My experience here was just ok. Perhaps it was an off night, perhaps another time Ill enjoy it more, but for now, its 3-stars for me. I came here with a friend on a Monday night. Disappointingly, they were out of brisket. What?! How is that possible? We both ordered the BBQ sandwich, me with sausage, him with pulled pork. We tried for beers but they were out of a bunch of those as well. We sat down outside and the food arrived almost instantly. We started eating but had a tough time managing the sandwiches, paper on the tray, napkins, and utensils with the wind blowing as hard as it was. I wish it had been warmer, or that there were heaters outside on the patio, and while that seems like it might be in the works, we were instantly frozen. The blankets supplied were a nice touch, but it was hard not getting BBQ sauce all over them! The food was also just ok. The sausage itself was actually really good but it was ruined by the rest of the sandwich. The cole slaw was overpowering, there werent enough pickles to balance out the sweetness of the cole slaw and BBQ sauce, and I lost the taste of the sausage altogether. My friend seemed to enjoy his pulled pork quite a bit, though. I dont know... Im not rushing back here with the plethora of BBQ joints in the city, but I would like to come back eventually to try the brisket.

We drove from golden gate just to eat here. In San Francisco traffic , we even watched the food channel video raving about the delicious bbq. What a disappointment. I think the good cook had the day off or went somewhere else just like we should have done. Had the three meat platter (pulled pork, brisket, sausage ) Cole slaw , spicy fries. We also got a rib platter. To begin the meat Was too fatty and cold. The brisket was too fatty and very flavorless and dry. The sausage was just like a store bought pack, no real flavor . Pulled pork was also bland. The roll was just there, nothing special about it. the fries were ok till you get to the bottom ones they were soaked in fat could not eat half the serving. The slaw was also in need of flavor. The ribs were ok but needed some bbq sauce on the side. Only two choices on table ,they were very plain. The ice tea needed to be colder and was very water down. We have had better tasting food at the samples stands at costco. It was just too pricy for the amount of food . If you are looking for ok priced bbq famous daves has happy hour on weekends and the stuff on the menu is alot better than what we had here. Dont waste your time money, gas and meter money to eat here.

Who does love BBQ? But when its done right, you just cant help but say DANG that was good. Ive had 4505 meats at their food truck for years. Theyre chicharones are famous and even better on their hot dogs, so when they opened a shop, we all got excited and everyone flocked here. When you first see the place it can be a bit confusing. A metal fence protecting wooden picnic table, when I say protect, I say it with a loose tongue. You make it through the door and theres a handful of stools along a very short counter on both sides. Theres a black chalkboard with the menu, you have your meats, sides, meat by the pound, plates, sandwiches and then theres the beer on tap. I got a plate with beef brisket and pulled pork. I highly recommend their fries there, they house cut and crispy. The posole soup is spicy and a bit greasy but theres lots of chunks of sausage. The potato salad has a slight kick to it, which made it unique and delicious. I like that they serve BBQ sauce on the side and you have the choice to use spicy mustard too. One thing I like is that you have the option of bread, Im not a sliced white bread type of person and went with the parker rolls, it was light and fluffy on the inside.

First trip, I had the BBQ Chicken meal (Includes 2 sides - I got Frankaroni and Spicy Fries) and the Cheeseburger. Second trip, had the Brisket with the Frankaroni and the Burger once again. The BBQ Chicken was alright. Seemed a little dry to me. I wanted to try the Brisket the first trip but they ran out by the time we got there on an evening. The Frankaroni, a deep fried macaroni and cheese square, is pure comfort food. Loved the crispy outside and the creamy cheesy inside containing pieces of hot dog. The Spicy Fries were also delicious. Not sure what concoction they put on the fries but its tasty! It seems to be some chimchurri sauce. The second time at 4505, I finally got to try the Brisket. It was melt-in-your-mouth delish. Im not a huge BBQ fan, meaning, I dont crave it, but I felt this brisket was good based on my naive BBQ palate. They didnt give out a whole lot...maybe they were afraid they would run out? Based on how much we paid, they could have added some more to get our moneys worth. The burger was pretty good...good enough to get it a second time. Their secret sauce made the burger but thats pretty much all I can say about that. I would definitely go again!

OK. My husband and I always wanted to try the food here. We drive by all the time and see long lines of people. We had dreamy ideas that the food was amazing well today we WOKE THE H UP! The staff is nice, the food LOOKS GOOD BUT TASTES TERRIBLE! I ordered the rib plate and a chicken plate. OK, I understood the meat was smoked but the chicken had no flavor and was raw! Salmonella on a plate! The BBQ sauce was runny like brown water and no flavor. It scared me and reminded me of xxxx. The ribs were under cooked (PORK UNDER COOKED) - ARE YOU KIDDING!! So on to the potato salad - it looked great but was bland as sand. Delicious looking rolls but gobs of dough! I was left to try the baked beans - there was a sour after taste and I didnt care for that at all. I like BBQ and all the "FIXINS but we were so disappointed I had to write. I felt like we just got taken. To the owners/cooks: You have a great business. I wish you all the best but I just didnt like the food and I REALLY WANTED TO ENJOY IT. I was really disappointed and for my $40.00 the only thing I liked was the soda! If I had a chance to do it all again - SKIP THIS PLACE. :-(

Not really much to say other than they serve REALLY overpriced burgers. I just ordered from their place and sure the burger was good but I paid a total of $11 for the burger (which comes with some sauce, lettuce, cheese, onions and 1 patty). I paid an extra $4.50 for an extra patty, and $4.50 for a root beer that is kids sized compared to most places. In total my order was around $25 after taxes for a double cheese burger and small soda. I cannot believe that people are accepting this as alright, I can easily get a burger at Uncle boys that gives me a burger, drink and fries. I didnt even get fries and I paid nearly $30!!! The burger patties arent even much, they are thin and cooked medium to make you think it tastes better than it does. Overall this was just a "good" burger. Nothing more. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is due to the fact that the burger was good, just immensely over priced.
