Went to Grub Burger Bar with my family that was visiting. I had heard really great things and was super excited to try it. We all ordered and I am pregnant so I ordered my burger well done. The rest ordered them medium well. I ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake-it was delicious! When our food arrived, I bit into my burger and it was completely undercooked inside. My family investigated their burgers and found that they were all raw. Not just medium rare-still mushy pink, raw meat. We sent them back and the girl who took our order apologized numerous times and brought back cards for a free meal next time. We had ordered them to go this time since we had already been there for a while. I asked them to make sure mine is EXTRA well done as raw and undercooked meat is a no no during pregnancy. We waited about 20 more minutes and she brought them back over and we left to go home. Once we arrived at home, we saw that they put our exact same burgers that we had all bitten into back on the grill to cook more. They were all now burnt on the outside and still very uncooked inside. Im not sure if their grills werent working properly, or if the cook was just off their game, but it was really disappointing. I know they gave us free meal cards, but I dont really want to risk my health to try it again. Also, Im fairly certain you are not supposed to put food someone has put in their mouth back on a grill. I was really hoping it would be delicious, but I honestly cant tell you because I couldnt eat my sandwich anyway. Too bad because their milkshakes were amazing and the girl that took our orders was really nice. The fries also seemed tasty. Bummer!

Took my family of 4 here for the first time for dinner and 3 of us got sick! My husband, son & daughter ordered burgers. When we got home my two kids said they felt nauseated and that their burgers were almost raw. My daughter didnt even eat more than a few bites of her burger because of this; but my son was hungry and ate most of his. Needless to say, he got home and went to bed with a bucket, saying he thought he might be sick. I had the ahi tuna salad and mentioned that I could not have garlic or onion (food allergy). The person who took my order suggested the balsamic vinegrette instead. The ahi tuna was barely seared on one side. I ate a bit but it just tasted raw, so i didnt eat much of it. I also felt ill. Then I realized that something in my salad must have had garlic in it, because I could smell/taste it on my breath - no wonder... Sorry, but we will not be eating here again. Oh and our meal with tip came to over $60 - for a counter-order meal!

Let me start off by saying this, the shakes, fries, service, and atmosphere was all good. BUT i bought a burger, as this places main selection is primarily burger. I got the bacon burger, and i can say without a doubt it was the worst burger ever. The bun and toppings were solid, but the meat was awful. It was a 1/2 inch thick burger, slightly undercooked, and soaked in grease. Not even good grease, it was without flavor. The meat was mush, i would compare it to wet paper towels. I would never order a burger from here again. The burger was awful based solely on the quality of beef and cooking/preperation method. It put a damper on the whole experience. JUST DONT GET A BURGER HERE

Went with my wife here last weekend and the service was horrible, We sat at the bar and the bartender barley spoke to us. Seemed like she didnt want to be there. Ordered my burger well done, came out bright red/barely cooked in the middle, I didnt want to bother her and have her roll her eyes at me so I ate it anyway causing me to spend the rest of the night in the bathroom. Next time I will get in my car and drive to Fridays and at least have a decent meal and maybe a smile out of the staff. Only ended up here because it was raining and we were already in the mall. Skip this place - Nothing special.

Official Burger Quest Stop 1 I got the Guacapotle burger; the burger was flavorful, the toppings were all fresh or well made, the bun had a good consistency (meaning it didnt fall apart mid meal and held the burger together well, but didnt have an overly harsh texture). The burger itself was a hearty thickness, it might be too thick for some. The overall structure didnt fall apart easily either. The atmosphere was also great. Very clean and interesting music. Fries were not particularly crispy, was not a huge fan. I would recommend it. Full score: 4.3/5

I just left here. I hate to give a bad review but I didnt even get to eat here because the guy working there never acknowledged us. We came in and sat ourselves because no one was around and it seemed that is what you needed to do. The only guy there never came. We moved seat closer to him, he still never came. Eventually I got up and got.my own menu. Waiting about 20 minutes he never said hi, nothing. There were about 3 or 4 couples eating, not too busy. He went to the kitchen and started cleaning silverware still.no acknowledgement. Had to leave

Looked like a great place to eat and probably is on another day, but we went and got 2 burgers, they came out completely undercooked, mushy, pink, not hot but kinda Luke warm and gross in the middle. we didnt finish more than half of it. The burger with a milkshake and fries costed about 20 dollars, not including the tip. Probably not going here again. Staff was friendly however. Check your burger meat before you eat them here, it looks like we werent the only ones who experienced raw food here.

Near gourmet burgers at gourmet prices. Saving grace is the ability to get alcoholic milkshakes. Its a good thought to be able order how pink you want the meat to be when its brought to the table but the execution has been hit or miss. They have a long list of different burgers but honestly their simplest burger may actually be their best burger. I wouldnt hesitate bringing people here for a better burger, but I wouldnt go out of my way either.

Such a wonderful restaurant. My fiance and I stopped in for dinner just expecting your typical burger restaurant. This place was anything but traditional. We both got their turkey burger which was absolutely delicious. We couldnt have asked for any better service either. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely want to go back and try some of their shakes which looked out of this world!

My family of 4 and I are just sat down for lunch we paid 48$!!!!!! The kids meal comes with drinks but of coarse the kids want milk shakes. They offer no price adjustment so now I have paid full price for two milk shakes, full price for 2 kids meals and have 2 drinks no one will drink. Last time Im coming here! This is all before we got our food and I want get our money back and leave.

When their burgers are good, theyre really good. My family and I are big fans of the Lockhart burger, and the Texas Luau. The luau fries are really good. They usually have a decent beer selection. The service is good. Te only problem is that their food is not always consistent sometimes the burgers are over cooked, sometimes they taste delicious and sometimes theyre just "meh".
