We live in Vancouver but we go to this Izzys because the food tastes the best at this location and the seating is the most comfortable here and its easier to get to everything because it isnt as spread out as some of the other locations. I dont know the names of the people but there is a older Hispanic male server who is always very friendly and they seem to have told the crew to be serious about customer service because they go out of their way to accomodate. The pizza is always good and other foods also...they keep everything replenished when it runs out...I always tell them their location is the best and thats usually because the manager is running it well..the only negative is the price increase to $13.99/person..so we dont go there as often as we used to...I know its because some people eat way too much and that causes the rest of us to have to pay more so that part is unfortunate...

GOT FOOD POISONING!!! We were planning dinner and a movie (a rare treat). We had a babysitter and we were given a gift card of $25 and movie passes to have a rare date night. We went there only because of the gift card and the food was okay tasting and horrible on the fish. We found out that it didnt matter if you went to the grill and ordered or not if you got anything besides pizza then you got charged the grill price. So we still had to pay a few dollars for the two of us. We hadnt been gone more than 30 minutes and both of us started not feeling well and now a little over 12 hours later still having major illness. Told we have Food Poisoning. DONT waste your money or time on this place!!!!

This place is great. The food is exactly what one would expect. But what really separates this place from the rest is the incredible staff. Always extremely pleasant and excited to help! Just the nicest people youll ever meet and very hard working. My wife and i have been coming for years and they recognize us even though we only come in once and a while. They know many of their customers by name. It reminds me of th original izzys that i grew up going to where izzy herself would bring me a sunday with a candle in it for my birthday. A great deal for a family.

Called in an order to-go and was quoted 20 minutes for it to be ready. When I arrived ~25 minutes later, I was told my order wasnt ready yet and wouldnt be ready for another 30 minutes then the employee walked off leaving me standing in the entryway. After waiting an extra 20 minutes the chef came out and personally apologized for the wait and let me know my whole order was coming out hot & fresh from the kitchen. Despite the poor communication on time, I really appreciate the effort to get my order out correctly as quickly as possible.

The service here is generally pretty great, the lunch price is good, and its family friendly. As a vegetarian, the food is just okay. I can eat, but only the salad bar. There are no vegetarian grilled options at all. The salad options are okay. Not a whole lot but theyre fresh. The pizzas are good. Mostly meat though. (The mushroom pizza is really good, but you have to ask them for it and sometimes it takes a while.) All in all, a good place if you have a super hungry crowd with a bunch of meat eaters.

I have never been to Izzys before and was very pleasantly surprised. Even though the building is older, the place was immaculate, from the booths to the bathrooms. The food was presented quite nicely and looked very appetizing. There was just enough of a variety that it wasnt confusing but very satisfying. The pizza was HOLY COW CR** GOOD!!! The manager was very gracious and our server Holly was extremely attentive, informative and helpful. Tip her BIG, she deserves it. I will be back. yum

Our family likes Izzys, it used to be our kids favorite place to go when they were young. There are a lot if choices. Three stars instead of 5 because they consistently have brown lettuce on the salad bar. Not a fan of old lettuce. Theyve had this problem for a long time, and Ive even mentioned it to them more than once. For as busy as they are, they should have fresh lettuce. Maybe they need a new vendor.

The buffet food had flavor and the area was neat and clean. My steak was tiny and overcooked. The restaurant was clean and our server checked on us regularly. They were accommodating with my stroller and was put on a ground level room where I was alone which was fine for me since I needed to breastfeed and none of the employees had a problem with it. I was overcharged on my childs age. Overall, it was good.

Only five stars for attention this place is disgusting, me and my friend were getting dinner and went to get some soup over by the soda machine and BOOM!! a RAT jumps down off of the window ledge worst thing ever Im so sick to my stomach and the manager asked for us to keep it quiet and our meal would be free DO NOT EAT HERE , Well unless you want some unknown fiesies or something in your food!

My second time here, both with two kids. Amazing service! Good food. Not a huge selection like Hometown (used to be Old Country), but the steak is so good!!! Manger goes around and checks on tables. So nice. Staff is on top of cleaning the buffet, dirty plates, and spills. Great value and will definitely be back!

I used to like Izzys until they refused to honer the meals I had earned with their lottery players club. I have no problem with them ending the program but once someone has earned rewards, it seems very unethical to refuse to redeem those rewards. There was no expiration date or any other restrictions, btw.

The food and the service were both just ok. Buffet food had been sitting for awhile, but that wasnt unexpected as the place was pretty empty due to winter weather street condition. Service wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great either. Dessert options were good and tasted fresh so it ended well.

Horrible food. Dirty tables. Dirty floors. Never before have I been to a restaurant where I looked at the food and wondered whether or not I should eat it because it may or may not give me food poisoning. And I lived in Mexico! Save your money, time, and toilet paper ; eat someplace else.

Grill orders take forever but I think thats a chain-wide trick to keep you from filling up on the higher cost items. I noticed the same thing at other locations. Basically just American comfort food. Its not the best, but its fresh & hot. The wait staff are nice.

This pizza is very breaded and its expensive in my opinion for a pizza place. 13.99 with water. Now I will say they had one employee that worked very hard. The waiter / bus boy hes always smiling and working. If someone deserved a increase in pay he was the guy.

Ive eaten at several different locations and the food is out of site good! The staff is a little unattenative but other then that, well worth every penny. The garlic mashed potatoes with gravy along with the hand breaded fried chicken is my idea of a GREAT meal
