pros = This is a great little restaurant that is located off of Paxton Street, next to Jumbo Buffet. It used to be an old beer warehouse a long long time ago. the food is excellent. and i like it very spicy. Little Saigon has a basic menu, they just recently expanded it to about 25 different items. so if you dont know what to get they only have a few things to choose from. it has a main lunch hall, and also a dining area that they just recently opened up that looks a lot nicer than the rest of the place. There are TVs mounted on the walls or at either end of the dining hall that have sports or vietnamese langauge programing on. there and people are always chatting and gossiping about something. reminds me of what it would be like to actually be in Saigon. this actually is the oldest operating vietnamese restaurant in harrisburg city. and seriously.... since they opened that HACC campus up by Garden, garden raised their prices on everything by about 35% thats crazy, rose also has raised her prices... garden has a basic menu, but still is in the 4.95 - 5.25 range for most of their soups. there have been about a doszen that have come and gone, especially in the paxton street area: pho pasteur, pho vietnam, pho van houc, the pho inside Remys XO club, hung xue, saigon delite, etc.... cons = This store is the only vietnamese restaurant that sells egg rolls individually, normally they come in a pair. The last time i wet there they gave me two pairs of spring rolls, when all i wanted was one pair. I never really have been upset with people who move to this country, of the fact that they cant always speak english perfectly, I think I admire they because they are bold, they move to a new country and totally change their way of life. But it sometimes is a hassle when you say something and they dont fully grasp what you are trying to say. Also they dont take debit or credit cards, cash only. once i forgot my cash and they made me go to the store and charge my card in the store and give the cash to the waiter. I think this would have 5 stars except for the fact that the menu is so limited.

Great food, wonderful prices, i always have the beef PHO, it tastes like my moms pot roast with tons of noodles and fresh vegies piled high for you to add as per your taste.. as the soup begins to cool down the herbs and beansprouts soften adding a second level of depth to this tremendous soup.. i have also had the seafood Pho and the spring rolls and the sesame balls they are all wonderful too.. if you are not into soup they have some delish looking "hoagies" call Bahn Mi.. then you have to go check out the great Oriental grocery store next door for some fresh Tofu and greens and other yummlies...

I love this place. Even though it is indoors it reminds me of the typical outdoor "hawker centers" found in Asian countries. The food is great, inexpensive, but the place is not pretty by typical American standards. If you are ok with that then you should give this place a try. You can tell by all of the Vietnamese locals you will see there that this place is a local establishment. Also if you are there during the day there is a Asian grocery store in the same building. Again, its a typical Asian grocery store so its not pretty, but it has almost anything you will need for Asian cooking. Enjoy!

"Pho does your body good" This is the best pho place I ever been. I had lots of pho in Philly and non of them would compare to this one. Nice seats with good cushion. Clean restaurant. With a good stack on one side with small platter filled with various kinds of food. We tried sticky rice with sausage and it is delicious with provided sauce. I order Chunky beef stew pho and its savory. Beef was melted in the mouth and in a good amount. Price is also competitive around 6 dollar small and 7 for large. The entrance is inside of a supermarket where the entrance is at the back of parking place.

I had the spicy beef Pho and it was super!! Piping hot broth and thinly sliced beef brisket. They provide all of the add-ins: bean sprouts, sliced Chilies, basil, cilantro, limes.. the bill was $17 for 2people. We each had a large Pho and we shared a grilled pork sub on toasted french bread. The atmosphere is not pleasing to the eye, but the quality of the food is excellent.

Best Pho in the area. Never disappoints. Its a hidden gem. I always order the number 7 with two spring rolls. Delicious!! Also for those chilly rainy days, I love their coffee and you let it drip into the cup. It will make you grow some chest hairs! Lol It warms you up and wakes up quickly!

Excellent food at affordable prices. The online menu I found did not match the stores menu, but they still were able to make the dish I had gone there for. Great place to get food to-go as well. The store that is in the same building is also worth a thorough look.

Have been eating here for about as long as I can remember and I wont go anywhere else. Parents born and raised in Cambodia and say that this place is the closest to what they ate back home. Love this place and highly recommend it!!!!!

The broth has a nice flavor and texture. It was the hottest pho Ive ever had so the meat and sprouts cooked easily. The broth had a little fat but they could probably skim it if asked.

Solid Pho Restaurant. Love the Wonton and Egg noodles, healthier than the buffet next door!
