Boyfriend and I went last night. I said Astoria, he said I should try Forno Antico. Im Italian. Hes Italian. I cook pretty much only Italian. This place was. Oh my goodness. So. Good. First and formost, Stacy & Sebastian took such good care of us & made us feel like we could of stayed over night. Im a server/bartender and the service was superb. Second, food. I ordered a house special, and boyfriend ordered baked ravioli with sausage. The crust cooked on the sausage was something you can only do at home, when you take your time. Absolutely perfect. Not to mention the appetizer. Shrimp dejean. Go to forno and get it, now. The light flavors! The lemon and whole pieces of garlic I was eating like candy. Thats true Italian food. My entree was unbelievable. Homemade pasta that melted in your mouth!! The vodka sauce, absolutely perfect. Flavors were a party in my mouth & right on the money. For a home Italian cook, born and raised, I was almost jealous of the cooking haha. So, so, so authentic and delicious. Cant say enough good about forno.

Food is good, but I didnt feel comfortable. When I walked in, they thought I was lost. They had the guilty smile that us black guys find very empty but amusing now. The waitress forgot to serve me bread and butter in the beginning that is the house rule. She only remembered after she had served all the white folks that came in after me, which by then was pretty obvious. The service was just flat out wrong. This was my first trial since I moved into the area did months ago, and I am quite sure is my LAST!!!!

The atmosphere is nothing special and the prices were fairly high for a place in Collegeville. I ordered pasta in a red sauce that came out with meat on it. It was not listed on the menu with meat sauce and I am a vegetarian so I could not eat it. When I told the waiter this he told me he could not change the sauce because they made it with meat that night. I still had to pay full price for the meal that I did not eat.

Have been here for lunch about 4 times in the past year. Never disappointing. Great pasta as well as sandwiches. Eggplant parm and Lasagna are fabulous as well as their pizzas. Very reasonably priced, fast and friendly service. I recommend it to all of my friends. Need to try it for dinner soon. Five Stars in my book! Oh, I have my masters in Food Science, so I know these things.

We has a party of 12. We showed up and were seated promptly. Rest of party showed up about 25 minutes later. Waited 1 hour for waitress to take partial appetizer order. One hour later entrees ordered. Had the stuffed mushrooms that were very bland. The main entree was very good. When the waitress showed up, service was good. Good food overall with very slow and unattentive service.

We absolutely love Fornico Antico. Amazing food, great atmosphere, friendly service.... We feel like family here and have never been let down by the food. We have eaten here many times and hope they have a long successful future here. Part of me is afraid of letting the secret out but I want them be around for good so spread the news! What a great place! My wife and I had an excellent dinner here. The people who work there were very nice and the food was authentically Italian. My wife is from northern NJ and Im from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and we have travelled to Italy several times, and we were still impressed. Highly recommended!

Came in late on a Sunday evening when folks were cleaning, I suppose it was a quiet night. But they insisted I sit and they served me a delicious meal....Never felt like I was inconveniencing them at all. Food and service were both great.

Great authentic Italian spot right in Collegeville. Ive never had a bad meal here. I do take out mostly, but have eaten in a few times. Usually not crowded except occasionally on weekends. Everything is good. Try this place!

Authentic Italian eatery with wood-fired pizza and generous portions. I love their Veal Parmesan. Staff courteous and attentive. Can get pretty busy which results in a longer wait time for your food.
