The food is okay, nothing that special, but decent. Though, my wife likes it for their vegetarian options. Im glad to see a customer service manager getting involved with the reviews. I think the restaurant needs some help in the service/management department. Weve been there a few times spread over a couple months. The first time we had lunch, it was fine, so we went back for dinner later on a night that wasnt too busy. I ordered the only chimi on the menu, and it wasnt fully cooked through. Outside was kinda hot, middle was refrigerator cold, had to send it back. A couple other times, the food came out a little lukewarm in spots, but at least it was cooked through. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes the service is fine, others...well..one time we were one of only a few tables in for an early dinner, and we were sitting for 15 minutes before anyone asked us for drinks...despite at least two different servers having seen us. I dont think its always the servers fault, I feel like they do try, but maybe a lack of communication or management issues are holding them back. I realize a lot of people use the "just opened" excuse, but IMHO, thats no excuse, and the place has been up for a good 5 months now. Poor service and issues in the kitchen after having just opened do not paint a pretty picture for the future of the restaurant....even if it is one of the few places like it on the Main Line. Ive seen new places take a nose dive and disappear for that very reason. I think the place has promise, but I think there are some issues that need to be addressed.

While I understand they just opened up...they definitely have a long way to go. The scenery/atmosphere is beautiful hands down! But the customer service, however sucks . We waited for our food (group of 5 Thursday night around 7) for 25- 30min and 3/5 orders came out right. Although 3 came out only 1 was really worth eating. The 3 of us ordered the wingo burrito and 2 wingos tacos the burrito turned out being great according to my friend; the wingos tacos however, not so good. The two other members of my party returned their food because the waitress messed the orders up so much. They waited an additional 20min for their new orders....The waitress was always in a rush as if she was more concerned about getting away from us than making sure we were comfortable or even before someone at the table finished asking her for something. This was the worst service I have had in a long time....I hope the work hard to make the service better because its an awesome space.

I felt the food was overpriced and bland for what I payed. The music level was to loud too carry on a conversation with my wife, let alone the other people in my party. We waited around for over 45 minutes from when we ordered the food to when it arrived. My entree plate came with water on it. This was not your typical "condensation" as my Steak Mad Mex Fajita Burrita was soaked on the bottom and the tortilla was gummy. When I alerted my server she took the plate and either just wiped it off or transported my food to the other plate. Sadly, I only had about four pieces of meat in my burrito. The one bright star of our evening was the Jerked Drumstyx Chicken Appetizer. It had a bold flavor and the house-made Cilantro Cream Sauce was actually quite tasty. With that sad, I will not be returning.

I was extended a interview here and the hiring manager asked me to drive from south jersey to wynwood fo a bartender job. When i got there the manager was very rude and while i drove 20 miles and was courteous, he sat criss-cross applesuace (idk what its called lol) and acted as if this was not important and that im lucky to be in his presence or somshit, then said "we dont hire bartenders, we hire servers ... can you DO serving?" ........ what the hell did you call me for then jeeze you crass obtuse oaf. he had a very cavalier atitude towrds the interview, i called to see what happened and apparently he got promoted and they hired a atractive yound lady to be a bartender lmao, plenty of people have complained about these guys, and Matt (I think)is the district manager now lol.

The service is consistently terrible here. Tonight, we had to wait 10 minutes, street being seated, before the waiter (Brian) even came to our table to say hi and introduce himself. He took our order, then it took another 5 mins before or drinks were served. After being seated for a total of 33 minutes, our appetizers arrived. we had to ask for napkins and plates to eat our appetizers with. Literally less than 2 minutes later, our main entrees arrived. Then we had to call the waiter back to actually bring us silver ware........ They definitely need to work on their timing, and service. Never coming back to this location again. Only going to the university city location from here on. Their service is consistently better, and a much better atmosphere.

Everything is REALLY spicy. When we asked the manager, he said thats the way we do it here, and asked us if we would like some sour cream for our guac/salsa (which we had already asked for and it was siting right in front of him).Which is okay, I just was not expecting it. The MALE HOSTESS was RUDE !! When he was walking us to our table (in the bar), my husband asked if we could sit a table we were walking by. He said he had just sat that server ( my husband said, why dont you switch tables with the servers). He rolled his eyes and practically THREW the menus on the table and walked away....NEVER GOING BACK....Our server Myrtle was the only pleasant part of our experience.

I was hoping for a much better experience. I found Mad Mex totally disappointing. The food was ordinary and without flavor also badly presented on the plate. The service was horrible it was all I could do to not walk out. It took forever to get a chicken mole burrito. It was the worst mole sauce without flavor and the filling was overcooked rice and beans with some tough pieces of chicken. The salsa tsted as if it came out of a can and the guacamole was bland and too ripe, Compared to my experience at Mad Mex Chipotle Grill is haute cuisine.

Finally sitting down for a meal and margarita with my fiance after having Grub Hub delivery a few times. The Chopper Salad did not disappoint and my fiance was pleased with his burrito. Will definately be back and will order again on grub hub. We would have given 4 and a half stars and not 5 ---only because it was a little too pricey in my book for the portion size. But overall yummy and great service. Cant wait to come again.

Not good !! Very far from authentic Mexican food! Chips and salsa-chips were from a bag and dumped in a bin at the bar right in front of us, dalsa was way too thick i had to use a spoon to put it on the chips! Shrimp Tequitas had almost no shrimp, mine had none and my guest had one(rip off)! My chimichanga was very small and on the plate was about 3 lbs of black beans! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
