I usually dont write reviews, but this place is so wonderful, I just had to take the time. My husband and I have been going there for quite a long time already-usually going to the amazing buffet or ordering take out (where you get small complimentary desserts with your order!) Today, the weather was bad and I was my birthday so we went for the lunch buffet. When we got there we were a little bummed because they werent doing the buffet due to the inclement weather and slow service day. But we stayed and ordered off the menu-mulligatawny soup, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable korma, all very hot! Before our soup came out we were brought a free appetizer which was so nice! The food was delicious and the people there are so attentive and kind. They didnt have a dessert that I wanted for my birthday, so they broght me out something different in addition to a surprise dessert! Seriously, the best Indian food and the most wonderful people! We had plenty of food and brought home enough for dinner tonight. If you havent gone, give them a try. You wont regret it!!!!

We went to this place last saturday after reading the excellent reviews. But I have to say either the reviews are of some other place or they picked us to have worst experience possible. This place has really good ambience, so you feel after entering that food will match that..but unfortunately that was not the case Service was really bad .. there was so much confusion about how many plates we need(I am sure everybody needs one).. we had to ask for everything we needed as the hostess/owner( very polite and nice) was much busy talking to all non-indian customers at length and did not pay attention to take the order or to check how it was as she got most of it wrong.. Coming to food their non-veg platter was very good served with excellent green chutney(really flavorful) but the entree was just okay with Naans worse than we can cook at home..

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Their food is as good as the people working there. Chef Sandeep & his wife manage this restaurant so well that you get homely feeling while dining in. It has become our regular dinner stop while driving back home from upstate New York. Today we were returning from Niagara trip and called this place for to-go since we were running late. We reached this place after its closing time. Not only they allowed us to dine in but also offered the special food cooked for themselves for tasting. We had a goat biryani and a veg biryani which tasted fantabulous. We were completely overwhelmed by their gesture and offered them a tip for their services which they humbly refused. So the only thing I can do for them is to write this review. Keep up the spirit Chef Sandeep n team.

NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL HERE. This place is the best Indian Food I ever had except for when I ate at NIRVANA in NYC. That was stellar but Clove is just as good and its in NJ. The dont deliver so we go to pick it up and we experiment with different plates but the MANGO CHICKEN is stellar & frankly just thinking about it makes me hungry. So if you never had Indian go to Clove. If youve had Indian and want a really good restaurant go to Clove. Ive been to Clinton and their Indian restaurants arent as good.

I am not an avid diner of Indian cuisine. Not because I dont like it I just am not sure what are the right things to order. Wednesday nights at Clove are buffet style which was perfect for someone like me who isnt familiar with the food. Perfect way to sample a little bit of everything and go back up for more! The buffet selection was a bit of everything. Chicken, Lamb, Rice, Noodles, Salad, Sauces and desert. Staff was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to dining here again.

We live in Tennessee, but often go to PA or Jersey to visit our family. I am European, and my husband is American and we both LOVE good Indian food. "Clove" is FANTASTIC!!!!! We just loved EVERYTHING about it. The ambiance, the EXCELLENT quality food and the great kindness and good manners we were treated with by the people working there. We will be back in December and are telling everyone around that area about this LOVELY JEWEL!!!

Lunch buffet $10.65. 4 vegetarian dishes: saag, kurma, baigan, chana; chicken tikka & another chicken dish plus kulcha/fritters. They brought naan, and they had raita, papadum; tamarind, mint and onion chuney, and lime pickle as well as additional salad-type veggies. Two deserts. Nice sophisticated atmosphere for the strip mall. Prompt and polite. Seemed clean. Nice change for lunch.

Im definitely eating here again. Ordered for take-away and the food was simply awesome! Politely greeted as soon as I entered the establishment and food was ready as promised. Asked for medium spicy lamb curry and it was absolutely perfect. This is now my go-to place for Indian food. Highly, highly recommended! (I give four stars for of course I havent as yet experienced dining-in.)

Went last week for the Wednesday night buffet. Everything was freshly made. There was a good variety of meat and vegetable dishes, spiced perfectly to give a wide range of flavors. Very friendly and attentive staff. We drove 45 minutes to get there and will be doing so as often as possible. If youre in NJ and heading to the Sands, give it a try.

My family absolutely LOVES this place. We are probably there once a week. Its family owned and operated, and they are lovely people. The food is great. Some of the best we have had. We often visit Chand Palace in Parsippany. Clove is as good or better. Its also much closer to home, a huge plus.

Wonderful place! The owners are extremely nice and go the extra mile. They brought my boys Mango drinks and free appetizers for the table. Customer service is top knotch and food is right up there with it. We will definitely be back. Recommended it to locals and anyone looking for good Indian.

We were greeted warmly and got helpful suggestions regarding what to order from the staff. The food was very delicious & fast service also lil expensive. we were very pleased to find Clove Indian cousin in Phillieburg NJ. The décor and ambience of the restaurant really adds to the experience.

My husband and I recently discovered Clove and we love it. We now find that we not only go there for sit down dinners, but also for take out dinners. They also have a wonderful lunch buffet that we were able to enjoy a bit ago. Id like to recommend something but its all very good.

Been coming here for over a year. The food is really good! Only thing is I think theyre cutting down on the portions, the bowl they use now for the entrée is about half the size it used to be. But that wont keep me from comming back, would recommend the lamb Rogan Josh.

The food was great and reminded me of the Indian cuisine restaurants that I use to visit in Japan. The garlic naan is great and the tandoori menu is good. There is a nice selection for the lunch time buffet if you would like an idea of the food offerings.

We enjoy the food, but using the mobile site only leads to confusion as the workers do not look at the notes that are added at the end of the order. Call them or eat in if you want your oder to be right!!!
