macaroni and cheese to die for. We opted for the cookie plate for dessert, The Christmas tree pine flavored cookie actually tasted the way pine trees smell! I would put this restaurant next to any in a large city.

Service was awful. After our waiter heard that we were not ordering alcoholic beverages, he lost all interest in being attentive to our table. It took over an hour to get our meal. Once our meal came, my meal was bland, lack-luster, boring -- it was the fish-of-the-day prepared "according to the chefs recommendation." Our waiter promptly took my meal back and then brought me a Greystone salad because I didnt want the four other people I was with to have to wait another hour for my meal to come. Obviously, I was less than impressed by my experience at this restaurant and will not be returning.

Quality service, excellent food, fantastic atmosphere. Warm selections of fresh bread, proper presentation of sparkling champagne, prime aged beef, osso bucco, slowly roasted and falling from the bone, fresh fish done just right with excellent accents for all entrees. All this in Pottsville! Wow, the coal regions have great bars with great food, but this quality and atmosphere is usually only found near larger cities. A must return to try more of the menu, what a fantastic selection. This is a special prize, a must.

I enjoy good food , atmosphere , but I enjoy selection more. There are plenty places in the VERY close proximity of this place with amazing selection , and my honest opinion better food. This is a place I would have to say is more of a statement because of there prices for the food, if you are one who needs to one up society by going to an overpriced "fancy" and only fancy because this area is not fancy , its upscale but like I said , I enjoy selection and quality , also taste.

Great establishment for the area, excellent food and drink selection. 2 story dining area. Place for all and everyone, "fancy" is a relative term and the people using it eat at McDonalds, the Pottsville Diner. Outstanding layout, design, and very clean. Patio for warm days. A++

High class bar restaurant where the upper class doctors and Lawyers and business men go to mingle and hang out to have drinks and fancy food. Very expensive place to eat and drink. For the average working person.

Fantastic food and service, as always. I ordered the special of the day: a full rack of baby back ribs with a watermelon bbq sauce, fresh cut fries, and blue cheese cole slaw.

Rude sever. Saturday night and they were sold out of over half of their entrees. Real shame. Food used to be good. Went down hill quick.
