Publicly states open till 10. Lock down and hustle to leave begins at 910 pm. Hostess had no clue of the price of cocktails did not offer to inquire, had to go to bar where we were told about $5 depending on whats in it. Arrived at 855pm with in 20 minutes an adjacent area was being vacuumed. Not usually an issue except as the proximity of our table was close enough to hear every word of the conversation being had over the vacuum. Was offered a bread tray while we waited took 20 minutes for cold sliced bread to arrive. An inadvertent spill of salad dressing on the table and my glasses, did not seem to be a reason to move with any hast. (It was an accident and the waitress was very contrite). The food was good and attitude of our server adequate. I did not come for adequate. The food is lifting this reviewers opinion of The Wooden Nickel by 2 stars I am unlikely to return. Unless it is for a special event i have no say in.

Hosted a retirement party in the banquet room. Andy was very organized and helpful with planning. The food and staff were excellent during the party....very attentive with drinks etc. Portion sizes were enormous, especially the beef tips. Well worth the price and I look forward to the next party!

Service slow . they put my son and me in different part of the restaurant away from everyone else so they would forget about us. And they forgot to put our mozeralla sticks also. Felt treated differently from everyone else. Not sure if I wanna go back

Nice up scale restaurant my wife like her Ruben sandwich how ever my shrimp was overdon , peapod over Cook perhaps this is the way you and your Cook like it, not me I for one will let you know how I want my food prepare the next time I see you.

The food has always been excellent! The service on the other hand is to be desired :- every time I have eaten here the waitresss seem to get lost or gossiping within ear shot about other patrons and their drinking habits.

Food is expensive .a couple was seated after us Got their water within seconds. As we waited 15 to 20 minutes to even receive water from the same waitress.I felt left like they were races. Unfair.

Food is ok. Not bad, but not fantastic. The food is usually what I ordered, but service can be a little on the slow side even during less busy times. Its a bit pricey for the food you get.

I like the rustic atmosphere. The menu has a huge selection. I went with family and had three small children and waitress was great. Everyones food was well liked. I will go back
