This location for the Green Line Cafe is superior to the Baltimore Ave spot primarily because it is three times as large, so you rarely are at a loss for seating. The staff also tend to be more polite here. By and large it is a more welcoming spot. Its usually filled with students based on its location relative to student housing. Theres nothing special about your menu options. Expect what you would find at any coffee shop. Its the best one in West Philly by far, and youll find it fairly unpretentious. Enjoy local art and a variety of performance nights for things like poetry.

The first two things i ordered listed on their menu they just didnt have: soup and a breakfast burrito. So at that point they said they did have a sweet potato burrito, so i got that. It was very disappointing, a little cold on the inside. I couldnt finish it. Still, the coffee is good, and I like the staff and atmosphere. So Ill be coming again to give this place a second chance, and if Im impressed, Ill update the review.

Very cozy and genuine place. The coffee is sublime (try the macchiato, is the real thing) for American standards and the staff is really nice as well, you can see how they let police officers that are doing their turns in the night come in after hours and so. As an European with really high coffee quality standards, this is a lovely place to feel less homesick.

Great place, but they need some form of security. Every time I come, the same guy is there harassing patrons: shouting, getting in peoples faces, cursing people out. The staff can barely control him, and often times they dont even try. Ive walked in and walked right back out when I see hes there. Please make your space safe and welcoming for your patrons.

Good and inexpensive coffee. Great place to meet up or do work. Friendly and fast staff. They carry great local sandwiches that range from very tasty to tasty and vegan/veg friendly. Dont be afraid of Omar, hes part of the neighborhood and likes to help and part wisdom to everyone.

Good selection of baked goods, drinks and sandwiches. Really good vegan selection. My favorite sandwich is the Steve. There are usually two vegan muffins each day and most, if not all, of the bagels are vegan I believe. Wide range of teas and drinks. The coffee is quite good too.

Great place with good coffee and decent vegan pastry options. The internet is somewhat slow and despite the plethora of seating, its usually hard to find a vacant table. You have to try the kale and sweet potato burrito. Its only $4 but its a full sized and filing meal.

Good cafe perfectly placed for a nice cup of Joe or delicious hot chocolate after sledding, or a refreshing beverage from the many other options available when it gets hot out. This place is very popular with the locals, and is always a good experience.

Lots of places to sit, with outlets all over. Their refill policy seems to be a dollar, which is fair, especially if youre going to be sitting there for more than an hour. Their wifi policy seems odd though. I think weekends are limited in some way.

Super delicious, great portions, interesting and fun. The interior was so groovy. I loved this place and would love to return. We wished we had eaten there more than once on our trip. Very reasonably priced, almost cheap for the quality and price.

Great coffee and staff. Persistently AWFUL and unreliable internet. Would love to frequent this place more often, but I end up either at Marakeesh or Saxbys for reliable internet. E-mail to mgmt regarding issue was never responded to.

Great coffee, spacious. A good place to relax or get some work done. Their sandwiches are pre-made, but taste great heated on a panini press. Amys Donuts are the best.

Most welcoming atmosphere of any café in Philly. Great selection of teas, sandwiches, and pastries. Excellent quality, and the baristas have good taste in music.

Decent coffee, some nice food options (though theyre a tad pricey, like most coffee shops). This location is decent, but feels a bit sterile or boring.

Never had a bad experience. When I was living in UPenn/Drexel area - this was a great place to take vegan friends for a super quick bite and cup of jo

Simple atmosphere so great for studying with few distractions, unless the barista has the music turned up loudly. I enjoy the baked goods too!

Great selection of green, black, and herbal loose-leaf teas. Not too pricey and plenty of tables/booths/sofa seating areas to relax and work.

Spacious, coffee seems good. Rating is for the consistently inconsistent, horrid Wi-Fi. And I dont see any electrical outlets.

The baristas here are aloof and disrespectful. Never seen a nice one. Thats the only reason why I dont go here anymore.

The tall bald dude who works there shames people for not tipping. Its sort of weird considering its a coffee place.
