I had went to Lins with my boyfriend not once but twice, the first time was not all that great but absolutely disappointing the second time. It might also depend on who you have as a waiter/ waitress and who is cooking. The experience was not all that great for these reasons: •Our waitress did not greet, and was not friendly either •Asked my boyfriend to move while sitting and eating to fill the napkin dispenser •Did not take used dishes, table was extremely cluttered •Brought check while in middle of eating •Stood waiting for payment for 15 minutes while eating AND WOULDNT GO AWAY!! •Only said thank you when payment was accepted, not even when she made my boyfriend move out of the way to fill the napkin dispenser. •I had asked the man who was making the sushi what was in the one roll, he ended up yelling across what was in it (as if I could hear when other people were talking) and I told him it was good and he looked at me and continued making other rolls, didnt say thank you or acknowledge the complement.

If I could give zero stars I would. 1. The food is awful, the Asian dishes are full of grease. Every thing tastes exactly the same like grease. The fired chicken is dried out and tastes bland, the cheese sticks were stale, I could go on and on. 2. The buffet area is dirty, and so are the employees tending it, I watched one employee blow his nose multiple time then proceed to touch food without washing his hands. 3. The waitresses are rude, if they decide you are taking too long they will try to persuade you to pay the check and leave. I had my check basically thrown at me. I would have not tipped but after looking around I realized that the wait staff is probably worked to death. Not one person looked happy at all. Best not to go here unless youre just looking to fill up on as much bland and nasty food as possible for about 20$

Content diners fill the space on a Saturday afternoon, circling the oval-shaped buffet area, choosing between the standard assortment of mediocre sort of warm dishes. Will they chose gummy General Tsos Chicken, honey chicken, pulled pork, hot wings, or tempt fate at the hibachi bar. The newly opened space is nice, with dark colors and plenty of seating. There is a chocolate fountain with marshmallows to enrobe. But there is also dried out white rice, duck sauce with much flavor (one thing I thought impossible to mess up) and the depressing idea that for many, this is the most exotic food theyve eaten. Basically, your standard South Central PA buffet that charges a dollar more.

I love buffets. I try as much as I can. I compare crabragoons, sushi selection, hot and sour soup as my base sampling. The crabragoons are sweeter like sugary compared to authentic. The hot and sour soup is excellent, a bit more sour here. The sushi selection was horrible. Overall, I wont come back. But if you like crab they offer plenty it comes in many prepaid styles including blue and snow crab legs. Because of this the rest of the selections are not as quality a an could be. It is average at best.

While there is good turn over of food due the giant people eating giant amounts of food, dont go for crab legs as they dont stock them no matter how crowded and anything shrimp based on the buffet has not been cleaned or deveined. Take a look at your shrimp....Full of shrimp crap. If you enjoy eatting uncleaned seafood....Enjoy. Stay away from the chocolate fountain....I watched the staff see three kids coughing into it and did nothing. Its a buffet so dont expect it to be clean or classy.

I had a very terrible experience, but it depends on when you go and who your server is. This was my second visit, and my last. My problems this time are as listed : Did not greet, not friendly either Asked me to move while sitting and eating to fill the napkin dispenser Did not take used dishes, table was cluttered Brought check while in middle of eating Stood waiting for payment for 15 minutes while eating Only said thank you when payment was accepted

Where did my previous review go? Well I am posting another solid review here. Ive been here many times over, and it is always super tasty-from the pork chops to the shrimp & seafood-full tummy and worth the money every time. I have recently tried the East Shore location, and same tasty goods there, only that one is a little smaller than the Mechanicsburg-here-location, which is quite huge. BOTH LOCATIONS-Superb food, all one can eat, and worth the price!

Great buffet! Very reasonably priced and open late, even on Sunday. BYOB. Everything you can imagine is available here and its always fresh. Snow crab legs, Hibachi, sushi, squid, Maryland Blue crabs, even raw oysters. Plenty of entrees available for anyones liking. Salad bar is fresh and stocked with many options. Chocolate fountain and 12 flavors of ice cream for dessert, along with a selection of pies and other sweets.

The place had great service and was very clean. The only decent food in the place was the Hersheys ice cream and the grill where he could grill up your food. Generals chicken was OK. All the fried food was really bad. Fish average and not seasoned well. Food was not seasoned or if it was it was seasoned with the wrong thing. Not the worst asian buffet we have ever been to, but it is in top 5 worst. We were hopeful.

Ive ate here many times on the weekend with family get together a and food is usually very fresh and hot but today was just all together gross..... Food was cold, we wasted more then we actually ate..... one of the waitresses was refilling ice cream and had the whole bucket leaned over on the floor very unsanitary maybe due to it being a slow week day the food sucked I know I wont be back unless its a weekend

We loved Lin Buffet and thought it was our new go to for chinese buffet, every meal had been good, until the last time we were here and had the General Tsos It tasted like burnt plastic and we were both immediately so sick after the first taste we had to leave. Horrible doesnt even begin to describe it and we havent been back since. Ruined Chinese for us for a long time! Be very careful

Paid with a credit card and didnt put anything in the tip section because I had cash to give our waitress (because cash is always better, right). She felt the need to "remind" us that the tip wasnt included in the bill and "just wanted us to know so she made sure she got a tip". I felt like I was being asked for a tip. Needless to say, I HAD cash to give her. Food was good otherwise.

Not always the cleanest place. However the food here is amazing! But I will admit that the price for this place is rather high. The staff tries to check up on you, but sometimes it is a little difficult because of how busy it can get. Overall I still enjoy eating here, its just not something that I could really do like ever week.

For 2 adults and one child under 10 it comes to $43. Inside it is open and relaxed. They have a unique way of lighting the back wall. The back wall has a massive design that is lit up by multi color lights that gradually change. They keep the food stocked up and have a wide variety of foods.
