Never going back.. Read so many reviews on here that made this place sound amazing so I was really excited to get some great authentic Mexican food. However, totally not the case. I was next to my girlfriend when she ordered the food WORD FOR WORD what it is listed as on the menu and she still had to repeat herself several times very clearly what we wanted. (Maybe they dont know their own menu?) She asked me to take the list with me because she was concerned they didnt understand her. So I get there and just make sure that their order matched what we had written down from the menu. It didnt her enchilada platter and my burrito were completely wrong. They got the Nachos and chips and guac right though... So they offer to redo it. They write our order down word for word, which we copied word for word from their menu.. So I wait in my car another 15 minutes till their 2nd attempt was finished. I assume this time they actually got it right so I come home with my food. Nope. My girlfriends Enchilada isnt an enchilada in any shape or form.. My chicken burrito is the most bland burrito I have ever had in my life. The Nachos were okay but, after waiting while they cooked up the 2nd failed attempt, the nachos were cold and soggy.. However, the guac and chips were decent but nothing amazing. No desire to finish even half of our $44 meal.. which by the way.. is way overpriced for poor quality. Ill stick to Baja Fresh even if it is an extra 10 minutes away. Cheaper, fresh, delicious and never have an issue with them understanding the names of their own food.

My takeout entree was the chicken platter. The thin chicken patties were too salty and cooked too dry. The rice was horrible, some of it was hard and some soft and bit mushy. It was also very bland. The beans were too mushy for me. I liked the cactus but I dont know how it compares to other places as I dont recall ever eating it before. My moms soft tacos were good when I tasted them. The two men working behind the counter were friendly.

I love trying little places like this and it proved itself to be Amazing. The food was delicious!. Best burritos we have ever had... I never feel compelled to write a review but I want this place to stick around forever! Also they have a good kids menu, the service was great and everything was in good timing and VERY fresh. I could see myself getting addicted to this little joint.

For what it is I definitely recommend for something legitimate in the area. Small dining area but family run kinda vibe to the place. Food is made fresh and gets to the table hot and pretty quick. Prices are fair for what you get. It does look a little sketchy from the outside but honestly that whole strip has looked that way for as long as I can remember and never had a problem.

Their food is amazing and legit, and theyre one of the few places that sells aqua fresca. Try to avoid going there during lunch or dinner rushes; they typically only have one cook, and when he gets swamped, the food quality does drop. If you can pick up an order during non-peak hours, youll love it. Try the chimichanga or steak (asada) tacos.

Best, most authentic Mexican food since my wife and I left San Diego several years ago. A total hole-in-the wall taco joint with friendly service, an open kitchen and great food. My single complaint; they were out of guacamole, but I can see how that might happen in a little place like this.

Horrible customer service ! I tried to ask the waitress for just get echiladas with no beans, since we are very allergic to lard and she answered over me without letting me finish my questions, with a rude "No" we cant do that, so rude and disrespectful!

Worst Customer Service Ever...I know what I ordered and when I called to tell them she clearly said "You dont need to know my name, next time you need to order what you order correctly" Then SHE HUNG UP. Dumb Lady, there will NEVER be a next time.

Food is pretty good or okay, especially if you are used to taco places in San Diego county. Pretty pricey $10 - 13, and portions really arent impressive. Not very memorable flavor. Burritos arent that good, street tacos are better.

Very good food... The a la cart tacos are great, I like to get one chicken, one steak, one chorizo. The platters ive had are very good, they come with a side of grilled vegetables which includes cactus, all very good.

I used to come here alot but do not frequent as much anymore..I always got the steak tacos..they used to give you alot more meat but now not near as much..and it also has alot of fat and griddle in the meat

Best tacos in MD hands down!! Price is great. I live about 30 mins away from there and just happened to be in the area and stop by. From now on i wouldnt mind the drive. The tacos were great!
