Ive been visiting this establishment for years and it is always amazing. The staff is quite friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The food is mouth wateringly delicious. My favorite soups are the Chicken Noodle and the Rassolnik, dill pickle soup, might sound weird but try it, seriously! Theres your standard deli fare with flare that is always tasty, try the macaroni & potato salads, you wont be sorry. Vareniki (perogi) anyone?! Unlike the mass produced ones in the frozen food section, these are also homemade, like everything else, and AMAZING. You can get them with many different flavors; my favorite are the traditional potato and the fresh berry filled ones; another that should be tried at least once in your life. Looking for more? In the entree/kiev section there is so much awesome to choose from, my go tos are definitely the schnitzel but hey, why not try them all. Next time you stop in the BFD be sure to ask Vica, Mamochka, or any of the other friendly helpers about Kiev fun, and dont forget your blini!

A little bit of home away from home....one of my two favorite places in the Lehigh Valley. A place where the owner really gets to know your name. Excellent food, especially the Russian dishes (the owners are from Kiev). They have 5-course Kiev night dinners about once a month for $40, huge amount of food, and are open for breakfast & lunch Mon-Sat. I love the Borsch--hot in winter, cold in summer! Lovely fresh salads, too. Lots of Russian specialities offered....other deli food, too, but I always stick to the Russian food since thats their specialty. The decor is shabby/chic, with some nice touches...rotating art on the walls, sometimes floors on the tables. Kinda like Cheers where they get to know your name. Stop by and Vica is likely to Facebook Friend you and then mention you on FB. Soup and a huge salad costs about $11-$12, so quite reasonably priced.

I had a business luncheon at this wonderful deli today. The food is made with love as the KEY special ingredient. The Owners are amazing and make you feel welcome. In their eyes are you just friends they have yet to meet. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for GOOD food, comfort, a caring atmosphere, a quaint place where you can be anonymous or not. It is really more than just a Deli. It is a place where you can meet friends, create friends, be a part of a family. The food is amazing and it is really made with love. Everything was out of this world amazing! Aces to you girls for making such an amazing eating establishment feel like home. Thank you!!!!!

Great stop with delicious classic Ukrainian fare! Im sure the deli shop would be great, but I simply cant pass up ethnic cuisine from a family shop. Was there on a Monday so we took advantage of the pierogis plate. Snagged a Yelp coupon before going in. The normal trappings of a family owned spot with some parts looking a bit tired, but the food was served on real dishes and the table was dressed with a fabric table cloth. And the owner took our order and delivered the food.

A nice deli with wonderful "ordinary" food. But better yet, is the Russian menu, with truly authentic Russian specialties. The usual, of course: borshch and pierogi. But the pierogi are handmade on the premises. And a number of dishes are traditional, but not usually offered in American restaurants ("pickle" soup, babka, kasha). Vica and Milana are lovely hosts as well as outstanding cooks. Like stopping by your babushkas (grannys) kitchen.

Its as if your Russian mother was cooking you an authentic meal because she is! Love this place for the food but also because Vica is a super nice person and she also supports local businesses. We are so fortunate to have them close to our office.

Solid Deli with Hidden Charm Sandwiches are good, delicious, solid deal. And this place offers Kiev Menu. Make sure to take a look at it, and try whatever suits you. The service could be little behind the clock sometimes, however.

Didnt even get to try the food because the attendant asked my boyfriend to wait and twenty minutes later didnt bat an eye at him but continued making someone elses order who came in after him. Disappointing.

Very good food and a great value. Vica and her mom are very friendly and its hard to beat their service. Its small and cozy inside, but its a great place to grab a wonderful panini, sandwich, or salad.

" Perogies" werent that good. In fact, Mrs.Ts were better. Im Ukrainian and I know what they should taste like. First time I tried the deli they made me the wrong order. I was the only one there!
