I am new to the area and was looking around for a place on an early Sunday morning to grab a bagel. Saw Purebread and figured the had to have them. Went in and selection was minimal which didnt bother me because maybe it just isnt their thing. Ordered 2 plain bagels w/cream cheese and a large drink. I asked if they could put a little extra cream cheese on them and they said that they would have to charge me for them. No problem, want something extra you should pay for it. All sounds pretty easy to this point and no big deal. Well she rings me up and it is close to $12.00. Now I am no cheapskate but 2 plain bagels and a fountain drink for $12 bucks??? So I pay the girl and take a look at the receipt to see if there was a mistake. When you go to the register there is a little sign that list the few bagels they have and the types of cream cheese underneath them. So I assumed that if you order a bagel that the cream cheese comes with it. On the receipt was a charge for the 2 bagels, 2 cream cheese on bagels, 2 sides of cream cheese, 1 large drink. So I ask the girl if they charged me twice for the little extra cream cheese I asked for. She says that the cream cheese isnt included and that I was charged for both bagels and the extra for both. The extra cream cheese was like $2 a piece. I ordered my food to go and when it was ready had noticed that the didnt put the extra cream cheese on the bagels but rather gave you a 2 ounce cup on the side. So since I was planning to have one in the car on the way home went to put the extra on myself. Opened the bagel and trust me you do not need to order extra cream cheese. Plenty on it. So I guess I was a little taken aback by the price to 2 simple bagels and the fact that I probably could have gotten a much better variety at the grocery store and a tub of cream cheese for what I was charged there.

I dont get it. For a $10.00 sandwich I should at least be full. This place is lame. I would rather eat anywhere else. The portion was child sized, the dog theme was weird to me, I just didnt like this overpriced sandwich shop that was trying too hard to be different from the rest. Only decent thing about the whole place was the customer service. Nice employees. Asked how the food was and cleared our trays.

Nice urban-style cafe with outdoor seating in good weather. The staff has always been very friendly. You order at the counter and they bring to food to you. The food is a little pricey but tasty and good quality. I have had both breakfast and lunch here. I am gluten free and am happy that gluten free options are available at an additional cost.

Very fast service, food was good. A little on the pricey side, but overall worth it. Really enjoyed watching the clips of dogs being silly while having a delicious corn muffin.

Its like a tastier version of Panera Bread, if Panera were vehement dog lovers. Ive been a few times, definitely worth trying out.
