The BBQ is top notch! Everything is available in two flavors, regular and spicey, so it fits a wide variety of taste buds. Theyll even mix the two if you ask! The brisket sandwiches are huge and messy. Youre gonna need to use a fork and knife. The ribs have a rub that is so good you dont need a sauce, but the sauce is too good to pass up! Now for the negative... SKIP THE SIDES!!! If youre in the mood for coleslaw, this is not your place. It tastes more like broccoli salad with too much mayo. KFCs soggy mac & cheese looks hornet next to their little cup of mushrooms w cheese sauce. The cornbread is store bought, COLD, and stale. But what was most disappointing was the baked beans. Even canned pintos heated in their wonderful sauces would have been OK, but instead I got (what I suspect to be) knock off canned Bushs baked beans! Disappointing. The location is horrible. Their position on 51 makes it difficult to get to the shop. Would I go back? Definitely! The business is still new, and will improve with time. I hope they are very successful. If youre gonna check it out, check your bank account balance! This is homemade food, at skyrise prices. Portion size and taste doesnt match up with quality and price point. Ill still go back, but not often.

Simply the best Southern style BBQ around. My wife and I had wanted to stop here since we noticed it last Summer. We finally did last weekend and were not disappointed. Ever since a trip to North Carolina Ive wanted to find BBQ like I had down South. Area 51 Barbeque has satisfied my quest for good authentic Southern BBQ. The portions are generous and worth the price. I especially like the baked beans here as a side.

We came in right at closing (it was our first time there) and the staff was happy, positive, and very friendly.. although it was so just about time for them to shut the doors, they still let us order and even stay and eat. Food was very good, came to our table within minutes.. and worth the price. I will most definitely come back.

Everyone was really friendly and the food was awesome. My fiancé and I tried ribs, brisket, and pulled pork plus mac and cheese and baked beans (we took a lot home...). It was all awesome, and I honestly think it was the best brisket and best beans Ive ever had! Delicious and highly recommended!!!

If you want some finger licking good BBQ this place is a must! Great staff , quick and the meat is moist and falls off the bone. The smoke taste is there and the sauce isnt to over powering! Cant wait for the other location to open up in Baldwin/Whitehall!!

I got the beef brisket sandwich and loved it. Good as anything Id find in my home state of Texas. My husband says four out of five due to the sauce not being as hot as hed liked but no other complaints. He got the ribs and wings and was impressed.

Just left. Ordered the 1/2 rack ribs. I have to say that being from the south, these ribs were the bomb. Fall off the bone delicious. Will return for the wings next week. Good Job Guy.

We have the half chicken and a half rack of ribs. Both delicious and falling off the bone. Gentleman behind the counter was personable. Very enjoyable experience and we will return.

Amazing food! Great people running the shop, they are very friendly and dont make you feel dumb for not knowing the difference between baby back ribs and saint Louise ribs ha-ha.

Ordered BBQ wings and mac n cheese. Wings fell off the bone immediately would have liked more kick in the sauce. Mac n cheese was okay needed more seasonings.

Ribs are a taste of Dixie. Well done in a sauce that doesnt hide the meat. Small place on the side of Pa 51, watch for it or youll pass by.
