This restaurant has horrible customer service and an insufficient online ordering system. I placed an order on December 04, 2015 through their online ordering system. I waited about an hour, and called into the location to check the status of my order, being that the online order tracking showed no activity. Even though I ordered at 2PM I was told that they would not have a driver until 5PM. Additionally, I was told that I was outside of the delivery area, so even at 5PM they would not be able to delivery. I paid online through PayPal, and was told that if I wanted a refund I should contact PayPal myself, which considering the circumstance I feel should not have been left up to me. I am within 10 minutes of the restaurant and if I was outside of the delivery area - my payment should not have been accepted online. Anyone who is familiar with PayPal knows that while a seller can process a refund to a buyer in order a minute; for a buyer to try to recuperate funds from a seller there is a lengthy process that requires opening up a case, giving the seller time to respond, etc. I spoke to both a server and manager at the Bryn Mawr location, who offered no resolution or care. I wrote into the general customer service email address with no response. I called back into the Bryn Mawr location requesting to speak with the individual who maintains the online orders for Tiffin and was given the number to the location on Girard Avenue. There I spoke with someone who took down my number and said he would refund the purchase, and also stated that if any issues arose with processing the refund he would give me a call back. The refund was never processed and I was not given a call back. As I stated earlier, this all began on December 4, 2015. It is now, December 21, 2015 and PayPal finally processed the refund yesterday due to sellers lack of response. This is one of the poorest displays of customer service I have seen in a restaurant and needless to say I will not be patronizing Tiffin any longer. *** 0 STARS ***

Terrible delivery service - not reliable at all. The first time they were 1.5hr late and were rude when we called. Tonight, they waited an hour after we placed the order then sent an email saying they were busy and arent delivering to Wayne tonight. Again, rude when I called. Not reliable - food just okay so wont be back here again. Not surprising to see all these bad service reviews. Looks like a trend to me.

I worked at this location for almost 3 years. Ive washed dishes, served and even cooked. So pretty much every possible position. Its been a long time and Ive moved on to much bigger and better things ( as far as employment is concerned) but nothing will ever Compare to that experience. Not to mention that NO OTHER establishment can compare with their lamb Biryani!

I love the food, and they offer a nicely priced lunch special, but why, oh why, do they have a $20 minimum for delivery? I would order from them much more often if the delivery minimum were lower. I can only eat so much at a time, so I wind up ordering elsewhere. Its a shame since their food is great.

I go here just because its near the Film Institute. And I love really good Indian food. This is good Indian food, not great. The Tiffin on Girard in Philly is better, so is the Ardmore location. For a meal before or after a movie its ok and fast.

The. Best. Indian. Food. Period. If you love Indian food and want to eat it but your friend is like I dont like Indian food or hasnt tried it then Tiffin is the place were you can come take them to be woke.

Looking for a place to get a late dinner after a movie at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Walking distance we found this gem. Excellent & prompt service with very good food. What more do you need?
