I grew up with The Foster House so my opinion might be a little biased but here is my review. :) The food here is amazing! The burgers may be the best in the Pittsburgh area. The patties are hand made and usually made by one or two people ever so the consistency is awesome. The bread for the buns is made right down Broad Avenue and is local as well. They have a variation on the Primanti sandwiches that they call The King Sandwich. In my opinion, they are much better than the Primanti version because of the coleslaw and the bread. The coleslaw is more mayo based as opposed to the vinegar based Primanti version. The sandwiches are buy one, get on on Sundays too!! The only thing that I dont like about this place is that you can smoke here but its never so smoky that its unbearable and it will never, ever stop me from going in there and enjoying one of those sandwiches!! If youre ever in the Mon Valley definitely seek out this place. Its well worth it!!

The older lady with her black hair us probably the worst bartender i ever seen, i waited 15 minutes at bar for a beer , and was going to order a sahndwhich but she was to busy down at other end of bar flirting with some guy showing him pics on her phone lmao.. I seen 2 other people walk out, and guess what I was right behind them, worst customer service ever, she should not be working anywhere that requires her to deal with custoners..

11/2/14.....Went to Fosters at 6:00 pm with my family of four....sat at a filthy table at the front....waited 20 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge our presence let alone clean the table off....never happened.......ended up leaving........will never go again.....went to Little Bamboo and had great service, food, at a clean table.......

This is my favorite place to eat. The service is always great, the food is always top notch, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. No better place to eat in Belle Vernon. A great place place for friends and family to relax after a hard days work.
