My experience at Knight and Day Diner was beyond the best "diner" experience I have ever had. The interior is stunning, the food is excellent and the servers go above and beyond. I had stopped in after a long shift at work, roughly around midnight last week expecting mediocre service as it was the middle of the night. I expected wrong, the overnight staff were amazing. They greeted me with a smile and they were very welcoming. There were two female servers working that night and I believe they deserve recognition as the best servers I have come across so far. I believe my servers name was Kate or possibly Kat. Im not entirely sure. However the other woman working did not hesitate to chat with me and make me feel equally as welcomed. On to the food - I ordered a Greek Gyro and Crock of French Tomato soup. The soup was amazing and again well above my expectations. As for the Gyro? I have not had a Gyro that amazing in years! I highly recommend Knight and Day Diner and will most certainly return every time I am in the area.

I will concur with many others on here that the portion sizes are generous, yet I will add that the prices (especially considered the amount of food you get) are pretty reasonable. I come semi-regularly, and cant remember a problem with the staff or an issue with the food that was significant enough to bring to their attention. I have my favorite dishes (currently eating open-faced roast beef sandwich with gravy and fries [and gravy on the fries!]). Every time I get it, the roast beef is so tender.. And they make their own gravy. They are doing something right in the kitchen, unlike your standard diner that is just heating up food that is prepared who knows how long ago en masse. Bright, clean environment with accommodating seating available for any size group. No, I dont work for them! Im just a very satisfied customer :)

Granted, peak time may not be Wednesday evening at 6 but it was a delightfully quick and courteous experience. The staff was all moving quickly and efficiently, from the hostess to the busboys. Our server was pleasant and attentive without hovering. Its the first time Ive had a server apologize for bringing the food too quickly! The food was good and portions were generous. We were in, seated, and back out the door with full bellies plus ledtovers for lunch in about 45 minutes. Also of note: the whole place, imcluding the restrooms, seemed very clean. A completely positive experience and well stop back if were in the area again.

I dont like warehouse dining. The sound of voices and plates and cups an dishes bounding off the walls forming a cacophony of raw sound is not conducive to good dining. While recent modifications have cut it down from airplane hangar to warehouse level it is still not my choice for dining. The food is good but the prices have slid up measurably in the recent past. I take the family here because of the big booths and the friendly staff. And besides all that you would think they would give a family discount to someone named Knight.

A nice, large open restaurant with a good selection of food. The host was very friendly and our meals were delicious. They have a limited breakfast menu after 11 am, but I was able to get a cheese omelette with hash browns and scrapple. Not many places carry scrapple and this was browned on the outside just the way I like it. Be wary though if you cant have gluten. I suspect the french fries and home fries may have had flour, but I didnt ask, so I cant be sure. If you have celiac sprue, you may want to inquire first.

Service was terrible! We told our waitress We were ready to order but she walked away and took other peoples orders who came in after our group. They were served before us and even left before we got our food. I asked for cheese for my French onion soup because there wasnt any on it and instead of bringing it, the waitress was on her phone and never brought it. I watched our waitress pick up toast with her hand that had fallen on her tray and plop it on the persons plate right in front of them! Food was just ok.

If I could put less than one star i would because this place gave me, my fiance and a friend of ours our food with all three having hair in the food and we complained the manager attempted to justify it but just failed as he pulled out the hair himself. When he finally took the food back we did not want anymore of the food from there and to add insult to injury he only took off about 2 dollars off a 30 to 35 dollar check. The only good thing was the waitress. Never going back to this disgusting place.

This is the epitome of how a business should be ran. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. The service is beyond compare to many other places. The menu is extensive and varied and the food is great!! Our family of five has eaten there twice now and cannot wait to return. Tonight we are taking home cheesecake baklava since we were too full to have dessert there, it looks amazing! I wish Knight and Day Diner years of success.

Went last night and ordered salmon and shrimp scampi.... Let me very clear.... this was one of, if not the worst meal I have attempted to eat at a restaurant. It was overcooked shrimp with salmon in an overpoweringly lemon flavored gelatinous goop. It was terrible, made me sick to my stomach. The only reason, I am giving them 2 stars is because of the staff.... they were great....but I dont think I will be going back there again.

Some real surprises on the menu, not your typical diner fare! And portions tend to be overly generous. (Is that a bad thing?) I usually get the chicken fried steak breakfast, and I never can finish it. I end up taking the steak home, and thats lunch! Two meals for under $9. I once had prime rib (at a DINER?!?!?!) and it was GREAT! Our total bill for two has never been over $35 and great food to boot! Dont pass this place by!!!

Las instalaciones son de primera. Atención rapida. La orden llega en tiempo record. Juegos didacticos para niños. Mientras esperas la orden. Gran variedad de platos postres. Muy bueno.

I got a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was absolutely disgusting. I was with a client so I just ate the lettuce. When I paid the manager asked me how I liked everything, I said I really didnt want to complain but the chicken was horrible. He argued with me and told me it was fresh and I should have liked it. So much for wanting feedback. Last time I go here.

This is my absolute favorite diner. I have watched this diner transform from an authentic Italian restaurant to a Greek styled diner and back to an Italian themed establishment. This diner, throughout the transformations, maintained the SAME cook. Every visit, I would order a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese croissant and hash browns. Deliciously fluffy and toasted.

Wonderful diner with an amazingly huge menu. You could get almost anything you wanted here. Portion sizes were very large (I was unable to finish my bigger and fries for the first time recent memory) and the prices were really amazing for what you get. I absolutely recommend stopping here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner(all in the same day too).
