This little restaurant only had the owner in it when we went in and a family waiting on their order. Definitely not the fastest food, BUT well worth the wait! We went on a busy Monday night and his supply of smoked food was running low, he was willing to work with us because of wanting to order the family style meal. So delicious!! The ribs were in a brown sugar sweet dry rub. Four different sauces to add to the ribs and smoked tri tip. My sister in law ordered the pulled pork hoagie and the owner was not confident in serving it because he thought it was too dry. All of our food we ordered was delicious. Reasonably priced. There was 8 adults and 3 kids, just over $100 for all of us. I would totally go back the next time we are in visiting Seaside. The locals seem to come in often and we obviously sadden a few when we finished off his ribs and tri tip, all of which said theyd return tomorrow.

We ordered the Fish & Chips and the dolphin burger. The fish and chips are ok, but nothing special. The burger was so bad that I wanted to puke. The absolute worst burger in the history of burgers. You can make a better burger buying a frozen patty at Safeway and cooking it up on the grill. I half expected to see Gordon Ramsay in there for an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Hes about the only thing that could save this place. The waitress working there was so annoying it was uncomfortable. I wish we would have just walked out. I cant recommend this place at all. I would never go back, not even if they paid me to eat there. Spend your money elsewhere.

I think this is the only BBQ restaurant in Seaside which is sad because this was not good BBQ. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was very disappointed. The pork had no smoke flavor at all. It tasted like it was boiled or reheated. On top off that, it was not pulled. It was not cooked long enough to be pulled so it was chopped. My brother got the burger and he really liked it but I would steer clear of the BBQ. The service was extremely slow and there were only two other tables being served. The waitress was great and was very kind. I appreciated her attention to my daughter. She is a good waitress.

Wow. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary dinner. Not romantic at all, more of a treasure of a hole in the wall. We each got a single combo meal, both had ribs, I had tritip, fries and mashed potatoes. She had pulled pork, fries and macaroni salad. It was all delicious. I didnt enjoy the mashed potatoes. The ribs are amazing and the pulled pork stood out. Great service. Our waitress was a lady decked out in Viking gear. She was so kind and pleasant. Tip-dont get the 2 person combo. For a $1 more get 2 single combos and get another meat.

When you walk in you can smell the bbq smoking, awesome. Ordered pulled pork hogie. Didnt know there was no dry rub on the meat when I ordered. Meat had no real flavor and was very dry. Cole slaw also needs some improvement. In the south you put coleslaw on the sandwich. This isnt possible unless you finely chop the slaw. The slaw was very chunky. Waiter checked on us once shortly after meal was delivered but didnt return afterwards. Ever try to eat dry meat with an empty glass?

Very poor service. Ordered the tri tip, it was still bleeding. Literally raw meat. I kindly asked server to recook it for me. She very rudely took it back and threw it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I had to ask for silverware, she threw it on the table. I also asked for a bun, she gave it to me with her bare hands after shed already been coughing and sneezing. The server also had horrible hygene, she smelled like bad b.o. I had to share this story.

Im sorry, but this place sucks. Ive never had a bad hotdog until now. The fries were salty but good the chowder had way too much garlic. And my wifes sandwich had a hair in it. This is not a place Id recommend to anyone!!!! All around bad!!!! Not to mention the pooping afterwards, this place ruined our trip! The waitress had B.O. I just cant understand how could a restaurant owner not care about their place of business like that.... Just unreal!

What a wonderful addition to the Seaside/Gearhart restaurant scene. Not fancy inside but good food (ribs, cole slaw and mac n cheese) which is freshly prepared and delicious. The ribs are meaty, not fancy nor slathered in sauce. You get to select the one you want and the Whale sauce is yummy. The prices are more than reasonable. I cant wait to go back and try the other items -- especially the smoked salmon. A great find

The employees were super nice. They were out of the hickory mild BBQ sauce, the ribs were super dry and almost crunchy. The pulled pork was great, Cole slaw was good, the tri-tip needed seasoning, beans were good, the mashed potatoes tasted like cafeteria mashers. All in all it was decent. Im sure it probably is the best one on this coast. I would come back. Serving size was great.

Great place for BBQ! Pulled pork was a bit dry, but good. Ribs were top quality meat and cook. Their whale sauce was so good we bought a bottle of it. The sides were all tasty as well (didnt try the fries, Mac salad wasnt available). Gluten-free wife was able to enjoy a good meal too!! Service was very friendly. This will be in our regular list of meal stops now!

I was surprised to find that this place was very good. Everyone in my home loved the food! I would recommend everyone to eat here. The tri tip was our favorite, which says a lot because my husband is a pulled pork guy all the way. But dont misunderstand... The pulled pork was awesome too! If you are in the mood for BBQ and your in seaside, this is the place to go!

The food was really good. We got the Hawaiian burger and the pulled pork sliders, both of which were fantastic. Only thing I didnt like was the bun used on the burger was just a cheap sesame seed bun you buy in packs of eight at walmart. With a higher quality bun the burger would have been perfect.

WOW! The best smoked pulled pork out there. I was surprised at first that the meat was white not covered in bbq sauce but quickly realized it didnt need it. We went back for lunch again the following day because it is SOOOO good. Cant wait to go back to Seaside just for the smoked pulled pork.

Nothing special. The orca burger tested like they bought the prepackaged meat from Safeway. The waiter tossed the menus on the table after walking around couple times. Also tossed the spoon to my mom when she brought the clam chowder. Shes probably just not aware of how to do her job.
