Kings Family Restaurant is a conundrum. The breakfasts and desserts are pretty darn good..especially the cinnamon ice cream for which they are known. In all other respects, Kings is only fair to middlin, and sometimes not even that. The food is what I would consider typical diner food. Its hearty and decent, though nothing special to write home about. Unfortunately, generally speaking you really have to wait when you go to a Kings restaurant. Case in point...the restaurant had exactly 12 people at it this evening, and our meal took almost 30 minutes to arrive at the table. Our waitress was efficient, but she was stymied by the slowness of the kitchen. Again, the food is not bad in fact as I said its very hearty. And, when you order you generally get enough food that you dont leave hungry. All in all, though, Kings family restaurant tends to the ordinary, and nothing very special.

I really hope they never close this Kings. The staff here are very nice, polite and very welcoming. I have tried every burger made with a dippy egg on top and just cannot find one that comes close to Red Robins. I found it hear. My Dad also thinks the Ultimate Craft burger is the best around. Good Eats, Good People. Great quiet place to take the kids for a "Sit Down meal. Great Job Everyone.

What a great friendly staff on Sunday morning. My boyfriend has bad back problems and thought he could sit for a breakfast here at kings. However his back was to sore and we had to leave before we ordered food. The staff was so very nice and understanding. We got orders to go and they were delish! Give this kings a try. Amazing staff this sunday morning October 16 and such yummy food.

Food quality and service has been pretty decent here. Prices are obviously the reason you eat here for the quantity. Absolutely hate Kings new "EAT" on their buildings but thats not why I dropped a star. The star has just been for general speed for dinner food and the burgers, jesus can they be fatty, your fries will be swimming in an oil slick before long.

Not just for truckers any more! A newly revamped menu and friendly staff have put this place back on my short list of casual dining go-tos. Breakfast has always been great, but the new burgers & chicken sandwiches that Ive tried have all been excellent. Desserts are good too, especially the obligatory MEGA cinnamon rolls! Give em another look!

Food was undercooked...service was great, but lately the food has not been very good, I sent our food back once, and the cook came around to see who sent it back, after that, we just didnt finish our food , paid, and left...used to go 2-3 times a week...now seldom at all....a shame...we loved taking the grandkids...

Had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to even take my take out order. All i wanted was bowl of soup. When someone finally took my order was charged for a quart and not a bowl. Good heavens i took the quart. Didnt want to wait any longer. Will go to eatnpark next time

Always wanted to eat at Kings. The name made me picture, dark wooden tables maybe some stained glass somewhere but it was just another hum drum family restaurant. The service was just ok. The food was good but nothing to make me want to go back.

Food was absolutely great and you get sooo much food for the price. Very inexpensive and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress was very kind and we received our order very quick. Will definitely go again :)

Breakfast options are lacking. To order what I consider breakfast I have to order a la carte for a considerable charge. Were as most of their competitors offer a greater variety at a similar or lower cost.
