Here is the reality about this place. You walk in and are amazed at how cheaply they are selling things. Few items are actually sold at retail prices comparable to other stores. Youre elated and excited to find such a bargain situation. Then you start looking at the expiration dates on items and you realize that the reason for the low prices is because at LEAST 50% (probably closer to 75%) of the items here are past their "best by" or expiration date. So your best bet is to be very choosy about which items you buy that are past that date. If youre buying a box of crackers thats a month past the date, theyll probably be fine. If its 6 months past? Theyll probably be stale. The oldest item I bought here was a can of diet coke that expired 9 months previous, but it was 25 cents, and honestly it was only a little flat. On the other hand I bought a wrapped plate of cookies for $2.99 and they were all stale and tasted off. So again, be wary of the dates on items and use common sense. Dont buy expired dairy or meat products and you should be fine. As a plus, the staff are always extremely friendly when I go in.

The hoagies from here were pretty good. Once I got a long hair in my turkey hoagie, gagged pretty hard, it was disgusting, so I went back to only getting hot hoagies so they didnt have to do much to get anything else in it. ALSO They date their food they make still good, WHEN ITS NOT! I tried some seafood salad and it was the worse sour tasting rotten food ever. They even crossed out the date they marked some foods down for and made it a day or 2 later, its gross and disgusting. NEVER get their stuff unless they made it THAT DAY. Apart from those things the store is pretty alright and the people are friendly.

Just Bought My 7yr Old A Pie From There & Broke It In Half So She Could Share It With My 3 Yr Old & It Had MOLD In It .. Then I Check The Box & It Says Use By June 1st ... Uhm HELLO Thats Freaking Disgusting .. Why Is It Do Hard For Yur Store To Check Its Inventory For Expired Goods ... Bt Then Again Yur Whole Store Would Be Empty If That Happened ..

I like this neighborhood store a lot, they have great deals and are very friendly. My only complaint is that you can never get your lunch meat sliced thin, no matter how many times you ask, they always slice it super thick.
