5.0 take out only. They close mid-afternoon so take note. Only open for breakfast and lunch. There are a few benches and picnic tables within walking distance. A unique experience. We have no previous knowledge of Russian cuisine but we very much enjoyed what we ordered here. Hot, flavorful, and fresh. We have driven past this black and red eye catching building many times. We finally made it a priority to stop. It is located in front of a car wash right on 99W. We thought they only sold coffee but they dont. They have take out breakfast and lunches. We both ordered the Peroshki or Piroshki small hand pies/pockets with various choices of filing. We ordered one potato Kalli and one meat. Both lunches came with cabbage salad and cucumber salad. The salads were fresh and seasoned well. I would be awesome if they added additional Peroshki to the menu with more vegetarian options. I also had the white Russian coffee and My Husband had the Mexi mocha. Both coffees were most excellent. 5/5 stars! I predict that this business will do very well in the next few years. My Husband says that he thinks that if this food stand were in a walkable metro area location they might be able to double their business. Hope they are able to expand into bigger location with more seating options or open up a few more locations. I guess they have an additional location in Hubbard? Most excellent. We will stop there again! You should too! Loved it!

Great coffee and not a bad place to eat. Ive enjoyed the mini-moscow several times, but on my last visit the meat had a funky taste. I only ate a few bites and later got sick. When I called to let them know so they dont serve it to someone with a chronic illness ( that could put them in the hospital) the young womans response was disappointing. At least a sorry would have been appreciated. Instead she said "Thats weird, it was just made on Wednesday...well its fresh now." Very rude and insensitive. I hate complaining for this reason, no one cares and theres no accountability. We used to like this place but this experience changed that. The owners should know, its a reflection on you when youhire young people who serve food that makes people sick because theyre too lazy and dont give a crap.

While pies are truly hearty & delicious, they are a bit on the heavy side - and that could be a nice thing. Pelmeni are absolutely beyond fantastic & will easily beat their funky & hyped-up counterparts from Kachka. Perfect example of balanced creative interpretation of a classic without misleading implications.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Newberg. The ham, egg and cheese sandwich (Alexanders) is fantastic, and at just 3 bucks is plenty of food. Youd expect these fried sandwiches to be greasy, but thats not the case. Ive got to get back here to try the lunch Philly steak sandwich, sounds awesome!

Outstanding service, and incredibly tasty food at a very fair price. This has got to be one of Newbergs best kept secrets. Even if you dont think you like Russian food, youll be pleasantly surprised with the selection and flavors. Plus, the coffees are great; give the "Pot of Gold" a sip!

We tried the Mary and the Boo peroshki and they were both excellent. The delicate flavorful pastry with the tasty , perfectly seasoned fillings went beyond our expectations. The side salads were deliciously refreshing. We look forward to coming back again and again!

Best white mocha ever! I had mine made with a white coffee bean (Bonus; its not roasted as long so it retains more caffeine!) I brought my daughter one of their meat and potatoes stuffed Russian breads, so very good!

Love this place and the people who have helped us every visit, they are wonderful! The piroshki are amazing. I cant describe their awesomeness entirely. You need to try them for yourself! The coffee is also fabulous

Perfect dough and filling combo! Im living an hour away but some evenings I might have to hop in my car and drive for some amazing food. So delicious! Try their potato cheese piroshki.
