Have never had a bad experience here. I am a frequent supporter 6 days a week at least and honestly anyone who says they have had a bad experience I question it. And honestly if you did address it with the owners. Very down to earth family owned business. This is what old school delis are. Have never had an order screwed up and I tell them what I want and they get it right everytime. They have had a few changes with staff but be patient some take a little longer but hey its not fast food. Also if you go in here at peak times and complain about speed you have to be special. Great small business

I absolutely love going here for the subs. Every employee there will go out of their way to make sure your order is perfect! My wife will definitely tell you that they have the best Philly steak in Delaware! After were done eating, we always stop into Mommoms ice cream (which is connected to the little grocer). Its the little things like the daily trivia question they ask, and service with a smile that make this place so awesome!

I found the staff to be friendly and helpfull. I was greeted as coming through the door with a smile and a "hello." I found the subs to be very well made. Not too much not too little and they were not soggy by the time I got home. It is a old fashioned Mom & Pop store with things you cant find elsewhere. Best place to go in the summer time for a sandwich/sub, a cold drink, and a bag of chips.

I currently live in New Mexico and must say: There is no sandwich shop that can hold a candle next to Little Grocer! The Stachecki family has always made sure their service, fresh ingredients, and quality of food were paramount. I was in Dover a few weeks ago; I ordered a large turkey sub, and as usual, Little Grocer never disappoints. Rest in peace Jane Stachecki you will be missed.

Came here on my daughter recommendations. Said best Sub ever. So I ordered 12 subs for a family get together. Had 1 slice of meat everybody unhappy. Wont go back or listen to my daughter recommendations again
