Not really for me. First, the place is really expensive because, as you guessed it, they charge for rice and naan. The entrees are already overpriced, so not sure why they feel they must take more. Overall the food is really tasty and all in all, the buffet is a pretty good value with a decent selection. That being said, these clowns for some reason refuse to make an effort to honor spice level requests. I ask for it medium hot, it is so hot that it is unbearable (tongue refusing duty, meal ruined, I go home hungry and in pain). I ask for it mild, same thing (I end up with fire shooting out of every orifice). I ask for it "Please! NO SPICE", and they give you the "mild" that I just described. Unless you like about a level-3/10 "Indian" hot (or 5/10 American hot), you will be in trouble here regardless of your requests. As my title states, "not for me"... but if you like gobs of chili powder, this then this place is a unique find. Its one of the very few buffets that use this much heat.

This place has excellent excellent Biriyani - if they make it fresh that is. Been there a few times this year. The main owner is a nice man. But on one recent occasion I called for a take out. Must have been answered by some stand in, know to the owner. "What do you mean you want a take out?" I said I would like you to pack the food for me...." Pack food and send it by UPS or FEDEX ??? Ok Ok come and get your biriyani It will be ready". All this language I was prepared to forgive. But when I picked up the biriyani and came home, I found it was stuff that has been sitting on a food warmer in their buffet possibly for the whole day. The rice and the meat (skimpy couple of pieces) had dried up and hardened. Threw most of it away and swore never to return to the place.

Horrible food and service ! We ordered Bihari Kabab , I dont know what to name that ! If anybody has a basic idea how to make it will laugh at their so called Bihari Kabab , also we ordered Karahi chicken , took longer that usually takes any in any restaurant but this one was like a regular curry !! Also we ordered 1 porota , 1 roti and 1 makki roti for 3 people . They forgot porota almost first 1 hour , then we said we did not get the porota yet ! They said they got mixed up . Ordered it again , even after 20 minutes ordering 2nd time inspite of saying my kid is hungry server again said it got mixed up and finally we ended up leaving not finishing the food . Order could mix up once , but twice ? On top of that food quality is not good at all !!

One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. There is a typo in the menu card (Desserts is spelt as Desert ... ) and the food was a little too oily..Other than that.. the service was great.. the location the interiors and the food too!!! .. excellent place.. not too overpriced ... dinner for 4 with desserts and drinks cost us about 70$ ... and the meals were sumptuous. Would recommend it for anyone who cares to try Indian style of Chinese cuisine or even just Indian food for that matter.. I have to say this is the best Indian restaurant in the Bensalem area. Nothing in this restaurant is generic .. it has been personalized to portray the beauty of Food Castle! this is the white castle for Indian Cusine!

I heard only negative feedback about this place hence never tried but Ive visited twice in this month with new management or rebranding, we are really excited going there. Staffs are very friendly and surprisingly taste is lot better. Really delicious! Im sure everyone has diff taste buds but we really enjoyed both the time. My entire family liked this place & taste is very delicious when comparing nearby Indian restaurants. You must try and see if this is your place going forward.

I did a take out where I ordered a chilli panner which was $11 and also I drove about 20 mins out of my place from N.E Philly. Once I get home I look at it, it literally has like 8 pecie of panner. When I called back for complain the owner answered he didnt wanted to hear anything thats how they serve there food. I am costumer and I deserve respect. Hear our opinion. Went back drop the food off and didnt even offer refund. Very disappointed

The service is terrible. The staff is unprofessional. Ive given this place enough chances. Theyve repeatedly made mistakes on my takeout orders; the service is so time consuming when eating in; the servers are rude; i was charged gratuity for 4 people, which I had them remove. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was too busy to come out. This is when the server told me that I dont have to come here again. Wow.

I went here for lunch for take out and I was highly disappointed. Indian food is my favorite food and I have eaten Indian food all over the area and I would say the Food Castle is by far the worst. I felt the food was way to pricy for the quality. If you have never eaten Indian food before, I would not recommend coming here. Please save your money!! All in all I was not impressed with the food at all!!

Food Castle was beautiful inside (given that its not the biggest place to eat). I went for the buffet once and there is a decent amount of selection, ranging from kids chicken nuggets and french fries to more classic indian curries. When I went, the food was a little on the cold side - maybe because it was sitting in the buffet area for a while. The pricing was great!

Restaurant is gud and spacious too.Food was superb. There were many options as compared to other indian restaurant. Tandoori was tasty, gud texture but too oily. Ghost curry was yummy with naan. There were other veg and nonveg gravies too. In dessert there was carrot halwa and rice pudding. I liked this restaurant very much and will be visiting again soon. Thank you.

Always good food. Come here often. Last trip in a frend and I ordered chilly chicken, chicken tikka marsala, naan, and some other things. I have become friendly with the staff and they are great. Would recommend to anyone who likes Indian cuisine. I do not know when all the bad reviews were posted, but the Melba and has been under new ownership for about a year now.
