My Dinner was delicious! My husband, son and I went to an early dinner on Saturday. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but not so much as to be annoying. The menu, which we had previously viewed on line, was interesting and there were also some blackboard "specials" to chose from. My husband said that his crab cakes were very good, but he doesnt have them often. My adult son loved his barbeque ribs and devoured every bit. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my scallop/portabello/arugula special which I ordered without the normal scalloped potato side. Our waitress suggested a double vegetable order as a substitute - I was thrilled. She explained that some people order it well done, rather than pink in the center. I appreciated her helpful info. Its very comfortably casual, but kind of noisy. There was no background music during dinner, which is probably why it seemed noisy. We were seated near the windows and enjoyed the view. I am looking forward to returning.

My husband, son and I stopped last Sunday afternoon. I liked the rustic look of the grill from the onset, but the food is the star. The server was wonderful. Since it was our first visit, we asked for some suggestions which we took. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with the crab cake (all crab by the way), my son had the 1/2 rack, chicken and shrimp combo, and my husband had the fish and chips. All the food was very good and trust me, I am very picky with my crab cakes, I hate filler! The broccoli and zucchini are some of my favorite veggies and were cooked perfectly, but the star of the vegetables was the scalloped potatoes. They are fascinating balls of deliciousness. The potatoes are actually shredded similar to some home fries. I looked at other diners selections and the burgers looked delicious, too. That might be my next choice. The serving sizes are awesome, too. I will back as soon as I can!

LOVE the Cactus Grill and go there often. The food is great and they always have good music on a Fri night, although it can get a little too crowded for my taste. There is only one waiter there that is consistently unfriendly beyond anything Ive ever seen - and he only works nights, but ALL of the other waitstaff there is GREAT - especially Scott - and I am happy to have any of them serve us. (I do admit were disappointed when we do get that waiter, but its just become a sort of joke and we just laugh about it now.) There have been a few items on the menu that havent been that great, but Id say 90% of the menu items are delicious! GREAT atmosphere and views to see while youre eating! Youll need a reservation on a Friday night.

All the negative reviews for this place seem to disappear. Folks, this is not a 4 or 5 star place. Three star at best. I drive past here everyday. Recently I had a day off from work and popped in here for lunch. The sign outside says "Awesome Crabcakes", so I ordered the crabcake platter and a bowl of chili. The chili was not that bad, but the "crabcake" was this awful, greasy mess in a cup that was made using IMITATION crabmeat, and smelled like my crotch does after a 5 day backpacking trip. The service was not very good either. I asked twice for water and each time they forgot, so I basically ended up eating my meal without anything to wash it down.

Lately, my wife and I find ourselves coming back here after considering the many alternates. The food is very good; there are always specials, so that the menu doesnt get stale with repeated visits. The portions are generous, nicely presented. The drinks are well-made (strong but not too strong). The weekend entertainment is a nice bonus, too. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty. To quote my wife: we have never had a bad meal here. Its a little far from Doylestown, but there in no traffic at all. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for us, we always feel comfortable. Keep up the great work, Cactus Grill!

I expected little more than a road bar but was quite surprised by the quality & presentation of the food. I had a half rack of ribs. The meat fell off the bone easily & was very tasty. My wife had a special chicken dish (I dont remember what) but she was very happy with it as well. The waiter could have engaged in a little, make that ANY, friendly talk. But we werent there to make friends just have dinner. The prices were reasonable and we will be back.

Bartender was rude and threw the check in front of me. She seemed rude from the beginning and didnt even say thank you. Plus a Guinness and Shocktop cost $15 and comes in red solo cups??? I will not be coming back and I wish I never tipped her as well.

The chili is Amazing. Sweet, chunks of beef, enough heat to make it interesting. Service was awesome..SCOTT our sever was fantastic. He was attentive and thorough. Cole slaw needs work. Black bean cheese dip was tasty.

Very unsanitary! Theyre about to have a fire soon with all that grease on the outlets that they dont clean. Dropped some food on the floor, its cool just pick it up and put it back on the plate. Thats their motto

I dont really know what happened. On our way home from the Poconos and decide to stop here for some bbq, and I end up eating one of the best steaks Ive ever had. This just became a routine stop for us. Amazing.

Loved the food! Everyone of the staff was very pleasant! The black man that played guitar was awesome!!! Loved the music while having dinner! !!! We definitely will be back and bringing friends.
