This is a great place to eat, given a couple of qualifications. Its got some really wonderful dishes that make it worthwhile. Most of the stuff they serve is mediocre and not very good, but as its a buffet, if you know what the few really good ones are, that makes no difference, and youll get a fantastic deal. You can take what you dont eat home, or get an extra plateful to go, or just get food to go for only $4 a pound ($6 for meat/fish). Thats a great deal, and I usually get a plateful of stir-fry veggies to take home for another meal. Also, even the mediocre food is a plus if you bring finicky friends or finicky kids: they have plenty of junk food (pizza, french fries, fried chicken nuggets), plus plenty of stuff for vegans and vegetarians, plus lots of normal chinese dishes from lo mein to beef & broccoli, Everybody will like something here. The Hibachi stir fry is fantastic: you pick your own selection of veggies (and/or meats and eggs), and they have a good selection including baby corn ears, water chestnuts, and fresh mushrooms: they cook it in front of you, and add whatever sauces you want or lots of garlic if you wish. Worth it if this is all you get. The sushi is good. Mostly California roll kinds of sushi, maybe a dozen varieties, with a couple of them vegan and several with cooked rather than raw fish. More than worth it just for the sushi alone. The salad bar is way above average, better than any of the ones you see in the supermarket for $5 or $6 a pound, with more variety, except this is all you can eat or only $4 a pound to take home, so thats worth it if you only eat salad, or bring along friends on a diet who just want to eat salad. Just order water. Soft drinks are expensive, though its an all you can drink deal, but seriously, why the extra calories of sugar water to fill you when theres all the good food that comes with the package plan. I just get water and add lemon slices. Or maybe Ill order hot tea if Im in the mood, but thats extra too. And I skip the desserts. There are tons of them, none that interesting, but usually at least two varieties of chocolate cake, which will make kids happy. And there are a few other really top-notch dishes, such as the string beans (always just perfectly crispy and not overcooked) or the small clams in the shell which is delicious, or the spinach and cheese dish which they hilariously always misspell as "Spanish Cheese" (they finally fixed the sign after I posted this review). The rest of the stuff is mostly mediocre, but just sample and find the few really good dishes they serve, and ignore the rest, and youll love the place. As for bad reviews and complaints about the service, all the waitress does is bring you water and take your used plates. Its a *buffet,* folks! On a rare occasion at peak hours you have to wait a minute or two in line because you pay at the start a one-price fits all, which is an amazing price, btw: $7.00 including tax with the dollar off value-pak monthly coupon in the mail, or $10.00 including tax with the coupon for $1.50 off after 3:30 for dinner or all Sunday. But if you go Sunday afternoon expect a big line to get in -- but thats because half the poor folks in that part of the county take their families there after church! They are doing a huge service to offer all this good food with tons of salad and veggies that poor families can afford instead of a greasy bucket of fried chicken at a fast food restaurant. Its the best cheap after-church family buffet in town. So it gets five stars from me. No, its not the place to impress your date with, but it is a great place to go alone, or with a big family or group of friends where everyone will find something they like, or to get a great carry out stir fry.

Took my family there and had the biggest embarrassment of my lifetime. Arrived there 2:55pm with wife and three kids, was asked, "how many people were there?" and I answered, two adults and three kids. I then paid for number present (i e. 5). We were taken to one of the tables where we sat and started to enjoy ourselves. At one point I took some shrimps and one of them quickly walked up to me told me we are not allowed to eat shrimps because we had paid for lunch and not for dinner. She did not stop there, she went ahead to tell me there are a number of items we cannot eat because those are dinner items. The million dollar question is, when you are in a buffet, are some items labelled lunch and others labelled dinner? How do you know when inside the restaurant which items are lunch and which are dinner? My experience is that when you walk into a buffet you are told how much you have to pay and while inside the buffet, you choose what to eat based on what is available. I have never seen a situation where restaurant staff tells you that you are not allowed to eat some of the food displayed. This was the most outrageous thing I have ever seen in a restaurant. Please, be careful and asked all the questions possible when you pay so that you know what you are not allowed to eat because the food displayed does not carry particular labels as to whether it is dinner or lunch especially if you are there around 3pm. I hope this saves you from humiliation while in this restaurant.

We went to this place a few weeks ago and the service was very bad! It was 10 of us (reserved party) and I guess they had some concerns about whether we would pay. We had to wait at the front until everyone paid. They then escorted us to the back dining room and checked each person’s receipt before letting us in the room to sit down. The waitress then checked our receipts again while taking drink orders. Then the guy who escorted us from the front and check our receipts before we sat down said that three people had not paid. We actually had a few words about the numerous checks they were putting us through. I told him that I never experienced this type of treatment in a buffet or other environment. He said their treatment was standard and common sense as people try to sneak in. To make a long story short, a couple of our family had their receipts with them when they went up to get their food. After they got back, he checked all of our receipts again, and accounted for all 10 persons. He then said we had to leave the receipts visible on the table while we ate. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were celebrating my daughter’s grandmother birthday, I would have demanded my money back and left. I will never eat there again.

This place have very dirty attitude customer services. I dont know if there is any changes now but for the last 2 years I went there with my family they charged me adult price for one of my kids I explained that she is in the age limit of what they posted for a child. At that time my child was 10 yrs of age, because of my child height the cashier was arguing that my child is older I further ask for the supervisor and thats when the nightmare starts. He was so rude asking my child her age , grade in school ect. I have to let them know not everyone are criminal not because somebody tall or look mature that their age gives them the right to discriminate. I am a RN I can pay more than the adult price for the food so I dont have to argue for a little less than the adult price for a child but is the principle about it. I have to walk away with my family the way they dealt with the situation. Another customer that was in the line with me walked away because he was so upset about the behavior. I guess people have to walk with their kids birth paper before ordering . The managers and the supervisors are all the same. Unless is different staffs and management since the last 2 years.
