This place is phenomenal and I cant wait to come back! Chef Stephen put together a tasting menu for us including braised lamb, shishito peppers, a double cheeseburger, and other fantastic dishes; each well-executed and seasoned masterfully. LGK represents an evolution of the food scene in Norfolk and surrounding areas, and the prospect of this continued growth makes me very excited; especially as someone who calls Virginia his home state. The braised lamb neck was probably the most delicious preparation of lamb that Ive ever had, but the turnips served alongside them (cooked simply with salt, butter, and fresh thyme) were even better! I was very impressed overall, and would trust this team of chefs completely regardless of what they are cooking from Stephens ever-changing menu. A mainstay dish on their menu is a deviled egg spread served with ritz crackers rather than within the white of an egg. Its simple and brilliant, and Ive yet to see it anywhere else.

This is our favorite Norfolk restaurant. We have been going since it opened and have never had a bad experience. The food is amazing. The staff are helpful. The environment is warm and inviting. There are always interesting farm to table options. You have to be willing to try new things, but your courage is generally rewarded. The hamburger is the best Ive ever had and can easily be shared as an appetizer or for desert. The one draw-back we have found is that the actual desserts are often mediocre/underwhelming. Nonetheless, we go back often and love it and will continue on a regular basis.

There must be magic at work in this restaurant. I had one of the best meals of my life last night! My husband and I went to check out LeGrand Kitchen after many friends telling us we had to go. We got there and they were packed, but we were determined to eat there. We waited about 30 minutes and were seated at the bar. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. You can tell they pay great attention to their customers. The food is outstanding. (Somehow I never finished this review from over a year ago. I still stand by my review!)

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Hands down one of the best restaurant in Hampton Roads and absolutely the best burger in the state! The staff is always very accommodating and friendly. The menu changes constantly so there is always some new to choose from and you will never be disappointed. Once you visit LeGrand, you will become a regular. Starts, mains, desserts are all the best around. Keep up the amazing work, there is some serious culinary genius at LeGrand that this area is craving!

I love coming here. They work wonders in the kitchen and can tempt anyone to try something new. Their menu features food that you wont see anywhere else, but also isnt something youd have to work up the courage to try. They inspire me to be a better cook at home because I know if I ruin a dish, I can always come here and have someone else make it.

We stayed here for one night prior to heading back home. The customer service was outstanding. The room was also fabulous and the beds were comfortable. There are some lights that are not working properly in the parking lot. There is also road construction in front of the hotel and the main entrance to hotel is closed off.

I like this place but its so small - we went there on one occasion and had to go somewhere else because there was no room for our party of 6! However, I will say this - when we got a chance to eat the food everything was delicious. Go if you can but dont be shocked if you have to wait or end up going somewhere else.

Hands down the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten. My wife and I drive down from Richmond when we get a craving for a cheeseburger date night. All of their food is wonderful. We love the "just the smear" and rockfish pate that they have as appetizers. It is very small so wait times can be bad around 7pm.

This unique little joint is like getting a dinner and a show in one! Sit at the bar so you can watch them make your food. This is a foodies dream! Pretty casual, but upscale prepared food. Unique garnishes like pickled blueberries and smoked peanut grace the menu and surprise the palate.

REALLY good food. Went there on a date night with my wife. They had a 15 minute wait. So we walked down the street and grabbed a drink while we waited. Well worth the wait. Staff is friendly and food was fantastic.

Visited No Frill Grill for lunch last week. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. I got a pulled pork Bar-B-Que sandwich with a slice of ham on a sub bun. Not what I think of as a Cuban. Usually I like this restaurant,
