Very disappointed on the Coliseum food and service. Ive eaten at What If several times over the years and its always been great. Our server said the food came from the same kitchen, so Im not sure what happened tonight. We had 3 adults and 2 kids at dinner. It took 45 mins. to get the appetizer, which came out wrong. We asked for dry rub wings and they sent wings with hot sauce. Sent that back. Kids food came next...looked like it sat for a while, luke warm at best. Next came 2 out of 3 adult dinners. My crabcake was completely cold, along with wrong sauce ordered. About 10 mins later came the next adult dinner. Her chicken was stone cold. Sent that back. It was getting to be a joke at this point. Our server kept blaming the kitchen, but very unapologetic about the whole thing. I asked to see the manager. He came over eventually, but didnt introduce himself as the manager. I had to ask who he was. I explained what all happened. He said the server should have told us the kitchen was backed up. She didnt. She appeared to be very inexperienced and didnt know what to say. He took 20% off the bill, which was not near enough for all the mishaps and bad food we had tonight in my opinion. Will never eat there again.

Ive been to the Coliseum about a dozen times now, and its safe to say its a 2 star restaurant at the most. Last night was a mediocre experience, resulting in a mediocre review. I can summarize the Coliseum in one sentence: A place for rich adults to go and get drunk while their kids play in the arcade. This is not a good place to hang out for the young crowd. I can tell you that its more of s family joint than a cool and hip place to chill out at. Go to downtown Harrisburg if you want that experience. Anyhow, the quality of the food was lousey. The price was mid ranged. The wings arent too bad, but everything else on the menu sucks. The drinks are mega expensive. Dont plan to save money if you want to drink alcohol here, especially mixed drinks and shots! There are pool tables and a bowling alley in the basement. They are both decent quality, but both very expensive to play for a single hour. The service wasnt too bad, but could have been better. We waited too long for how slow it was that night.

Im only giving it 2 stars because our waitress was the best thing there and the food wasnt bad. The restaurant had a sign saying they were closed on Sunday for a private party, but it was Monday and they were still closed. We asked what time they closed and they said 12. It wasnt even 10 when we started to bowl our first game. When we sat down to eat we were informed that they would be closing early and we nearly had to beg to play another game. Out of 12 lanes, at least 5 were broken. When we had an issue with ours, the attendant had no clue of what to do. We spent close to $150 in the short time we were there, and probably would have doubled it if we werent chased out. I really hope our waitress finds a better place to work. We surely wont be back.

Horrible customer service. Avoid this place, it has definitely went down hill. Our bowling lane kept acting up and we had to track someone down to assist us. Of course nothing was even mentioned about the inconvenience. I let that slide since the prices were reasonable. Then we went upstairs to the arcade and that is when I vowed never to go there again. Faulty machines and horrible customer service.

The set up is awesome, arcade and restaurant upstairs with a bar and bowling downstairs. But service is disappointing. Had three arcade games fail to give us coins and when we told someone he gave us a few coins and didnt put any sign up on any of the three machines. We had plans to stay and play longer but once he failed to warn others about the machines not working we left and wont be coming back

I like going to the Coliseum. I like the fact that I dont feel awkward playing video games, it is much better than having to sit at home or go to Chuckie Cheese. Yuck! The bar and bowling downstairs is great for adults. The bar food is reasonably priced and is good! The bowling is inexpensive and worth the $ spent. Never had many issues with lanes being down or anything like that.

I would have been able to stay all night and play games, but the manager did nothing when we told him a few of the machines ran out of tokens and when we swiped our cards it was taking the money but not giving is tokens. He didnt put a sign up or anything and then seemed annoyed that I told him a second time...

Went mid day on a Tuesday. They crammed my friend and me on lane one next to a family on lane two when the rest of the alley was open. On top of that the lane was dryer than...well I wont go there. It was dry and had no sign that it had been oiled in the recent past. Price was good but quality was terrible.

For the most part I enjoy this place. The service is normally good, though sometimes slow (tonight was an exception, our waitress was amazing). The food is typical bar fare but good. Biggest complaint is that a lot of the beers came in TINY glasses even though we were paying full price.

If you have ever to Dave and Busters do not come here. Over priced for what little you get with the games. Dont get me wrong you will have fun but not for long. Everything kept taking my chips and would not let me play. Down stairs is for adults only. There is a bar ANF bowling.

Food: Whether it be the bar downstairs or the restaurant upstairs. Both, expensive!! And barely get any food! Not to mention, my beer smelled...well vomit worthy. Bar food sucked. Restaurant food wasnt bad. Games: Great place for kid entertainment. Adults will get bored fast.

The food and drinks are standard bar price. The service however is very lacking. Waited at the bar and watched the bar tender have an extended conversation while waiting for our drinks. Also watch any fried foods Im not sure the oil gets changed all that often.

Used to be a great place for food and fun but under new management has gone way down hill. Bad food, stale beer and all the games/fixtures are dilapidated and worn out. Customer service is slow and once you get it not satisfactory. Wont make the trip again.

Hahaha. Sit for half hour before server even noticed us. Told us they were busy. 2 servers on a Sat. Night? Yea, that will grow a business that is crashing already. Oh by the way, still sitting here. Got our drinks on our own. Waiting to bowl. Mmmmmmmmm?

Enjoy going to the What-If Cafe there. Dont really bother with the rest of it. Took my kids there a couple of times but seemed very small, noisy and limited selection of games. They got bored quickly trying to find something new to play.
