I have been to Mazatlan several times and have gotten terrible service every time. Once, I spilled my margarita on the table and the waitress let me sit there with the mess on the table,with no attempt to clean it up(after 5 min). Finally, I moved to another table that was clean. The wait staff got the hint. I was embaressed. When the wait staff should have taken care of it as if there was nothing wrong and offered me another margarita(which is what Juan Colorado would have done without a second thought)they ignored it and me. It makes me sad, because now the wait staff treats me like second class citizen. I wont ever go back there!!!! Word of mouth publicity is powerful!!!! PS I still left a tip, which I regret!

My husband and I are great mexican food lovers and have been to just about every mexican restaurant out there. This is by far our favorite! We love the staff and how on top of things they are, I love that you get the standard salsa and chips plus the refried beans...so yummy! Also just love the food! We go here with the kids probably 3 - 4 times a month and have never had a bad experience. They can get pretty crowded on weekends and that slows the staff down I have noticed but other than that its wonderful!

Everything is perfect, right down to the fresh homemade salsa served with hot chips to start. The service was spectacular, the decor very cool...I really wanted to like this place! Its the food. Hot and fresh, beautifully presented...and bland as heck. Had a similar experience at El Indio in Portland. I get it, I really do, blanding everything out brings in large numbers of those who dont do spicy. Wish there was some way to indicate preferred level of spiciness. Do that and we would be talking 4 to 5 stars.

This is Aweful Mexican food. I thought Mexican food was a lost cause in Oregon because of this place. The food is a joke. I got chili relleno here that was a basic omelet with cheese and green pepper. It was beyond awful and was watery and weird. It was not a relleno but A horrible omelet.The only thing that is mildly okay is the bean dip with the chips. El Guajillo in Tigard actually has good Mexican food. Dont waste your time or money on food that is gross.

A real delight every time we go. The staff has always been helpful in making us feel welcome and responding to our special requests when ordering. The portions are large which allows us to bring a little home to savor later. The service has always been prompt and pleasant and they will even help with my growing spanish vocabulary. Cheers,

Much like the other locations in this chain, this is a decent Mexican food place. They have an enormous menu with all things Mexican. Theyre not the best Mexican food around, but they are a far cry better than Taco Bell. The prices range between $10 & $15 for a standard entree which is plenty of food for most adults.

We have eaten here several times and while we do not necessarily find the food exciting, it is consistently good, the service is great, and the margaritas tasty. This is good, reasonably priced Mexcian food, and certainly the best we have found in the Tualatin-Sherwood area.

My favorite dinner stop before the movies. Tonight I had the (no shell) Taco Salad. It was delicious and just hit the spot! Price is good too! The only problem was, some waitress took my tortilla chips before I was done!

Im still on the search for a Mexican restaurant in this part of the world that can measure up to the ones I frequented back home in Mississippi. This one is the closest. The food is good, plentiful, and decently priced.

I love Mazatlan! It is the best Mexican/American food in the area! (There are three MX restaurants in Sherwood, dont bother with the other 2). Great food! Great people! The prices have gotten a little high though...
