Let me start by saying that I eat a lot of Indian food. I decided to try out Tiffin and I made a big mistake. Cons: 1. The Saag Paneer was SPOILED!!! 3 people instantly said it after they tasted it and smelled it. Warning sign was that the Saag paneer had a lemon/lime taste to it. I just realized that they were probably trying to freshen it up or trying to cover up the spoiled smell. Highly disappointed!! 2. The naan was chewy 3. The rice was plentiful but it was nothing special 4. The raita was watered down. 5. They gave some dal curry(I think) It was only filled up quarter of the way in the container. I didnt order it I guess they just added it. Pros: 1. Nice looking place but we had takeout. 2. Order processed fast-(a little suspicious) We were so disappointed that Im not even going to give this business another chance. We did contacted Tiffin and let them know but I dont think anyone listened or cared!

Anyone who said this place isnt good is not telling the truth! The food was great, the service was decent, and when I went the place was packed. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. if you like it a little more spicy...JUST ask them!! I was happy with ti the way it was made but they make it according to specifications so if you dont tell them how you want it how would they know?? And the prices were not bad at all. Ive been to many indian restaurants that claim to be authentic and charge upwards of $17.00 for this dish. The food was great, prices were great and I cant wait to go back

The food is delicious! Our first time trying it was at the Girard location. Was thrilled when we found one closer to us. For those who want to try Indian cuisine but arent sure what to order, I would suggest starting out with the "Chicken Tikka Misala" chicken chunks in a creamy tomato curry. Its like an upgraded tomato soup. You can request what spice level youd like. (Start mild to medium if you arent sure). We eat here 2-3 times a month. The location itself isnt very large, but offers a nice ambiance and invites "BYOB".

After waiting an hour for my order tonight I called Tiffin and they said it would be another 45 minutes, however, they would take 20%. This was a nice gesture so I said "sure, why not". Then they go on to say they dont have an item I ordered, so we replaced it, no big deal, THEN they say they dont deliver to my address even though they have in the past. After waiting over an hour and being told of multiple issues we didnt even get dinner. Never again will I order from them or stop into their restaurants.

Good, well presented and packaged take out. The delivery has always been very fast and courteous. The food has actually been some of the best Indian Ive ever had in the Philly area, especially for an "inexpensive" place. Thats the downside here ...they are a bit pricey for what you get. I feel like they are about 15% overpriced. That said, Ive never had a bad meal there, and friends agree that the food is extremely consistent. I guess youd expect that from a chain, though.

Don not believe the fake good reviews; they were obviously posted by the owner. The frozen Indian food from supermarkets is fresher than this rotting pig slop which costs ten times more. At least they do not charge extra for the nasty, rude service. Only come here if you like to be abused, wait for an hour, and get HORRIBLE "food".

If you really want to try any dish, you better visit and have it there, Online prices are offers are competitive but doesnt tastes good. I wonder how the same dish tastes so bad when Im ordering to go. Service is ok but not definitely great. I could have rated high if they maintain same quality for delivery as well.

I called on a Sunday afternoon to try and make a reservation for next Saturday night considering the reviews I read about lines. I was told "just come" I said it is for Saturday night. He said just come goodbye. Either you take reservations or not but dont just blow off a potential customer with just come.

This is my first time trying Indian food. It was delicious. I went there with my boyfriend to try some Indian food, when we get into the restaurant it was smelling so good. I tried Chicken Korma and he tried some Tandoor item. We just cant get enough of this food.

We got take out & it was a 15 minute wait. The Goan fish was excellent in every way. The onion Bbaji(?) we didnt like. Great Jasmine rice. The Tandoori chicken appetizer was a liitte dry and the lentils appetizer was nice. We will visit again.

This establishment is highly overpriced for what it is and serves very small portions. It takes advantage of lack of competition and uses this as an excuse to provide a poor product at a large markup. The food is passable, but not worth it.

Approachable Indian food for the suburbanites. Basic and consistent - with rotating specials. The navrattan korma should not be missed. Always, add an extra rice to takeout orders as the masalas and curries go a long way.

The naan was cold. Chicken biryani didnt taste as good and the rice pudding had no sugar at all. But the chili chicken and the chicken malai tikka were really good. A little expensive.I wouldnt go back.

Great food. If there is a problem they work to fix it. Oh, and great food. I have been there many times in the past 3 years and the food is consistently good. Have not been disappointed.

the food is simply delicious. Its a bit small from inside, but nothing matters when you have excellent food in front of you.

Nice Indian option in the suburbs. Overpriced a bit but we always seem to go home with a nice amount of leftovers.

Nice environment and good quality food. Prices dont match the quantity of food you receive. Bit too pricey

Everything tasted good. Nothing was overly spicy and the curries each had subtle but complex flavorings.
