The place was interesting. Has the feel of a beer pizza pub. Large 6-8 person tables which I guess are meant to be shared. The TVs are too high and are a little distracting. I wasnt at the register so I dont know if my friend was offered beer. But if its a "craft beer" kinda place we shouldve been given an upsell. Or offered a lunch beer special. The place was clean and neat. Wouldve been nice to be greeted. We each had a veggie pizza (called the Rose Garden) and added extra things at no charge. One of us had the lunch special $6.50(?) for drink and a 6" pizza. Or a drink and a sandwich or a drink and a salad. Anyway, not bad. A 6" pizza is not enough for me but the cashier just changed mine to a lunch special and upgraded the price to the larger sizes. Nice! The manager came over to ask how everything was and came back again later. I dont mean to gush but the pizza was really, really good. (I added peppercinis and spinach.) the crust was really thin. Almost like a cracker. I wouldnt have ordered it that way, but I actually liked it. The salads were not meal size looking but turned out to be substantial. I liked it and will go back. Im new to this part of town. When I searched delivery restaurants on google maps and Yelp, it never pooped up. But I have a coupon offered by the manager and will order delivery soon!

I was visiting Portland a couple days ago (I used to live there) and I missed my flight in the mid afternoon so I was rebooked on a later flight leaving four hours later. My friend circled back and we went to Cascade Station to find something to eat. We ended up going to Cascade station because it was around 3:30 and they were the only restaurant in the area having happy hour. I got wings, a large pizza and some beers and the total tab was around $23. I was pleased with the food and felt like the service was good. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a pizza restaurant. Trendy, upbeat and well lit. They also have free Wi Fi so I was able to plug in my laptop and get some work done while I was eating.

This place offers speedy service, great prices, and the best pizza Ive ever had. Ive tried a few of their sauces and my favorite by far is the sweet chili sauce. Coupled with their thin crust, the pizza is to die for. With most pizza Ill eat two slices and be done, but something about By Design just makes me crave more. The restaurant itself has a nice, sleek aesthetic with a good amount of seating and space. The entrance hall however is a bit cramped. Overall, this is easily my favorite pizza spot to visit. I just wish I lived closer.

Recently moved to the area and found this great little place while shopping around the other stores nearby. I grabbed a quick bite to eat from their quick to go menu. The pizza was hot, fresh and on my table in minutes. The staff are very friendly. So far Ive only had their pizza, but what Ive eaten has always been top notch. Their blend of dough, cheese, and sauce makes for one of the best pizzas Ive ever eaten.

Stopped by this place with my girlfriend when we took a trip to Portland. The location was very clean, and the staff was fast and attentive. The pizza was delicious - definitely one of the best Ive ever had. They also had an excellent Scottish ale (Fearless), which went really well with the pizza! I highly recommend this place, and look forward to eating here again on our next trip!

Happy hour draft beer and fast delicious pizza for cheap but the help is bad now. first several experiences were awesome. today I took my gym bud there October 30th for happy hour, got in line and was greeted by a morbidly fat 20 something year old boy. he had ZERO sense of humor, ZERO sense of customer skills and made me feel like i was an inconvenience for him to help me.

Its now called By Design Pizza. If we could only By Design "customer service". The pizza was good and I would eat it again. The problem is I would never go back due to the horrible attitudes and awful customer service. Whoever owns the place needs to fire everyone who works there because they are as warm as an ice cube. Its awful service with a side of pizza!!!!!!!!!

I just ordered over the phone for delivery, havent gotten the pizza yet but I was really thrown off by the girls attitude who answered the phone and took the order. Gave me the feeling she didnt want to deal with me or didnt have the time. She put me on hold right away so Im guessing they are maybe busy but she could have been more polite.

Pizza was okay. The look and feel were a little cheap. My biggest issue was the help. The man behind the counter was rude. He said he was the owner. He had that back east roughness, which I dont mind unless someone is wanting my business. There are too many places with this quality of food without an attitude for me to want to come back.

Ok pizza, great breadsticks...but who doesnt have a changing table in either bathroom? What year is this? Thankfully my husband cares more about the store and other patrons than I do. I was laying down my kid to change his poopy diaper on a table and my husband stopped me. Get a changing table!!!

I dont recommend this joint. It is decent. Like they say: "no frills". The ingredients are not outstanding. The price was not exceptional. But to make up for the average price there are less choices than at other build your own pizza places. So if that is what you are looking for... you found it.

This new way to get pizza where I can order anything I want all for one price is pretty cool! Place looks great since remodel and food was awesome. People where very friendly and helpful. Happy hour was great as well for any craft beer for $3.00. Ill be back!!

The girl that was prepared my pizza was not wearing a gloves she was spreading the cheese with the marinara sauce with her long acrylic nails had to asked her if they had gloves and the worst thing was she didnt know where the gloves were. Unsanitary

A custom made pizza place. All the toppings you want for one price. Pizza came out of the oven quickly. Nice crisp crust. Great service. The 10 inch was perfect size for me, the 6 inch great for the wife. Great selection of craft beers.

We went to Portland recently and had pizza from Pizanos 2 of the 3 night we were there. Great pizza and the emplyees were very nice. Gave me great directions to the nearest gas station which is not very close at all. Thanks so much

Happy hour is great deal. $2 beer (draft bluemoon, Fish Tail IPA and porter) $2 per slice pizza Needs a dry erase board with beers on tap. Good LCD screens for watching game. Chill vibe. Had the bacon,chicken Alfredo. Pretty good.

Tried this place out with a Groupon. Good pizza, but nothing super special. Employees were very nice. Prices seemed a little bit high, but I would go back for Happy Hour ($2 slices / $2 beer) or with coupons.
