My wife and I went here because we thought it would be a fun way to spend the day in Philadelphia. I was most certainly mistaken. Ordered two dtinks from a very limited drink selection that were highly lacking in any flavor. We then proceeded to sit in the cat room to enjoy a bit of our afternoon. The guy behind the bar came in a few minutes after us and and if we had a reservation. We said no, there was a suggestion on making one on the website, not that it was required. Told us we werent allowed and to leave. No offer to help us make a reservation or when would be available; just told us we werent allowed. Called back a short time later. Told him how rude he was and asked to speak to a manager. He chuckled, said, "oh ok," refused to give his name and hung up on me without getting a manager. I dont know if this is standard operating procedures but we will never be back to this establishment.

Not what I expected. I really appreciate what theyre trying to do; but I feel theyre going about it the wrong way. They take reservations in hourly blocks, but unless you have at least eight people in your party; expect to share a small room [without adequate seating] with strangers, an employee from the shelter, and 1-12 cats. The coffee and tea options were minimal and expensive. The food did not seem appetizing, especially in a room full of flying cat fur. The nicknames for the cats are overly complicated in an attempt to make them more kawaii that ultimately fall short. The cats seem to avoid people; which is expected when youre constantly rotating different large groups of people throughout the day.

The employees here are polite and well-meaning, and the decorations are great. Sadly, I really dislike the setup. The cat area is not monitored by staff, attendees are given no rules or expectations (dont wake/bother/pick up the cats, etc.), and the Vegan food options, while present, are not mindfully served (our all-vegan spread was served with dairy whip). Customers chase, yell at, lift, and otherwise harassed the cats, and staff even encouraged them to pick up certain cats, which is really a bummer. Would happily visit again if they adopt similar rules as other cafes in North America, but not otherwise. Again, nothing against the staff, but definitely dislike the setup.

Its a lot smaller than what it seems but its decorated adorably. The guy and girl that worked there werent very warm/friendly. Ordered two smoothies that took 20 minutes. They use the excuse that they have one blender. They also advertise food on their website yet there was nothing there but Sugar laden items. The explained to me that it wasnt worth it to keep other food in stock because it went to waste. But the website should reflect that because I came hungry. Otherwise the kittens were adorable too sit with. But I dont agree with them not letting you pick them up. Part of getting to know them and adopting them is fully interacting with them.

The cats are very well behaved and the staff do a great job at making the drinks and enforcing all rules necessary. The Unicorn Hot Chocolate is to DIE FOR. Warning to those who dont like things that are super sweet, but it is the sweetest, most delicious drink ever and a lot of effort goes into making it. The only issue I have with the place is the pricing which I cant really complain about because some of the portions I believe do go to the animal rescue site where they get the cats from so thats pretty nice but I wont say this place is anywhere near cheap. The atmosphere is fun, light and perfectly comfortable

When me and my bf went into the room at around 5pm, it was steaming hot and only one fan was running. It felt like hotter than outside... They turned on the A.C. like around 20min after we got in. It looked like cats were being suffered :l.... Dont tell me they turn on the A.C. only when customers are around... When we got the sundea, it melted right away lol. It was that hot. And idk if other customers can come in and join while someones in the room, but kids came in when we were there for 35min.

This place does great things to help out cats. They try and take in older or sick cats from adoption centers and let them live outside of a cage. You can adopt one if you enjoy playing with them while you sip away at your coffee. They have all your favorite cafe selections and their food is quite good whole offering vegan options. A great place to go if you love cats or just want a good cup of coffee. Just dont expect the cats to be craving attention, they are cats after all.

Whats better than coffee and cats? This comfortable environment and attentive staff will make you want to stay all day. The cats are clearly well taken care of and happy with a variety in ages and personalities, but the best part is all the cats are adoptable. They have been very successful in doing so with 50 cats being adopted so far in only half a year of operation. This cafe is a wonderful addition to Philly! Will be visiting them again very soon.

This is the cutest cafe! I thoroughly enjoyed the appointment I had there. The kitty room is very cozy and decorated adorably. Couldnt smell any kitty pee or really anything like that, surprising since there are so many kitties. Its 8 people at a time, at a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are required, and when you arrive you need to check in up the ramp at the cafe.

Appointment required to hang out with the cats! 12 adoptable cats hang out in the cat room, separate from the cafe. You can eat in the cat room with your 12 new best fur friends or enjoy the warm atmosphere of the cafe. Staff is incredibly friendly. Adoption process is through paws and is a little stressful as it requires a phone interview and paperwork

The grand opening was fantastic! You can tell its going to be a great place. Not only were the kittens adorable, but the coffee was great and the owners were awesome! I had the pour over coffee, which Ive been wanting to learn how to do; I watched the guy do it and he even walked me through what he was doing. A wonderful experience!

I think this is a really great idea to allow people who are interested in getting a cat to interact with them first. I think the experience is a bit of a hit or miss though; sometimes the cats will be so nervous as to not want to interact with anyone and that makes for a very boring experience.

Love this idea and had a good experience overall. Only complaint was too many people allowed in one reservation. There were 10 of us in the room at one time and not enough spots to sit so half of us sat on the floor. I would recommend 6 with a max of 8 people per hour.

One of my absolute favorite places to be. I work close by and stop in at least two times a week to see all the kitties. The staff is super friendly, they have food to snack on, and their drinks are delicious and so creative. Cant show this place enough love and praise.
