Updated Review: The food is still amazing here but unfortunately my review must stay at 3 stars. The wait staff is so slow and unreliable. The waiter that I commented on in the below review seemed to be doing a better job tonight than usual but they still were not on their game. This place is still worth it though for its delicious food, just dont expect it quickly or refills or a check back to see how everything is. Once you get your food you wont see your waiter again until after youve finished. Previous Review: Food is always fantastic! Amazing restaurant but this time around our waiter was just terrible. It took 5 minutes from when he seated us until he came around for drinks. Another 5 until he came back with the drinks and to take our orders. He brought the food out when it was finished in a quick and timely manner but never returned after that. We had empty drinks and were never offered refills (he never came back). We were going to order desert until we had to go up to the counter and request our bill from another waiter. Our waiter then got our bills and we paid at the counter. After giving him no tip (obviously with the lousy service), he had the gull to say "Thanks for the tip, no really thanks" as we were walking out the door. Seriously they need some new wait staff. If you go, request the Mexican waiter.... he can at least manage a few tables. Any other visit this review would have easily been 5 stars.

Entrees are excellent! Best Mexican food Ive ever eaten! BUT... BUT... Their complimentary chips and salsa are not so good. Chips are overcooked and dark. Salsa is OVERBEARING with cilantro! Also, had a freaky experience there... Went in, place was nearly empty, but waiter wanted to seat me in a back booth in a nook away from every other table. I said no. Then he said hed just seat me in the back room. I asked why we (my sister and I) couldnt sit in the main dining area. He hesitated a long time, then told us just to sit where we were standing--the first table inside the door. (Also, the back area hed suggested is always empty, away from other diners, and has uncomfortable, hard wooden chairs.) My sister and I are overweight, by the way. We ate our dinner, but a few days later, I mentioned this odd visit to a friend who eats there often. She said she noticed that one day when she was there, four fat ladies came in to eat. The place was almost empty. The waiter seated those four ladies in the back room. Is it that they dont want overweight people to be seen by their other customers? Regardless, the food is good--especially the fajita nachos and the arroz con pollo!

Must have been an off day for them. Started with chips & salsa and no napkins or utensils yet. Salsa unremarkable. Chips slightly stale. Given my food-- had to remind server that I still needed utensils and a napkin. The top of my food was cold, especially the tortilla. Waiter seemed surprised that I wanted food temp hot. Was reheated in microwave. Took awhile to get food back. Surprisingly bland. Chicken tamale DRY and chicken in enchilada DRY. Fried rice has PEAS in it. Looked like Asian fried rich. Flys buzzing around. Indifferent staff. Blah.

Any opportunity to sample some good, authentic Mexican food is always appreciated. This place falls a bit short. The wait staff was doing ME a favor because a group of young, attractive women came in and he was more interested in them than he was in doing his job as a server. He walked by my table, and others, to dote on this one group, so its more of a social thing than a job for that guy. The food is average and VERY expensive.

Holy fantasticness! my husband and I are from our of town, and after reading the previous reviews, we had to give it a try. Great decision on our part! The food was fabulous, fresh, perfectly flavored and arrived very quickly. The chips and salsa to start the meal were incredible. And lets talk about service! Friendly, prompt, big smiles, attentive but not overbearing. My only regret is that I couldnt eat more!

EVERY time my business tries to call to place an order, they ask if I can hold on a minute, and then never pick the phone back up. I can be on the line for ten minutes before I give up. Absolutely terrible customer service. Even when I do get through, and order, when I go to pick up my food I have to stand there for another 15 minutes. No Bueno.

i had a great experience at this restaurant. The salsa they came out with was super fresh i got a few meals in order to try a few things all the food came out quickly very good food everything tasted fresh made and was reasonably priced. Defiantly a place that i would recommend to everyone. I will be returning

Best Mexican food Ive had in Northeast PA! I realize thats not saying much, but these guys are good! Salsa was nice and fresh with only a little heat. Mucho grande burrito is amazing with a lot of meat and veggies and an amazing cheese sauce. Highly recommended!

The Spanish waiter was great. My quesadilla sampler on the other hand was horrible. Made with American cheese..... gross. The dish itself had no effort put into it. If you dont have a pallet - I recommend this place.

Passed through this area on our way to NYC. Looking for a Mexican restaurant, this one popped up so we tried it. The service was slow. Everyone was very slow moving. The food made up for it though! It was good!

Best Mexican restaurant, if you ask me, in Pennsylvania or more. Service is normal most everything is normal except for the food, it is out of this world good and I know Latin food I was born and raised there.
