We eat here often(twice a week or more)!have for more then 20years its ALWAYS good. Better then most diners. The wait staff is ok. Nice if your nice. If your a punk kid or drunk they will be cold and short. All the food is good. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ive eaten it all. The chicken croquettes are my favorite for dinner and the cheesesteak omelette is the best for breakfast. Salad bar is good until about 8pm then it gets thin cause they close it at 10 so they dont refill it. Soups are Great. This is one of the only place in Allentown that is still Dutch and not Hispanic....yet (its actually Greek) but you know what I mean. Tom Kruze

This is the worst place to go we had plenty of time for breakfast.... people behind us ordered 5 min after us and got their food. Asked for our stuff to go and it hadnt even been started. Then my mom tried to pay for the whole meal I wouldnt let her, the guy charged her $6.58 for coffee and juice. Our total bill was 12.70 how was it $6.58 for coffee and juice?!? I WILL NEVER STEP INTO THIS SHITTY ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!

My girlfriend ordered bbq ribs that was a chef recommendation which tasted over cooked and no flavor even with the bbq. I ordered the Rueben sandwich which ended up being open faced sandwich (i dont like open faced sandwiches) and i had to add tons of salt. The Chef should not have recommendations on the menu if he/she has no taste. Nor should he/she be a chef. Our waitress was nice but seemed impatient.

We always have a terrible time with their mean waitresses and the fact the food is always old but its so close to the house, we always go back but not this time. This is a 24 hour DINER. We called a 5 am for a pick up order and were told they were only serving breakfast! Isnt the point of a diner to get anything any time. I guess not!!

Service was slow and when we got our food, it was cold. Weve been coming to the Sunrise for as long as I can remember. There was a time when we would come once a week, now we get herr maybe once every 3 or 4 months. If service and food gets any worse, we may stop completely.

I dont understand how this Diner ever got 4 stars our silverware was dirty and greasy, the home fries although we asked for well done were burned and greasy. The poached eggs were slimy and uncooked and mine arrived on a dirty plate, there was dry syrup on it, never again!

Inexpensive diner thats open 24/7. Friendly staff thats always attentive to your needs. The only downside is that they are limited on their drinks, everything they offer is from a fountain machine, they do not even carry bottle water.

My fiance and I always enjoy the food, waitresses and small town atmosphere. Cant say anything bad about this establishment and besides 27 cruises, I have eaten all over the world. For this type of restaurant, a big thumbs up.
