the best Chinese spot in the area. I wish they delivered, but its worth a trip. I read some of the other reviews listed for this place - Im wondering if they are mixing up golden dragon with a different Chinese spot? my biggest qualm with American Chinese restaurants is consistency. this place hits the nail on the head. *every* dish Ive ordered is always delicious, and the necessities are always spot on. fried rice is always delicious, egg rolls are the best Ive had anywhere, the soup is always delicious, and the entrees are great. I mix it up, and have yet to order something I didnt like. if you find a reason to dislike this place, I doubt there was anything they could have done to sway you anyway. plus, the ladies that run the place are so nice and friendly. they will remember you after 2-3 visits. enjoy.

Popped in for a quick bite after shopping at REI, but immediately regretted it. The only thing I managed to finish was a pint of wonton soup, which hit the dumpling spot. What I didnt finish was the entree; the general tsos was the worst Ive ever experienced. It was a thick syrup of globby cornstarch and hyper-sweet. I felt like I was going to get diabetes after a few bites, or suffer a more immediate effect that would see me crumple to the floor in a convulsing heap of sugar and sodium. How can you screw up the general?! Im almost impressed at how bad it was.

I used to frequent this place as a backup when not in Chinatown. I accepted it being Americanized, but its lost its competitive edge. The serving sizes for dinner menu were not adequately portioned and the taste wasnt near what it used to be. I regretted stopping in. Plus they charged extra for using a card without even mentioning why. For a second I thought it was gratuity, not. Sadly, I think this family doesnt take the pride they once did both in food preparation and products, even the appetizer dipping noodles were stale. Disappointed.

Horrible place. Charge automatic gratuity even if the food and service is unacceptable. STAY AWAY. Ordered beef and brocollli and food was spoiled and gave me food poisining. I also saw bugs on the floor near the kitchen area. On top of this horrific experience they automatically charged me gratuity for 20 % without telling me. I was ripped off for no reason. And I took the food leftovers and trashed it. Never again. Reported them to health department.

Well, it was late night when we walked in, only one customer besides us. Both the vegetable and poultry dishes were awful, unfortunately to say. Dumping everything together with some sauce does not make it a dish; coating not so fresh roasted duck in thick dough and frying it shows the chef does not understand food or cooking. The food was not authentic Chinese, very greasy, it made us feel sick for a whole day!

Thats the way theyll make it. I always order the pork fried rice, then I was told to limit my sodium intake. I went to Golden Dragon and ordered another meal, the waitress asked me after the meal why I order something different this time. I explained my dietary restriction and she said, "Next time just order it wit no salt. We will make it however you want it." My kind of place.

The fried dumplings had to have been deep fried, they were greasy and didnt come with the dumpling sauce. The fried rice was over cooked and tasted horrible. Even the egg roll was over cooked and had no flavor. The worst Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to. And with a cost of $40 it was sad to throw the food away.

Excellent staff -- answered all my questions, and helped us decide on our meal. Food was quality, well-seasoned, & on my top 5 Chinese food places Ive ever eaten. Only con: I wish they delivered -- they would probably have triple my business, if they ever decide to change this. :) Either way, its worth the drive.

I Love this place from childhood to adulthood. I see the same two sisters in there which makes it a plus. Same Quality and Taste makes me a customer for this long time period. Very few restaurants keeps their originality!!! Thanks Golden Dragon for keeping things as is. The Best as is I know & Love.
