I am happy to see a new diner in the outlets area after losing Bob Evans! My husband and tried it. Nice menu of options and good prices. We had to wait at least 10 minutes after being seated before anyone came to us and that was only after getting a bus person to get the waitress for us. The waitress was personable and apologized for the delay. She took our order and the meals came out in an average length of time. My chicken sandwich was as ordered. However, I was concerned that the bag of chips was laying directly on top of the piece of chicken. That was a bit annoying as it made the bag messy AND I did not like thinking what grime was on the chip bag that was then on the chicken breast! Please consider better sanitary precautions! I was also disappointed I could not swap the chips for another side such as applesauce w/o paying extra. May want to consider doing something besides bagged chips- maybe create your own chips with slight seasoning on them that are made on premises? Otherwise, the meal was good. We do plan to give it another try next time we are in the area this summer.

Horrible! I mean, how in the world can you mess up a pancake? Well, they did! I ordered a short stack. Just 2 plain pancakes. Well, I had to use a knife to cut just one! even then, it was hard to cut. It was so hard and flat but I gotta say, stuck with me all day! My husband ordered eggs over EASY corned beef hash and toast. Now, the hash and toast were fine, they actually toasted the bread and not just warmed it as has been our experience out here. The coffee was good, but his eggs, like my pancakes were HARD! I mean, come on! where do you get your cooks from? They cant even make a pancake or fried egg? To be fair, our server was very nice! Very attentive and polite. But we will not be back. Its too bad because places to eat breakfast are few and far between.

If I could they wouldnt have one star. My experience was horrible, our waitress treated us like crap didnt even give us a chance to explain our drinks and we were told by her to hurry up because she has other people ahead of us and she never served our drinks. We decided to leave and not stay and on our way out we talked to others leaving because of service and cooks on the line having dirty shirts and car grease under thier nails and fingers. Another said that they have been waiting an hour and when asking for thier timing on meal they got attitude from thier server instead.

Horrible experience.....very RACIST.... We waited for 40 minutes after our order was taken. Then they waitress came back to tell us that our order was not placed, every one else order was placed but us. People who came in way after us were already eating. We were the only black family in the restaurant. Manager and staff tried to play it off like they were not RACIST. Our family left after notifying them how we felt about their poor service. We will NEVER go back there.....just Horrible Racist service. Its a shame that we had to deal with this type of racism in 2017.

Low quality food & slow; but friendly service. The Stuffed Pancakes Rollups were filled with a basic strawberry pie filling that tasted as if it was straight from a can, very dense and sticky..the pancakes themselves were dry...prepackaged pancake mix. The husband had the Ruben Sandwich, bread was half toasted, low quality rubbery meat, very small skimpy sandwich, fries tasted as if they were shipped in from a local school lunch line. Both meal presentations left little to be desired. Will not return.

Two things here... #1 Had chicken cordon blu - big mistake, rubbery as all hell #2 My man ordered a burger and it came with a bag of chips... a bag like wtf? also he wanted fries and the waitress said they dont let you upcharge for fries you have to buy them outright, so he did and she brought the plate out with just the fries and no bag of chips, like your going to charge us full price for fries but not bring out the chips i dont think so... Will not make the mistake of going back there again...

Had to try it and will not be back. Packaged muffins as i walk in in the case should of been a sign that nothing is homemade. Worst part was the fake eggs they used in my omelette they were gross and so yellow amd rubbery. My husband had a burger, 1/4 pound really mcdonalds is bigger and please dont ever stick dirty chip bags on top of my food again or anyone elses, just gross. Will not be back. We love real diners and this is not one its a restaurant not a diner.

We both got the chicken stuffed with broccoli & cheese w/ mashed potatoes and rice. The mash potatoes were sour. Come to find out the chef couldnt find chicken stock so he used lemon. So then we got Brussel sprouts in place of potatoes. The Brussel sprouts and rice were both over cooked. The manager tried the potatoes and gagged. All we got off the bill was 20%. If you gagged why would you only give 20% off. We wont go back.

I was there on the diner July 19 at around 1120. I ordered a Turkey ruben, Not good, !st of all ruben comes with ither sour dough bread or rye, This was on white bread an it was very soggy, An top it all off a bag of chips, Ive always got fries with a rubem, An Chips was brickles never heard of them. Not even a choice , Would i go back NO

Place used to be Bob Evans. We had been there 4 times and always breakfast was served cold so gave up. Decided to give the new owners of the now called Rockvale Diner a try and sorry to say still terrible. Asked for crispy bacon & home fries both were under cooked. The pancakes needed a steak knife to cut them and also terrible. Wont be back!

Worst diner I have ever eaten at..service was beyond terrible,food was terrible. It took 50 minutes to get our order after sitting there for 20 minutes. The server had the personalty of a grape, the "manager" was walking around in a daze like see not cares in the world. Bottom line it was terrible all the way around.

Very racist place they said that our order didnt go through after 40 mins of waiting..the waiter tried to blame it on the printer which was a lie because she wrote everything down..they did their racism on the low...i hate that my family and boyfriend had to experience this. money is one color green!!!!

Been here quite a few times now. They have local diners beat out the food is delicious, servers are nice and the atmosphere is welcoming and calm. Come here, dont hike to other spots if youre traveling theyre right in lancaster and their food beats what other places ive been to (and thats a lot)

quite a nice diner, i even heard the food was really good as well, also im only giving 4 because we were never greeted and the employees took awhile to seat us but and some of the food took awhile but they did apologize for the inconvenience but other than that its a pretty good restaurant
