Wing FLOP is more like it. My Fiance and I really wanted to like this place. We are fans of good food, and one of our favorites is hot wings. We saw the good reviews, and figured we were solid. The menu looked good, with like 8 different flavors of wings. We got the meal for two with their Louisiana Rub and Garlic Parmesan wings for a dine-in, with cheesy fries. They told us those were really popular. And thats where it all went wrong. We waited for a good 20 minutes to see people that came in after we had already ordered to get served before us, but I let it slide. When it was finally ready, they yelled my name and set a bag on the counter. I told them I had ordered for dine in, and let it slide. They took the stuff out of the bag and put it on a tray, with regular fries. I told them thats not what I ordered, and let it slide, although at this point I was frustrated. They put a bunch of cheese on my fries and handed it back to me. I sat down hoping these wings everyone seems to like would be worth it. FAR from it. They were WAY overcooked, to the point they were completely dry on the inside, but somehow they managed to serve these swimming in grease at the same time. They flavors were also terrible. The fries were soggy, even the ones the cheese hadnt touched. I dont understand how people can like this place. I guess the same reason people like burgers at Mcdonalds cause they dont know any better. These guys suck at life, and I wouldnt dare step foot in there again. Whoever said this place is better than Fire on the Mountain deserves a punch in the face. Thats like comparing a diamond to a turd.

Ive never been a fan of Wing Stop to begin with but my fiance on the other hand loves this place, which is the only reason I even spent my money here today. I go in, the music and kitchen noise is loud-ish. The front counter person mumbles something that I didnt catch, I thought he asked if it was for here or to-go, so I just proceed to say I have a call in order. This dude literally yells "I SAID HOW ARE YOU?" I gracefully just said "oh, my bad Im good thanks how about yourself?" and let him look my order up. I have to tell you, I had just left from work from a 10 hour shift, talking to patients all damn day long so Im in auto pilot just wanting to get home, I didnt want to come in the first place but my fiance insisted, and just to have the employee yell in my face. I assume he thought that I was just being overtly rude by not telling him how I was doing, but little did he know I didnt hear him. I had half a mind to let him have it, but I figured a review would be even better. From the sounds of it they need to work on customer service a little harder. I worked in the food service industry for 12 years, so I have very little patience for food industry workers with crappy customer service skills. Take your ass home or reach down somewhere deep inside of yourself and pull it together. I didnt necessarily love all of my jobs back in the day, but I NEVER gave anyone a bad customer experince... intentionally! Yall have to do better!

Wing experts my butt. They did not know what medium sauce was, they do not understand the meaning of extra crispy (when I got my wings they were really soggy which is the exact opposite of crispy), their French fries have this awful sweet taste and are very soggy as well (who in their right mind makes French fries sweet?), they take forever to make these awful wings (30 to 45 min wait for 8 wings), and their prices are ridiculous for their awful tasting wings. Wings n More is better without a doubt with their more affordable prices, more appetizing crispy wings, fries that are crisp and perfectly seasoned, they do not make you wait like 30 mins for your order, and a much larger menu selection. WINGSTOP IN PORTLAND IS AWFUL AND I DO NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE. One positive thing about the place is they have great drinks so yay for that. Not like they could mess that up though.

Im done with this place. The food is passable, and more convenient that some wing places that are much better. However, Ive had consistent issues with them, and last night was the last straw. Starting with the big issue, I placed an order online for pickup, because I had a really tight schedule and couldnt spend 20-30 minutes waiting there for food as I have before. When I arrived to pick it up they had absolutely no record of my order. I know the order went through, because I had a confirmation email, but I didnt have half an hour to wait for them to make it at that point. The cashier was very busy, so I understand the dismissive attitude he had toward it, but it certainly wasnt helpful. Also, the food is very overpriced. Ive never been to a wings place that charged extra for the blue cheese or ranch dips and vegetable sticks.

I was so hoping Id like this place. But I was wrong. I gave it 2 starts instead of one because one of the ladies there went out of her way to provide customer service. Too bad the food was so awful because Id have given a 5 just for the CS. Anyway, way too crispy, tastes like the to go container they came in, and smells as bad. I kept forcing myself to eat hoping Id like it but NOPE. Its like pizza schmizza..expanded too fast and quality severely suffered Im going to guess? Yer better off saving yer money. And the potato salad? Id take friggin safeways over wingderp. Their soda is indeed normal soda. So there is that?

We come here pretty often and love it. The food is great, its clean, the staff is super friendly and its fast. One time the wings were overcooked but we werent going to say anything. One of the staff asked if everything was ok and we told her it was a little overcooked. She immediately offered to fix it but we were fine with the way it was. We wouldve still gone back. Before we left they insisted that they give us the same meal on them that we could use anytime. Its sure nice to have your business be appreciated. Love this place!

They do wings and not much else, not a bad thing at all. With the exception of one visit, the service has been commendable. They have a ton of sauces but we tend to stick to the spicier offerings. Id especially recommend the Louisiana dry rub. Both the Bone-in and boneless are worth a shot. Havent stayed in to eat there, but out takeout orders are always correct, well packed and hot when we get home. I wouldnt be surprised if we see this chain expand into other neighborhoods in the next few years.

If you want rude customer service, kitchen staff loudly swearing and yelling at each other (everyones just quiet) and lousy food, this is the place to be. Ive been here twice and twice Ive gotten over salted food with terrible service. The last time I was here one of the employees was swearing and yelling at some customers that they didnt let eat inside because they were "closing". In turn those customers trashed the front of the place. Dinner 1/10 Show 9/10 1 star because I cant give it 0.
