If you are looking for real Korean food with fair price, this should be the last place on Earth you would go if you know anything about the Korean food. As a Korean who loves and is proud of Korean food, I was deceived by the food quality they served and felt cheated by their pricing. $7.5 for ramen that you can buy for $0.75 at any korean grocery stores? I ordered one of my favorite Korean dishes called ohjinguh uhdeupbop, cooked rice topped with squid and veggies but what came to me was this unidentifiable stuff with small cup of what looked like egg drop soup. There were no banchan( side dishes) like kimchee which are intergral parts of the Korean meal. I just dont want the college student looking young customers to believe what they eat at that joint are genuine or good Korean food. Since I live in the D.C. area, I maybe spoiled by the Korean restaurans in my area, but I can not call the food I had at this place Korean at all. If you are willing to travel to have really good korean food, go to any korean restaurants in Annandale, Virginia and you will know what I am talking about. Thank

They wont take special orders.the bibimbap was bland....bubble tea was great! Plis they are very friendly... Just need more flavor on the food besides the sauce. Adding on...gave em a second try... 5 small tiny pieces of beef bbq with no rice and a small beef bbq with rice 27 dollars... All in very small portion and yerday i had the same but a bibimbap and the same platter plus rice plus a drink for just 30 dollars.... All in very tiny small portions... I think they are way to expensive for what they offer...they still very nice ppl but prices are a rip off... 2 tries and out. Sorry. Will not coming back.

Love this little unpretentious "mom and pop" style shop, Good selection of Korean food. Nothing fancy, good "comfort" style food. There is some self serve element to eating here, like get your own tea. But, that was the easy part. There is only one bathroom, so if you come during busy times, might have to wait a bit. On the outside, it is rather plain looking, it is the University City side of Philadelphia and is a little tough to find. I came somewhat late, so there was no crowded, so I cant tell how popular it is during the regular hours. But, I definitely would come again, lunch or dinner.

Mom/Pop shop secretly tucked away behind Chilis restaurant in university city! Great wings! I am addicted to them esp. the spicy ones, they are perfectly crunchy! Love the tapioca bubble teas/smoothies! The chicken and beef hot pots are amazing! All this for two people is like $35-$40! You will have enough left over for lunch the next day. Friendly staff.

Ive never had a bad experience in this restaurant. Compared to the other Korean dining locations in the city, its meals have a homecooked feel to them. Ive brought friends and families to try them out many times, and theyve never been disappointed either. Favorites things on their menu would be their wings and soondubu.

This has been my local go-to for Korean food for many years. Other than Hmart, theres not much local competition for this restaurant. (Youd have to head up to North Philly.) Relaxed atmosphere, bit of a hole in the wall. Street parking is reasonable. Entrance is from the private parking lot, weird, I know.

I seldom write reviews but Koreana is a real favorite place of mine. Absolutely wonderful staff who treat their customers extremely well. Sad they close Mondays because for some strange reason, I would crave them most at the beginning of the week. Im gonna miss this place the most. 3

A great place for take out with decent prices and fast could counter service. The staff is friendly and willing to help you choose one of the many dishes available. This is my only experience with Korean food and Ive really enjoyed all three meals I have tried.

The bubble tea and bulgogi bowl were excellent. Good prices, especially for where it is and how much you get. The spring rolls were bland and poor texture. Took about fifteen minutes from order to getting the food, and the place was not busy. Recommended.

Been going to this spot since I was at college at Drexel. Really the only spot to get Korean food in the area. But that doesnt take away from the quality of food they provide. Definitely try out their wings and Kimchi Fried rice! Always my go to dishes!

The menu options are vast, and Ive never been disappointed in the twenty-plus times Ive been here. I get something new almost every time I go here. The service is fast, and the staff is nice. I really wish there were more restaurants like this.

Staff was very friendly and the food was fast and very delicious!!! The honeydew bubble tea is amazing. This place is an hour away from my place by public transportation and Id still gladly make the trip out to eat here!!!

This is a small place catering to Penn and Drexel students. A real good value and real tasty food. Been there twice and loved it both times. Hope to try all of the wide variety of Korean dishes available here.

Outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is limited, if you drive, bring coins for street parking as a backup. Due to proximity to Drexel and Penn, it can get suddenly very crowded. Food is authentic!

The atmosphere was very much like a neighborhood korean Dukkbokki house! It was very cute, I gave it 4/5 because the food was a little, ONLY a little lacking compared to other places Ive eaten!

pricey for what it is. flavors are not all there. Not much care felt in the food. Wont come back unless pressed. basically a disgrace to korean food and korean people. irony is the name.

Good for a quick bite. There are much better options both in the area and in other neighborhoods. The Decent Korean wings are redeeming. The undergrad scene there is a pretty big con.

Inexpensive Korean food that tastes delicious. Its self serve so you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself (part of why the food is inexpensive, since there is no service)

Its a fairly small place, so around lunch its a fairly popular place for students. The food is all great, Ive been here a half a dozen times and have never been disappointed.

I love this place. Everything on the menu is good, especially the Dolsot Bibimbap and the Kimchi Boekumbap. Highly recommended for quality, portion size, and price

Some Koreans say Koreana feels a bit more like fast-food Korean, but it tastes great and always leaves you satisfied. Have the Chicken Dolsot if you ever go.

Cheap, quick, cozy Korean food shop. Its not bad, but theres a couple of better options in the area (that are more crowded, admittedly).

Excellent service and authentic Korean fare! Indoor and outdoor dining both a bit in the "close together" style. Enjoy!
