I would say it is okay. Good for a large indecisive group, but not my first choice buffet in the area. Its a buffet so its not going to have high quality food (larger profit margins for cheaper supplies - you know). My favorite Chinese take out dish is chicken with garlic sauce and I was quite disappointed as all of their chicken dishes tend to be very chewy/grissel-y (on multiple occasions dining here). I only recommend the tiny chopped and heavily breaded chicken as this compensates for the grissel. The coconut chicken is essentially candy. It hurt my teeth to eat. Their ragoons are very full of a sweet, cream cheese mixture. Very tasty, but not always in the mood for that style. Their non-chinese options are very good (love their Mac and cheese). The dumplings/pot stickers are pretty decent. Consistent with other buffets in the area. Fried appetizers are good, too. I can NOT recommend their seafood. The fish sits in large pans across the hot bars in its own juices and oil and slowly dries out into jerky. The crabs and crawfish are more often than not very grey and dull; definitely not fresh. BUT then again, its a buffet. The calamari is very rubbery and tends to get hard and dry. The sushi is okay. I dont really feel comfortable eating their raw sushi after experiencing their other seafood options. I actually really like their deep fried sushi (I know, not authentic, but tasty). The habachi grill is cool, but I dont use it personally. The ingredients dont interest me. The ice cream bar is good. The dessert bar has lots of fruit options (and their is a salad bar btw). The banana pudding has Ritz crackers in it rather than nilla wafers? Desserts are mystery items with bland flavors... Just stick to ice cream. Pretty run of the mill buffet. Nothing special, but not bad. Just a matter of finding what you do and dont like here. Dont go later than 7pm on weekdays as things tend to sit out then. Overall, I do eat here on occasion. Not something I get too excited about since it does cost $10 a person for lunch plus $1.95 per drink (free refills/water). Wait staff are a bit odd. Generally very nice, but can be very pushy for seemingly no reason. Like insisting that we give her our bank card for her to pay the bill and bring back the paid receipt (even though they have a desk to pay at when finished). Felt very uncomfortable about that transaction. Kept an eye on our card transactions for a while after that. Bathrooms are very dark and in disrepair. Had been very nice at some point, but definitely falling behind. Theres also a bit of junk build up on what had been a patio that is visible when pulling into the parking lot. Its a buffet. 3 stars because Ive never gotten sick, but its not anything special for me either.

Always a truly enjoyable dining experience anytime I go. Lu Hibachi Buffet & Grill offers a tremendous amount of daily food options for lunch, dinner, or quick takeout if youre on the go. Takeout is a fixed price per pound, but otherwise its AYCE! The dinner/weekend buffet is not to miss, offering king crab legs, many seafood favorites, including lobster, shrimp, calamari, scallops, and various other fish. Theres also all of your other favorite dinner meats and food choices. Theres always a super nice array of choices for the kids, including fresh dough pizza thats phenominal, french fries, waffle fries, chicken nuggets, and mozzarella sticks, among others. Theres a well appointed salad bar with lots of super fresh and crisp offerings. They feature a fresh order Mongolian grill, where you pick your meats, add ins, and sauces. They also feature a fresh sushi station, where everything can be made to order...right in front of you. Then you can finish off your meal...if you can eat any more, with an ample dessert bar, featuring fresh dip your own ice cream in no less than 8 to 10 various flavors that are rotated regularly. Bottom line, I give the Lu Hibachi Buffet & Grill two thumbs up...way up!!! If youre in the Hanover area as a tourist, or a local resident, make the Lu Hibachi Buffet & Grill one of your destinations! (5 Stars).

Old Review: The absolute best Chinese buffet in the area hands down. Aside from the vast amount of buffet food, they also offer a hibachi grill where you choose your own fresh ingredients and then hand it over the bar for the chef to cook it for you! The food is amazing. A lot of variety and different Asian cuisines to choose from. The sushi bar is quite large too! And to top if off you get Hersheys Ice Cream! Honestly you cant go wrong. The lunch special is half priced which is awesome. This place is always busy and youll know why when you get there! Plenty of seating and the staff are generally very nice. New review: Management must have changed because the last time I went here, the food was just.....blah. Im not sure what happened to this place, but it used to be amazing! Sad...

My family has come here often. Its easy to stop in and eat with our triplets. The freshness is hit or miss...but tonight was horrible. Arrived at 730 and everyones cleaning up! (They close at 10pm!) No fresh food or sushi. Complained to the waitress in hopes theyd make new. No such luck. After asking the sushi chef twice about fresh sushi (since he was watching videos on his phone) he made me a handful fresh. We were literally spitting the cold hard food out. Asked for the bill and to speak to the manager who basically said told me I was wrong and we needed to stir the food before getting a spoonful what?! And gave us $2 off our bill!! Needless to say you have lost our business!

We have eaten here several times at many different times of the day. We never had a complaint about the food or service until tonight. My caught as well as Grand daughter went with us. We were eating an things were fine, not half way through our meal as we all were steady eating as well as talking the waitress came n set the bill on the table. OK no problem we were used to getting that while we were satin dessert but its OK. We continued to eat an not 5 mins later the waitress came back to the table an said "You pay now" We all looked at each other as if to say was that a question? Needless to say we paid the bill, unhappily! We will not return!!

Ive been here quite a few times, Ive never had a problem with the waitresses. Ive never felt rushed to eat, the tables have always been clean. The food is amazing, whenever Ive been there it has been fresh and really good. When it gets really busy the floors do accumulate quite a bit of trash and food, but when they had time they cleaned them right away. The only issues Ive ever had here is actually with other customers, but there really isnt anything the restaurant can do about that. I love this place, I take a lot of people here and theyve all said they loved it too. I even plan this Monday to take my girlfriend there again.
