I take my boys here often and usually have a pleasant experience. However, tonight was a very different situation. It was not very busy, we only waited 5 minutes for a table. Our appetizer was overcooked. I never send food back, but this was obviously overcooked, even to our waitress, so she sent it back for us ... when a new one returned to our table, it looked EXACTLY the same. She asked if everything was alright, and all I could do was look at her and laugh. I said, "yeah, sure, its fine," knowing that if this was the replacement product, my efforts were futile. She said, "are you saying its fine because they look the same?" I just looked at her and she smiled and walked away. My son and I just looked at each other. We just shrugged it off in hopes that our entrees would be better. Fortunately, for my son, his was fine, mine however, was swimming in grease. I tried to cut it and take it off of the plate and soak the grease off on a napkin. She came over and saw this and insisted on bringing it back. She saw how disgusting it looked and agreed that she couldnt even eat it, that it wouldve made her sick. In the interim, she brought me fries to eat while my son finished his food. By the time my new entree came out, I was full from the fries I had consumed while waiting. I asked if I could get a refill on my tea and a to go box. She brought the box and I paid my bill via the kiosk machine on the table. Of course, something funky happened, and the waitress had to go see a manager to figure out what was wrong with the machine. I took a deep breath and asked her to make sure my card would not be charged twice. She then copped an attitude, came back with a printed receipt, my card, and a pen, and slammed it on the table and said quickly, have a good night. WTF? Then I said, "may I have my tea to go?" She brought back an unsweetened tea (not my order) in a to go cup, put it on the table without a word and walked off. I was so tempted to not leave a dime as a tip, but thats not in my nature. Then, while I was calming down for a few minutes and filling out the printed receipt, a manager walks over (right as we are exiting the booth). Am I to assume we are taking too long to leave, do you actually want to assist, are you just a sounding board for our frustration, or are you trying to get us out as soon as possible? I vent my frustration and leave. For the record, Im a highly decorated disabled combat veteran. I tipped this waitress well over 20% tonight, and at the bottom of the ticket I wrote, "SEE-IM NOT A DICK, BUT RED ROBIN HAS GONE DOWN HILL" Get it together Red Robin in Sherwood, and take some pride in your work and value your customers more instead of your money. You just lost one hell of an American family that patronized your establishment regularly. Not because your food was terrible tonight, but because you lacked consideration for your customer tonight.

Ugh! Tried to take our nephew out to his 5 year birthday lunch yesterday... Went to red robin in sherwood at 1:40pm. Figured it wouldnt be crowded so we could take three kids and have a nice lunch. We were wrong!! Worst dining experience of my life!! After we were seated we waited over 20 minutes to order, then my kiddo spilled her drink, no one ever brought napkins even after we asked... Our food took over an hour to get to our table tho every single family that came in after us was served. We asked multiple times what was going on, our waitress just said it wasnt ready... Then when they brought our food it was all ice cold as if it had been sitting for an hour. (Still no napkins btw)... Then...it gets worse... Another waitress spilled ranch in my purse, just smiled and kept walking (no apology for spilling ranch in my purse) ... We asked for napkins again and we told our waitress our food was cold... So she went to have them re make it (another 30 minute wait) I still have ranch in my purse my daughter still has a spill on her table, still no napkins. They bring our food, its warm now so we eat (still no napkins tho we asked again) THEN they tell my nephew they will bring him ice cream for his bday (another 30 minute wait) they never bring his ice cream we leave after waiting 30 minutes... But right before we leave they bring napkins. The restaurant was not crowded, there was no reason for such horrible service! Not to mention the bathrooms were disgusting, there was no soap or hand towels either... Moral of this story, we will never go back to that red robin & I recommend no one else go there either! Thank goodness they are building another one by i5... I will drive there from now on!

This is a great place to be a regular! My husband and I regularly eat at the bar, and one of the bartenders has gotten to know us. Weve been going there before we got married, and after we did, the bartender noticed our rings and congratulated us. He then had the whole staff sign a card for us and insisted we take a dessert home. Not all of the staff is quite so amazing, but they are all friendly and generally attentive. The food is reliably tasty and fresh, and if you ever have any complaints for some reason, they are always happy to fix it. My only complaint here is that they will ask if you want some pink or no pink in your burger, and your answer seems to have zero correlation with the amount of pink the burger has when it arrives. The burger is always juicy yet done enough for me, so I dont care, but you may have to send it back if youre pickier about how done it is. They also often forget things like requested sauces, though theyve gotten better recently. If you can get past that, youll enjoy yourself and the food. They also have a selection of cocktails and taps and whatnot, and those are all good, too. I especially like their margaritas and lemonades. Their milkshakes are the best Ive ever had, whether you get them liquored up or not. Theres frequently a bit of a wait during dinnertime, and its popular with families. If you dont want to wait or dont like sitting with kids, the bar has always had room every time Ive been there. They also have a patio, which is nice during the summer.

I enjoy the Red Robin chain, but this location has been disappointing with the service on three consecutive occasions (making coincidence or bad days less questionable). Most of the issue is with the Hosts/Hostesses at the store front being generally rude with greeting and serving customers as they enter it feels like they upset you from the start. The amount of time you could find yourself waiting for your food could be in excess of 40 minutes from the order being placed. The servers seemed to be annoyed if you asked them for anything, we specifically would ask for more french fries because since the franchise switched from the baskets you get a fairly small serving and seem to always ask for more. We go out to eat about once a month and we do like Red Robin but we will not go to this one due to the repeated service issues.
