If you are NOT pierced, tattooed or dressed like the alterna crowd, dont bother going in unless you love being looked down upon. This place is really close to my home, but I wont ever go there again when I have a slice craving. The last three times Ive been in, the person behind the counter was so appallingly rude and unprofessional toward me. Another customer either before or after me that is dressed and pierced in the style of the neighborhood was served politely and kindly, saying thank you. Their orders placed appropriately in the box. Mine? Thrown into the oven and yanked out (30 seconds later cold) and similarly thrown into the box. I said "thank you", he glared at me and said nothing--not even a grunt. RUDE! Ill never give this place my money again.

I got some Hotlips Pizza delivered from this location as part of the Postmates promotion. I ordered two slices of pepperoni. I received two slices of plain cheese pizza, though calling it cheese pizza would be an insult to pizza. My pizza was way undercooked, had virtually no sauce, and had less cheese on it than a frozen pizza from the store. The pizza in no way resembled photos I have seen of their pizzas online. Its the worst pizza I have had in many years. I thought about feeding a piece to my always hungry retriever, but thought better of it! I do understand they may have been slammed by the Postmates promotion, but sending out bland, very undercooked pizza isnt helping either company build business.

Hotlips has a great selection of pizza by the slice that rotates daily. It can be a little spendy (upwards of $4 a slice for the specialty slices) but once you have your first few bites of the quality, locally sourced ingredients youll forget all about it. They also fill growlers here and even offer a discount if you use one of their growlers, so you can satisfy all of your pizza and beer needs in one convenient stop. The staff is nice too, but as youd expect, theyre pretty busy most of the time so expect business before pleasure once you get to the counter.

So if you know me at all or keep tabs on this profile youll know Im a rare giver of 4 or above... but Hotlips... its just a solid win. Even their cheese pizza is goldie locks juuuust right. The homemade cookies are always the bomb and they make their own service and have delivery via smartcar. Really for me they just hit all the right notes. Not crazy expensive but not dirt cheap. Just good quality pizza and a nice crew. Love pizza mmmmmmm tips: the vegan pizza?... its not just for vegans yall, its stellar.

Hello, I am a local customer and have usually had a good experience at this location. Today I called for delivery at 9:46pm and the employee said that the delivery was done at 9:45pm. I would expect more from your customer service and I wouldnt think that the culture of the hotlips franchise would be so black and white. It seems that it would be a grey area of being able to satisfy the loyal customer. Brianna

Pizza was pretty good. But the service was another story. I walked in with a friend and they seemed annoyed that we came in. There was four or five just standing around talking. The women ringing me up seemed eager to get back to her conversation. Was confused on how the pizza ordering worked. And they were not very helpful. Not sure if Ill ever go back.

We all work retail and have to provide a certain level of customer service for a successful business. Im over the snotty hipster attitudes at this location, the pizza isnt that great. Luckily weve been branching out and trying different pizzerias and have been pleasently surprised by their better customer service and better pizza.

Hot Lips is great. They are all over Portland, baking up some amazing pizza pies. Its not the best in Portland but is still damn good. This is the pizza you wanna take home or have delivered. Plus they make their own delicious sodas!

Really solid pizza. They do heat up slices so everything will be nice and warm but not necessarily fresh out of the oven so be sure to chose from the newest looking pizzas. Hot Lips brand sodas are also pretty good for the price.

I just have to give a shout out to this Hot Lips location. I eat here often, and it is consistently delicious. Worth the extra bucks, and Ive truthfully never felt dissatisfied with the food Ive ordered. Yum!
