Ordered 7.10.17 Absolutely hated this food! I ordered naan, chicken Korma, and samosa chaat. Let me preface this by saying I eat Indian food, a lot. I almost always order the same thing (korma) i.e. I know how it is supposed to taste. Pros: food was 10 minutes early The chick peas were well seasoned and spicy Cons: Naan was too salty. In my experience, naan tastes similar to pita bread. So, no distinct flavor other than it has little flavor. This was way too salty and hard. Didnt tear or chew easily. Chaat: new item. I know better next time (well, there wont be one at this place). It is literally a platter sized dish (re: Big AF) with ONE vegetable samosa and filled with cold chick peas. Korma: EFFING HORRIBLE! I think these people just think "dumb Americans" arent supposed to know what "authentic" Inidan food is supposed to taste like. The Korma looked unappealing and had the consistency of thickened chicken broth versus the creamy yogurt based look it should have. It was a gross green color instead of the yellow ( due to the use of turmeric and saffron) it was supposed to be. It tasted gross! Not like Indian food AT ALL!. It tasted like chicken broth after it is congealed and been reheated with some jelly like parts left over. Anywho, I immediately called customer service and the woman (Rachelle/Rochelle) was nice. She empathized and told me she would call the restaurant to ask for a refund for me, which was appreciated. She called back and stated after a few calls and waiting, the restaurant was not willing to refund me because "thats just how they prepare it". So I lost my 30 bucks but was compensated with a coupon from GH. so, they wont replace my money, thats ok. They can just get a bad review on EVERY platform. Moral of the story: the food and customer service at this place IS TERRIBLE!

Too pricey for serving size, flavors are an overall disappointment. I ordered a few dishes as a test, Im happy to try anywhere once. I got the vegetable samosas, tikka masala and vindaloo. The sauces for both the tikka and the vindaloo were a bit watery in consistency, but the rice soaks it up a bit and its ok. The samosas, rice, and tikka were fine, although nothing spectacular. The vindaloo was awful. It’s 90% of the reason Im writing this. Ive had vindaloo other places in Philly and I never paid that much money for small servings and been so disappointed. I asked for a medium spice, since it was my first time ordering. There was no spice at all, it tasted like they watered down the sauce with apple cider vinegar, it smelled like it too. I was very disappointed, but I didnt get the chance to speak with management because I ordered too close to closing. I can only hope this was a one off on their part, but given the prices I dont think Id ever be willing to risk it again.

Dan: My wife, Rachel, and I live around the corner from this place. We had a very good experience! The food was well prepared and spiced, excellent ambience, friendly and helpful staff. I had the lamb tikka masala, medium spice and it was very good. The staff give you the option of choosing your spice level; mild, medium, spicy, and very spicy. I may get my next dish mild spiced. The lamb was tender and was able to hold its own in a very flavorful sauce. Great music! Will be back! Rachel: Delicious. The fish biryani with green masala is wonderfully spiced and presented very nicely. I recommend that once you try the rice and raita separately, blend them together to fully appreciate all of the flavors. There are some traditional dishes, but the overall feel is fusion. A very warm and inviting place. Well definitely be back!

Update. Picture proof that we had to order pizza because we were unable to eat this awful biryani with unchewable dark black lamb. The worst briyani Ive ever had. The meat was awful and insanely hard to chew. This cant even be considered briyani, its just a combination of over spiced rice and hard meat. On top of this, the customer service is absolutely terrible. I called and politely asked for a replacement so we could still have our dinner, the lady on the line hung up saying she would talk to the manager about it. However, they never returned the call and when we called back they refused to give us a refund or replace our food. We just ordered the food from another place to have our dinner. We will dispute the charges through our bank now. Easy to say we will never be getting food from this restaurant again.

I went to this restaurant and ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Kabob and Naan. My biggest issue is that the non was saltier than a Philly Pretzel. My next issue was that the Lamb Kabob tasted liked dried cardboard with hot pepper. It actually looked like it too. My third issue is that the Butter Chicken wasnt too great. It was actually the highlight of the meal but I have had wayyy better. My question now is how do you mess up Naan bread. Ugh they will never see my business again. My first red flag should have been the sign they have by the register that say no returns after purchase.

Good for Chiken/Lamb dishes ! -------------------------------------------------------------- The Biriyani are awesome. Very friendly & polite staff. Price is right. Home delivery takes 20-25 min. Food is always hot and served in good packaging, they offer cash/card or online ordering. Interior is great. Pros : Good ambience, spice levels selection, Non veg dishes. Cons : Its a big let down for Vegetarians. All the veg curries sweet (Oh no !) and all curries taste same. Avoid bhindi at all costs, Veg biriyani and rice are good !

Being vegetarian, we go to many Indian restaurants, and this is the tastiest weve been too! The samosas have REAL herbs and flavor and the wattatta is outstanding! The Korma is rich and creamy, full of flavor and does not taste like a carton of heavy cream. Very balanced flavor and spice (we ordered spicy (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and it is perfect if you like spice without melting your face. Cant wait to go there again... TOMORROW!!??

Terrible service. I live just a block away.they told me it would only take a few moments. After an hour I called in and she said he would be at my house in a few. He finally showed up after hour and a half with cold food and warm soda. I tried to call back several times and my call was never answered and their voicemail was full. Terrible customer service when they are not being truthful.

Every thing I have tried here has constantly been awesome, the Briyanis are the Bomb along with having the best Tikka Masala, Samosa and the Nan. Lately they are also offering some great New York Chicken over Rice, Falafel and Kebab Over Rice do give it a try they are very good too.

Please, please save your money and eat somewhere else. Im just updating my previous review. Check for my previous review. I also attached some pictures to proof. Do yourself a huge favor and dont go or order this place. Im highly doubtful those good reviews are fake.

Not great food, but not horrible. Definitely not the Indian taste/seasoning I have experienced in the past. Server was polite. Food brought to the table quickly. I probably will not return. There has got to be better Indian in Philadelphia.
