DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! My husband and I have frequented Tapatio several times because we live close by. Every time we leave shaking our heads, kicking ourselves for not remembering the last time we ate there and said we would never come back. This time is for sure the last time they will ever receive money from us. We bought the Living Social deal and also found a coupon in the mail so we decided to give it a go. The coupon said not valid with any other coupon and we werent sure if the Living Social qualified as a coupon so we brought both and were going to ask. If not, no big deal. We were seated and were looking through the menu and over half of the menu says "Not valid for coupons". Weird. The waitress walked by and saw both the coupon and LS printout on our table and went into a ranting fit over it! Im not kidding. It was like a three year olds tantrum over not getting a toy they wanted. She grabbed both of them out of my husbands hand and said very loudly, "You cant use together! You cant use together! See? See? Right here!" And she pulled out a pen and circled the words on the coupon. Pointing to it and repeating, "See? Read right here!" So rude and un called for. My husband, who is much nicer than I am, said politely, "Thank you for pointing that out. I was going to ask you about that, but I can read and dont need it circled." At that she grabbed both and walked away, without taking our order. Another 10-15 minutes goes by and she finally comes back to take our order. My husband orders something with steak in it (dont remember exactly what) and she reacts the exact same way! I couldnt believe it! This time it was over the steak not being an option with the LS deal. Then she runs off and brings back the paper she had taken away from us and again circling the no steak part. It was ridiculous. Overall, the service was awful, the food was mediocre at best (my daughters mac and cheese from the kids menu was clearly Kraft Blue Box and i could make it better than they did). BUT THERE IS MORE!!!! After the Living Social deal, our bill came to 8.90 and we were not leaving a tip after that fiasco. We wrote a zero with a line through it in the tip line. A few days later we see in our bank account that our total bill from that night was 12.90. She wrote in her own tip! I couldnt believe it. Like I said, save your time, money and dignity and dont go Tapatio. If you want good Mexican food in the same area, go to Mazatlan on TV Hwy. Have never had bad service and the food is much better.

We used to go here for happy hour but the food..... what can I say, its mediocre, I grew up in a hispanic household eating authentic mexican food. This stuff is like Americanized Mexican food with a lackluster feel. The jukebox comes on and is blaring so loud u cant hear the person across from u. Food needs a revamp. Its bland and overpriced. It seems to be missing some Love. Update : 2-13-2017 . I see the owner responded but nothing has changed. Last time I gave this place its final chance and guess what? Burnt tasting chips, crusty salsa, runny beans. Lack luster service and not 1 person in the restaurant at 6:30 in the evening?? Walked across the parking lot to the 649 for a beer, fantastic! You guys lost a handful of customers now because we used to bring up to 10 people at a time. Dont think were coming back. Just not good. Sorry I tried to like your place. The people liking this place with 5 stars I believe do not know what real Hispanic food taste like. Its supposed to be fresh , its supposed to be flavorful and it shouldnt look like slop. You can get away with this kind of food for a while longer but Aloha and Beaverton are growing fast so watch out. The food trucks are putting out better food!

Wow, Im rather suprised at the rave reviews for this Mexican Food Eatery. Its NOT that good, but is very average. I mean that truthfully. LaFagotta or Pepitos and even Haceinda Real is mucho better. Trust me folks..I eat out about 3 times per week. Mexican Food is our forte here. Now with that being said, their BEST VALUE is actually on their SUNDAY BRUNCH. I swear the enchildas and other items on the buffet are better than buying a combo. Weird, but we keep going back to the Buffet now and are pretty happy. So theres the facts and Im sticking to them! I just cannot find ANY good Mexican food out here on the West Side, even Hillsburrito has pretty bad places. Just because they are packed with Hispanics, doesnt mean its authentic or good, so please keep that in mind.

The friday margirita special was horrible! When asked I said it was terrible and the bar keeper said it would be free, he lied! The chilie verda was bad as well. The green sauce was watery and the pork was hard. And they gave me 3 tortillas for the meal! Really? 3. Turned out that was plenty since I didnt eat all of the 13.45 dinner. Bad bad bad and they lie. DO NOT EAT THERE OR TELL ANYONE TO EAT THERE! Ive been to 4 other tapitio and never had the lies or bad food. Dont eat at the Aloha Tapitio

My wife and I have been here a few times and gotten the fajitas each time. The margaritas are decent. We typically share the fajitas for one and its enough food for the both of us. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. Weve never had a problem. The salsa has a little kick to it which is good. We prefer the homey atmosphere and food to a chain restaurant like Chevys up 185th. Were definitely going back.

Great food, and better service. The moment I came in, the server was on the ball, getting me to a table within 30 seconds. Asking for flower tortillas, rather than chips for the appetizers was not a problem. Why this place is not packed at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon is a mystery, but this hidden gem is worth finding. Try heading in of Farmington just past 185th and you will find the entrance to the parking lot.

Have driven past many times without realizing how close I live to a yummy Mexican restaurant! Weve only ordered out and got a few combo platters for takeout but I know we will be back soon. The chicken chimmichanga and enchilada was my favorite, and I didnt care much for their refried beans. Also, parking can fill up quickly but dont let that change your mind!

Ive only been here for lunch time. Always get seated quickly and served quickly. They always have one of their lunch specials that is affordable. The best part is after lunch they bring us dessert for free. They are things cinnamon chips with whipped cream and strawberry drizzle. Best way to end lunch.

This RESTAURANT IS A JOKE!!! Chavo the owner PRESENTED NE A $13 bill for a margarita . Not a double nothing!!! When I questioned the price he told me to never come back! Worst food as there taco shells come from ALBERTSONS Stay away this is one Mexican restaurant that Taco Bell puts to shame!!
