I had to log on here and defend Karns from the slanderers. A local for 10+ years, Ivs shopped everywhere around town. I live closer to Giant then Karns but Karns is my go to for certain products. Unbeatable organic selection and select others. To anybody bootlegging for wifi. There is a public library with free access right up the road. 10 min walking distance. You dont even have to rent books courteously to use it! Oh my gosh! Also, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. If youve never worked in retail you wouldnt know what systems could be run off of a stores wifi. Some stores have internet, which can be exclusively wi-fi enabled, whose servers replicate information back up to corporate daily. As ridiculous as it would be to log onto to google+ to complain about free wifi, I had to make my first post ever to refute a nonsensical complaint. Next time the dish of free lollipops is empty, Ill make a note to log on and vent. Gosh darn it, any promise of free service having fallen through is reasonable grounds to discredit a business. [scoffs] Secondly, Dont mislead yourself to think there is a liquor store in Kmart, nor does the company govern the shopping center there. There is, correctly, a state liquor store right next to Kmart. It does happen to be the only nearby liquor supply open.. A WHOLE HOUR LATER than all the others. hahah. But seriously it is a lifesaver sometimes. But it does not beat a liquor store located in Karns where you can get more ingredients after buying your booze. Between the two stores, they have similar stock and differing.. So the wiser to ya to know which has which. Karns is a wonderful store. Locals might be privileged to know they carry exclusive products not found anywhere else in the immediate Hershey area. Its no Giant, but they easily compete. Ive been far more dissatisfied with Giant then Karns. Karns points, while not good for gas, never expire. Shop Karns!

Went in to their market place to use their Wi-Fi. Purchased some food and beverage out of respect. Went to use Wi-Fi...it didnt work. I asked the lady at the counter if she could reset the router since that usually fixes the IP address problem. Lady said I would have to go to the customer service desk. So I did that. The girl at the customer service desk said she would have to get a manager. Manager Skip comes along. Looked like he was about 70 years old and informed me he would need authorization from corporate to do so. How stupid do they think I am. AUTHORIZATION TO TURN-OFF AND TURN ON A ROUTER. Thats like saying "I need authorization to turn off a printer. Never again will I shop there. If youre going to offer a service make sure you have someone knowledgeable who can provide it. Ended up driving to Giant where the Wi-Fi seems to work all the time. If you read this Karns, please replace your current manager with someone who doesnt lie and actually knows something about routers.

Its one of two stores in the area where you can get fresh meat. (If there are others, I dont know about them) Their meat isnt packaged in a warehouse somewhere they do it right there on site so its fresh and their prices are not much different than the pre-packed stuff. A lot of times theirs is even lower! Also they have a great variety of produce, including locally grown, very friendly employees, decent deals and a state store to complete your shopping.

I would suggest to the previous poster to go to Starbucks and get a Latte if his only reason for patronizing Karns is to mooch off their WiFi. Personally, I appreciate Karns dedication to encourage a healthy lifestyle and am blessed to have a food store local to our campground that offers fresh local produce and healty organic selections. Keep up the good work Karns, word of mouth is the best advertisment and Im telling EVERYONE I meet about your store.

Karns never ceases to amaze me. It has a wide variety of options, both local and mainstream, at hard to beat prices. The deli is a great place to grab a cheap hot or cold lunch (including fairly decent sushi), the produce is always fresh, and the butchers know what theyre doing. I also like that there is a dry cleaner and a wine and spirits store attached. The check out lines are also well manned whenever Im there, so Im not waiting in line forever.

Karns is my new favorite place. The meats, as mentioned, are the best in town. Their selections are always fresh and the variety is second to none. I am a steak lover and they are the only grocery store around with Delmonico steaks, which are my favorite. Their organic section is excellent and they have so many awesome local businesses in the mix. Service is always great and friendly. 5 stars out of 5.

This place is a dump! Nice place when it was Foxs and when Karns first took over however not long after the Karns name and EVERYTHING has gone down hill Food, CLEANLINESS, Prices and this is not the only one check out Karns in Harrisburg (Jonestown Road) could not spend more than 5 minutes in that store smelled that bad and dirty. Will never enter a Karns again these people just dont give a s***.

Karns has a great selection of meat and produce. The butchers are especially friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. Brian, seriously, your gripe is because the WiFi didnt work? WiFi is just a perk that businesses offer for the convenience of their customers. Its not so mooches like you can go loiter in the store and sponge off their internet. Grow up, dude.

Although this is a smaller store compared to the Lemoyne establishment, its an awesome grocer. Super fresh meat and very unique selection (eastern european, asian, indian, hispanic) of items you wouldnt normally find in a store this size. Always great service and they are one of the few places that has adopted the pay wave technology in the area.

They have a good selection of products and always well stocked, however I dont find them to have the best prices on everything. I do realize it is a smaller store than somewhere like Giant, so I can understand that aspect. The staff at the meat department is always courteous and helpful, but the front end cashiers arent very personable.

Dont apply there for a job. They will interview you for what you applied for and then hire you in a different department. I spoke to several people in reference to what exactly was going on and seemed like they could care less about the issue.

I always shop here for their selection of oragnic & local produce. Great selection & unbeatable quaility. Karns also has a great butcher with high quality meat & poultry. They can answer any questions you have about the meat - great service.

Karns is a nice story with most of all the positive reviews being true. My only caveat to anyone, is that their organics, which are priced about 20-30% higher than Giants prices. If you are looking for orgainc food, go to Giant.

Great prices and great selection. Cant beat the convenience of a built-in state store, either. My only gripe is that the fried chicken has been consistently disappointing, with more breading and bone than meat.
