Ordering takeout, the lady answering the phones had an attitude like she didnt want to be there, so immediately offputting. Asked for a side of meatballs which is not on their menu...took awhile and much more complexity to make this happen. Husband wanted wings and they only have whole wings and no buffalo sauce fyi...and charge 60 cents for a side of marzetti blue cheese. We wanted so bad for this place to be our pizza and wing place but no go. Pizza was terrible, and meatballs clearly frozen...not authentic italian fresh homemade as they claim to be. I get that a,side of meatballs are not on the menu but if i ordered the pasta dish with these meatballs it would have been worse. 5.50 for 4 frozen meatballs is robbery. If they were authentic italian meatballs that price is ok. Wings ok, but call them what they are....fried chicken, not "wings". Cant wait for east liberty to get a pizza and wing joint with good meatballs worth getting about excited about....sigh.

My family ordered from Capri Pizza tonight and there was a live, moving white inch- long worm on our cheese pizza. We spoke to Capri and they sent the driver back to get the pizza. The driver was very polite. He took the pizza back to the restaurant. A little while later, Kevin called from Capri and he was extremely rude to my mother and I. He insisted that we had sprinkled something on the pizza and the worm was I whatever we sprinkled on it. We DID NOT sprinkle anything on the pizza. That wiggling, disgusting worm came with the pizza. He basically called us all liars. No one should speak to a customer that way, its just unacceptable. We understand that bugs exist. His attitude was obnoxious and unnecessary. We will never order from Capri again. Well also be reporting Capri to the city so hopefully this wont happen to anyone else.

I recently moved into the neighborhood. I was looking to get some take out some food so I checked out their prices online and saw they had a good deal on wings. It was 10 pm on Friday when me and my GF headed there. We hadnt even walked into Capri before people started making comments on our skin color, then people went on a rant on gentrification clearly talking about us. At which point we knew we were not welcome and looked for a different pizzeria. There is a lot of racial tension in the area with all the development thats going. This review is here to give a heads up to anybody looking to visit Capri on a Friday night.

I love Capri. The owners, as well as staff are so polite, inviting, and down to earth. My time in East liberty has involved a lot of take out and every visit has been unique. They know me by name, adore my child, and have even offered her a free cookie here and there. The pizza is thin crust and delicious. The whole wings are great. And when I have ordered chicken tenders I love that the honey mustard is prepared a brown mustard. This is a very down to earth family run joint and totally worth a taste. Great service and great food.

Waited 10 minutes to order, while the owner was busy flirting with some ugly middle aged lady, then waited 30 minutes for my food (pretty sure they completely forgot about it). Was served something completely different from what I ordered. The food I did receive was overcooked to the point it wasnt edible. Ive given this place 3+ chances and every time its been incredibly dissatisfying. Glad there are so many other options in East Liberty for quality food and good customer service.

Love the steak wedgies! I kinda drive 20 mins for them but they are soooo worth it. Consistently delicious every singe time. The reviews referring to the place as "ghetto" are made by ignorant people who are simply frightened by the sight of black people. Grow the hell up, its 2015. Black people in this area are really friendly and they really appreciate it when you support their stores and businesses. Keep this area alive! Spend your money here! Its a safe neighborhood!

The food is okay. Nothing blows me away. The short lady working the cash register was so rude rolling her eyes when my boyfriend was asking her price questions, she was whispering under her breath. Like if you dont like food service job then get another form of education. My boyfriend was about to go back to his Philly ways and molly wop her.

They told me they wont deliver to you unless you have a land line phone number. How ridiculous is that? Person on the phone was surly, also. There are plenty of other pizza places willing to take my money, so sorry to have bothered you by trying to give you some business.

I work at a Dr. Office down the street, and me and the other staff all love Capris Delicious and reasonable prices.The only thing I will say is some of the staff do seem like they have a attitude, other then that great place to eat !

Its a good cheap lunch or dinner. I used to pick up a six-pack on a Friday after work when I was in the area. Its a long time resident of East Liberty and not as pretentious as the new restaurants and residents of the area.

This place sends spam emails. When you try and reply "stop" to make them stop, the number does not work and wont accept texts. Either figure out the correct way of doing it or quit trying to promote yourself with texts.

This pizzeria wont deliver to you if you only have a cell phone, only if you have a landline. Absolutely the most ridiculously negligent customer service. Nice way to try and keep your patrons happy.
